With the new dark quiver change to be able to hold 3 black arrows, do these arrows have their own individual timer or does pick up one refresh all stacks ?
Each arrow has it's own timer and they will be displayed as a single buff counter, similar to how ailment stacks are shown

not capped but there are some effects which give you a guaranteed next block and visually give you +100% block chance that actually don't give the 100% block chance for scaling purposes.

Maybe let me and pvt Vlad reconfirm something, as a followup question . Does Renouncement Smite Void Beam benefit from Smite tree or/and vitality/strength attribute scaling? Or the Renouncement Smite Void Spell per Vitality ?
Void Beams from Renouncement is a sub skill of Smite and follows all the same rules as normal. It does not directly gain any attribute scaling at all and that portion of its tooltip can be ignored. It gets any buffs that have been applied to that cast of Smite, including any attribute scaling that Smite has already converted into generic stats.
This is the same for all sub skills
Just as a reminder, target conditional effects like damage to ignited and damage to blinded do not get passed down.

that's right, damage to slowed is a target conditional effect. The effect, more damage, is conditional on the target being slowed.
VR is a combo skill, Warped Time is active while you have used the 1st part of the combo and have the 2nd part on your bar.

The wording conflicts tho - it says "while able to jump backwards" - Future Focus - changes the combo to double jump forward.

Season 2 is looking fantastic. It's the (or at least one of the) biggest patch we've had. There are thousands of things I always want more time for but sometimes you've just gotta push it out of the nest. (in a good way)
Given that Devouring Orb cast on move apparently can echo (from gameplay footage), does that mean it counts as directly casting a spell for the purposes of bleeding heart/Apostate sanctuary?
Question for EHG: With the new changes to Multi-meteors being only cast on direct cast, does this mean that auto-cast meteors have a lower mana cost (like the cost for a single meteor)?
The way it's worded the answer should be no afaik. The procs will cost the full cost but only one meteor will cast
I actually thought the opposite when I read the patch notes.
If it was "when directly casting meteor, consume extra mana for additional meteors to fall" or something (they wouldn't word it like that) then you'd assume that procs wouldn't consume the extra mana. But the node basically just says the skill costs more.
This is what it said in the patch notes: "Twin Meteors grants an additional meteor for direct casts (from any cast). It adds 50 mana cost (from 70)." So I assumed this meant that non-multi-meteor casts would not add +50 mana.
No matter if it's cast via proc or not it'll cost the additional 50 mana. It's just increasing the skills cost. There's no condition mentioned for the cost.
Well that would be really stupid on EHG's part because the entire multi-meteor part of the skill tree would just be a negative for anyone using Harbinger of Stars. It makes sense that it would and should be conditional, because the extra meteors are. The extra cost should clearly only apply if you get extra meteors.

You already can, the setting is called "mute error voice lines" or something along those lines

@supple pulsar this node in frost claw behaves very similarly. Procs will consume the additional mana despite not benefitting from this node as well. Not saying it's good or bad, it's just how it works.
Question about elemental arrow and cold heartseeker, since cold heartseeker is not fire or lightning it does not benefit from elemental arrows, however, if you take fire and steel, it says there is just a generic elemental damage bonus. Would that apply to cold heartseeker or would it not because heartseeker cannot consume elemental arrows to begin with?
The attack you use doesn't even need to be elemental to consume elemental arrow, it just needs to be a bow attack. It will work.
For an additional 4 mana that's not going to be a big deal, but an additional 50 mana when you get no benefit will be a build defining oversight on EHG's part. I understand the nerf, but it would make perfect sense if the spell didn't cost more mana when multi-meteors aren't triggered. This nerf will end up being far more impactful if they just leave the meteor skill tree the way it is. It should be fixed to be "fair", you should be able to cast multi-meteors directly if you want, and also cast single meteors on crits.

Does this mean that this effect is triggered on rifts being cast, or on enemy death?
Rifts are cast on enemy death, so kinda both? (It's on rift cast)

The way it is stated on Devouring Orb does make it sound like it is on rift cast and not enemy death, but the new node Soul Eater says: "The rate at which Void Rift hit damage and area increments when a nearby enemy dies is increased." To me this seems to be implying that rift damage and area increases are from enemy death and not from rift cast.
Technically the increase would still only happen on death since the first one would have base area and damage. And only on the second cast which can only happen via a nearby death will it scale. Normally you'd get the first base cast off of a death and then all the "scaling" casts. But honestly I can see where you're coming from so I'd wait for an answer from Mike to be 100% sure.
Is the new rotgrip passive on Voidknight supposed to scale with "per 1% increased melee attack, throwing or cast speed, whichever is the lowest"? It seems kind of weird to need attack, cast and throwing attackspeed to get any value there...

Got a question on two of the new Volatile Reversal nodes: Hallow Cascade (Abyssal Echo at arrival jump) and Reclaimed Action (always echo after distance leap). Does this combo cause Abyssal Echoes to echo when I perform a big leap, or does it require a different skill to be performed and that one echoes?
Riposte is part of vengeances base fucntionality. So It's easy to know that riposte gets converted. Is ironblades converted by converting vengeance since the subskill has no other sources, and does not explicitly state otherwise?

Hello, on legacy server during a merge my accounts "merchant guild faction rank" got reset on all of my characters. With an almost non-existant market I am now barred from using all of my merchant's guild items which make it nearly impossible to level of up any rate even with many items for sell for 0 gold. Can we do something about this? I am just trying to play test new builds and its miserable.

I just looked at a build-guide that is completely designed so that you switch your gear+idols after you have summoned your minions and you then have to stay in the same echo for longer or you have to do it again... for me personally it ruins every Minion build
Does the increased damage per increased movement speed effects on Wrongwarp and Vaion's Chariot use your current modified movement speed amount after considering more/less movement speed modifiers like Ghostflame and Event Horizon, as shown on the character sheet, or does it only use the sum total of "increased movement speed" modifiers with no further modifications? If it works on increased movement speed before more/less: Lightning Rush in Surge, which grants more damage, is worded differently. Does it work the same way as the other two modifiers?

if it's a normal drop, the way it works is that it rolls for 1LP, if it's successful, it rolls for 2LP, if that is successful, it rolls for 3LP. The numbers you see on database sites are not the values that it is rolling at each of these stages.

- chance to drop this item * chance to roll for 1LP in normal drops
- chance to drop this item in 1LP drops
So high LP level item benefits more from guaranteed 1LP drops, am I right?

If you are still interested, here is an example:
There are two items A, B, with weights 1:9, and chances to have 1LP 10% and 50%.
- In normal drops the chance to find a 1LP A is 10%*10%=1%;
- In 1LP drops the chance is 10% like what you said.
But another way to implement 1LP drops (which you are not using) is to remove all 0LP events, so the chance would be - (10% * 10%) / (10% * 10% + 90% * 50%) = 1/46,
so huge difference.

Yes (one of the woven echo crafts lets you sacrifice one unique to reroll another), it's like a divine + blessed orb combined, all affixes (unique and legendary) and implicits are rerolled at once, LP (if any) is not affected
Returning player here - are low-level bases farmable in high level zones? For example, Kris is the only dagger base with implicit crit multi, and starts dropping around level 27 areas. I remember being almost unable to find these once I was in higher level zones (say, post-campaign) back when I played more on 1.0, and felt like they definitely dropped more when I went back to level ~27 zones.

If you go to your stash in legacy there should be a dropdown top left, you can select the previous Season where you made faction progress, then click the merge button that appears to the right of it and it will merge all of your gold, faction data, materials (everything that's shared stash-wide).
In Season 2, we're adding a new confirmation modal that gives a summary of what it's actually doing, some confirmation messages when it completes, and a message in the faction panel if you have unmerged data to help improve the UX/visibility of the merge process a bit.

Coming from other games, the fact that you need to go to the Bazaar and need to interact with multiple NPC really adds a ton of friction to MG.

Oh I remind of lost caches in monolithes suddenly. Favour cache = one of lost caches? Because the only node relevant to favour cache in weaver tree is adjacent to lost cache node. But the more important thing is which rewards will in favour caches 🤔
It's because the scene is doing scripted animations on a bunch of things (the camera, the player, the NPCs, etc). For an NPC dialog, it's just instant UI changes, so less edge cases to handle.
Never say never, but a trade API seems very unlikely to me. I think we'd be more inclined to try and build something into the game itself that surfaces the relevant info in a user friendly way.
yeah it's no problem on current scene. Just add an skip button when we play it for the second time is fine.
But yeah, how to deal with details on rhythm after skipped the dialog to make sure the game sync with player's action is what EHG need to think. Or maybe EHG can let the dialog keep going after the player reach the vessel? I don't ask any suggestions because all of them will decide by EHG at last.

I tested this on the internal build and the lightning bolts from Unbalanced Scale stay lightning. Also if you take both Order of Lagon (lighting conversion) and Fallen from Grace (void conversion) at the same time, void wins. Order of Lagon has info in the alt text which states "This node has no effect if Smite is already converted to void."

I've a question in regards to sentinel / javelin in particular, when converting javelin to lightning the description of that node states that other stats that affects bleed and ignite are converted too. Does this include duration stats for bleed and ignite conversion to electrify?

Since this effect is a target conditional, it shouldn't be inherited by any ailments applied by ES, right?
Does the term 'directly casted' apply only to the act of casting or to that particular instance that was created in the act of casting. Context is the fissure node in conjunction with the Palarus Sacred Light sword. Do extra smites created in such a way apply fissure as well?
I'm also still not sure about some ailment mechanics. Lets say I apply Timerot with Erasing Strike:
- Dematerialize (75% more DoT with ES) does apply to Timerot, right?
- Do Vengeance's "Abyssal Retribution" or Abyssal Echo's "Void Suppremacy" apply to the Timerot damage from the Erasing strike?
- Last epoch tools tells me that the flat + void damage (from Symbols of Hope with "Decree of Flame" + "Symbols of Despair") apply to Timerot, is this really the case, seems strange to me?
I'm thinking about starting Spellblade, but it'd suck if I play it and then it gets reworked in a season or two. Is the team happy with Spellblade at the moment? Or might it be due a facelift sometime in the near future?

Despite having the same name the text of the item tree version and Spriggan Form tree versions are slightly different

Hey guys! Quick question. If i take a generic 100% more dmg node in a skill’s tree and that skill triggers another skill, i.e. Multistrike proccing smite, does the 100% more dmg apply to smite too?
If a skill procc another "proper skill" (with a skilltree, like MultiStrike with Smite) , nothing from the proccer skill will affect the procced skill (unless its specifically stated)

It's not easy to tell at a glance but the general guideline is that if it's something you would expect to be able to find on a magic item, it will probably work. If it's any sort of special effect that seems like it was made for that unique, it will not work.

I'm looking at the "Grace" node in Smite's skill tree, which reads "Smite heals allies for more health", with the actual stat line reading "Smite healing: +200%" (at max points). I'm wondering if the increased healing from that node is additive or multiplicative with "increased healing effectiveness" modifiers / if it's internally an "increased healing effectiveness" modifier that's worded differently, or if it increases the base healing of Smite before increased healing effectiveness modifiers are applied.

About the new "Righteous Firebrand" Paladin node, which grants up to 5% fire pen per 100% healing effectiveness: does that penetration take into account the healing effectiveness that comes from skill trees? For instance, if I have 100% global increased healing effectiveness, and an additional 100% from Healing Hand's "Prayer of the Fallen" node, will my Healing Hand's damage penetrate 5%, or 10% fire res?

For example, Void Supremacy node in Abyssal Echoes makes the next Erasing Strike deal more damage to slowed enemies.
Since it is a target conditional effect, it shouldn't be inherited to any ailments applied by ES, right?

target conditionals do not work on ailments unless very explicitly stated as such. It is technically possible for us to do but I don't think we do it anywhere and if we did, it would not be on a common ailment like ignite or bleed, it would be on very niche ones that are only applied by the source that granted the effect.
I'm not familiar with that issue. If it's not in the patch notes you'll just have to wait and see. You can try running the game in borderless mode. That's what I would try first.

It's not fully random but yes, you do get your own reward. On average, the follower gains better but less specific rewards. Tell the leader to go farther out from the center to get better rewards. Personally I prefer being the follower. If you would like us to consider making a change, toss it in #1210282176680169562 . This particular system came about from an abuse case found by early testers where you would each get your timelines to the point where several high value reward nodes were prepared and then you would each go through all of the high values nodes passing lead back and forth. This type of unintuitive, burden of optimal play is not something we are interested in introducing into the game.

If you have 10% increased then the 10% reduced would be a negative from that but if your overall speed is negative, it just ignores that part

Hi mike, I noticed in last epoch tools, that the "flame burst" skill from the backfire node on disintegrate is not the same skill as the flame burst skill on the fireball tree.
Does this mean that the flame burst from disintegrate won't gain the fireball tree scaling that was granted in 1.2? If so, is that intended or is that an oversight?

Hi Mike. Detonating Arrow specifies it needs a bow and then Jelkhor's Knife says it no longer requires one. Heartseeker also says it requires a bow but Ravager's Heart doesn't specify this and seems to only change bow tag for a throwing one. So will you still require a bow to use heartseeker with Ravager's Dart, or was this an oversight in the item description?

Yes, it will give you some souls so you can do the boss fight. It's far fewer souls than if you actually cleared it though, so if you want to soul gamble, I would run it as normal. The portal charm is great for using it as a campaign skip on alts though.

No, it grants additional melee lightning damage equal to a x% of your current mana value. Your mana value is the amount of mana you currently have.
So more max mana = more damage?
only if you're at that higher mana value. if you have 0 mana, it does nothing, if you have 100000 mana, you get 100000 * x%. Your max mana is irrelevant.

3.: Some Skills A that trigger other Skills B state that the Skill B benefits from Skilltree B, but not from Tree A. Does this mean the default behaviour in Absence of this statement is that Skill B DOES benefit from both trees? Example: Flurry's Fussilade Node for triggering Multishot has the Statement, Multistrike's Hallowed Arsenal for triggering Smite does not.

Yes, if the scaling is relevant. For those two skills it is because they grant 4% increased damage per attribute. Stuff like devouring orb does not apply to ignite for example, since it gets +2 void spell damage per vitality, and ignite doesn't deal spell damage.

Dragonfire isn't an ability you can use normally.
Is the keyword there meant to be "use" (where "cast" on at least a few other sources does not cost mana)? Example: Smite on throwing hit idols say "chance to cast" and they don't cost any mana.

Battlemage's Endeavor also has that wording and doesn't consume mana, it's basically the only reason to use it
I'm comparing to something like Harbinger of Stars which both uses the Chance to Cast wording but also explicitly specifies that it consumes Meteor's Mana Cost. I think it'd be more clear if anything that consumes mana just says it outright.

So I asked Muffin and he asked internally.... im just dumb. The DoT portion of it is from the Incipient Void Bolt which are from your starting location while the abyssal echo replaces the terminal bolts which are from your end location, ie if you volatile in place you can apply both to 1 enemy. I see, because Gathering Storm is character skill and Storm Totem is minion skill. That's why I was wondering character freeze rate multiplier has effect or not since the Totem is casting a character skill, well technically.

CoF has more idol drops through ranks (better access to idols worth enchanting) and Rune of Weaving prophecies (more ability to immediately convert the Weaver's Touch on enchanted idols into affixes), but the enchanting craft itself isn't directly buffed by CoF ranks.
Hello, new here, I was creating a 1.2 lootfilter on the tools website, and everything looked fine but when I import it into the current 1.17 game version, the parameters around LP and weaver's will not update, and they are locked to 2 and 7 respectively, and they would not update to the numbers I want no matter what I do in game. Is it because the filter is not compatible with the current game version? Will this be resolved on launch?
Yes, the rarity condition was changed in 1.2 and the loot filter version was bumped to 3. The live client (1.1.7) makes loot filters at version 2.
Filters created with the game client will automatically update to the new version when the patch goes live. Trying to load a proactively built 1.2 filter exported from a community site that uses the new format will not work until then.

You guys have cooked in the last 9 months. BUT all that time, and 100 pages of patch notes and you miss the one thing we really need.. the loot filter rules needs doubling. 75 is not enough for serious endgame MG farmers. How did you neglect this?
If I buy some unique can be with garbage rolls on MG and If I switch to COF can I imprint these items or would they be blocked from imprinting after switching?

Hello, I’m a long-time fan of the genre. Here’s a bit about me: 5000 hours in D2 (always in the top ladder on HC), 8000 hours in POE1 (I know all mechanics perfectly, experiment with new builds, farming methods, and am always one of the first to kill bosses), POE2 (top 100 ladder), LAST EPOCH 600 hours (killed your new boss on the first days of release, playing at 2k+ corruption). Also, I am a Game Dev developer with over 6 years of experience. I have some feedback regarding decisions that were made in your game a while ago — conceptually, I don’t understand why they are necessary.
- You have two main factions: one is analogous to the SSF league, and the other (which raises my questions) is the trader faction with a market system. Here are my questions regarding this faction:
1.1) It's very inconvenient to navigate the Bazaar location to find the specific trader you need to buy/sell items. As a developer myself with years of experience, I understand that this might be due to technical limitations rather than intentional game design, but it still needs a major rework. All traders should be combined into one NPC so players don't have to run around a huge area — Quality of Life (QOL) is crucial for the gaming experience. This leads us to another issue: the Bazaar will feel very empty if there’s only one NPC left. You could further improve QOL by relocating that trader to the player’s hideout and eliminating the Bazaar entirely.
1.2) The inability to resell items seems odd, especially since we’ve chosen the trader faction. In practice, this faction feels like a slightly advanced version of SSF. More issues will arise when Echo Webs are introduced in Season 2. Why? Because these bring new crafting interaction mechanics. Let me explain with examples:
1.2.1) Suppose I want to craft boots with 3+ LP. To achieve this, I buy 6 or more pairs of boots with 1 LP from the auction house and then use the new Season 2 mechanic to combine them. As a result, I get 1-2 pairs of boots with 3 LP and one with 2 LP. In this case, I probably don’t need the 2 LP boots, but I can’t sell them to recoup my costs. My only options are to destroy them or sell them to the vendor. (This also negatively impacts other players’ experiences because if I could resell those boots, it would likely affect their market price, making it easier for others to gather builds and enjoy the game more.)
1.2.2) You’ve added the ability to swap attributes between items (though swapping resistances would also be helpful). Imagine this scenario: I can buy an item with T7 Intelligence (or any other attribute cheaper than what I need), change it to the desired attribute, then purchase a 1 LP unique item and combine it with my modified attribute. This results in a good item that other players may want but can’t craft themselves due to disliking the content or having weaker characters. A major advantage here is that it creates a way to earn money through quick Monolith runs and exploration. I can find various new webs to craft items that I may not need but that others do — ultimately, everyone benefits: I make extra money, players get cheaper items, and you benefit as people use your new mechanic more often. (Currently, I’m confident that once players have decent builds, they’ll stop using it.)
1.2.3) Consider the web analogous to POE’s Divine Orb. The same situation applies: I often buy items with poor rolls on the auction house to combine them and get better stats. If the resulting item isn’t good enough for me but still above average, I could sell it and buy two more items with bad rolls to try again. Or, if I’m lucky, I might buy items just for the thrill and resell them later.

1.3) Currency system — by currency, I mean shard fragments, runes, items that activate bosses, dungeon keys, etc.
1.3.1) Right now, you can obtain shard fragments from the auction house by buying items to break them into shards, but why rely on such inconvenient and clunky methods when you could simply allow direct shard purchases? Players accumulate massive amounts of unwanted shards during gameplay. If they could buy items from the auction house to craft them, spend shards, and resell them, it would partially solve the problem, but this functionality doesn’t exist. Introducing the ability to sell shards would add more fun because every dropped item, even small ones you don’t need, could be converted into gold to improve your build and explore more content.
1.3.2) Runes have the same issue, but unlike shards, they can’t be obtained through workarounds on the market. I might be incredibly wealthy but lack the required number of runes to craft certain items. Conversely, I might have too many runes with no use for them — I’d like to sell them. You also have a rune that turns items into uniques — imagine being able to buy them on the auction house and gamble for excitement. Gambling is essential in the ARPG genre.
1.3.3) There’s the Eye dropped by Harbinger, which serves as a key for the main boss. Many players dislike or can’t handle killing bosses — they prefer clearing maps. If this key remains non-tradeable, it will endlessly pile up for such players. What if they could sell it? For instance, to another player who loves fighting bosses and is willing to do it all day? Everyone wins: the first player gets gold to improve their character and might eventually grow strong enough to fight bosses themselves, while the second gets to fight the boss repeatedly without spending half a day running monoliths and farming lesser Harbingers for keys. Overall, ARPG games should allow players to repeat actions continuously without interruption because players engage in these games meditatively, focusing on one task. If they get bored, they can switch to something else, but the option to repeat actions endlessly should exist.
1.3.4) Referring back to the suggestion above, this also applies to dungeon keys — all currencies should be tradable.
In conclusion, I believe the trader faction needs a redesign. These changes, in my opinion, carry no negative consequences and would significantly enhance the experience in LAST EPOCH. Simply put, the current implementation doesn’t align with the faction’s name, and as your content expands, it will hold you back and create problems.

Experimental affix. Experimental affixes cannot be obtained as shards, which means that Experimental affixes are no longer able to be sealed.
Can experimental affixes still be sealed using the Warlord's Riches imprint on the weaver tree?(Champions sometimes drop a pile of items of the same item type that always have a sealed affix matching one of the affixes on the imprinted item)

the flat on that weapon doesnt give FW the flat for existing themselves. never has. some affixes minions just cant get

there was a engine upgrade during 1.1 and there are def some upgrades in the game (they showed off the new monolith areas already). i doubt everything got touched but some for sure
Did they also rework the networking stack? Last time we played there were significant problems with connectivity. Party play was rough and was practically unplayable if it was cross region. Similarly lots of issues with dungeons.

idk what those fancy tech terms are but they have worked on the network quite a bit since 1.0 and the last 2 seasons/resets were pretty smooth (tho player counts did vary so 🤷♂️ ). devs are as prepared as they can be

For example, the fact that we cannot search for a unique item's health value of 10-50 in the market for 45 and above makes it illogical to play trade faction. What do you think about this? I have question about imprint items in Woven tree. If you play CoF and have item with CoF mark. You imprint that item into tree. then swap into merchant's guild. will be the drop simillar to imprinted item CoF or it will be sellable thru Bazaar?

I don't know the cost off the top of my head. It's reasonable but constant respecing for new situations will be a waste. The cost is also kinda meaningless if you don't know how fast you can get it.

how does the dev team feel about allowing players to downgrade their game version in offline mode? would be kinda cool to replay old patches in the future but dunno how realistic that is
Why does Ballista gain both increased damage and attack speed per point of Dexterity, while other totems only gain damage and health per attribute point? Ballista also seems much easier to scale with critical chance and critical multiplier through gear. Last season, I easily pushed over 3k corruption with a Ballista build stacking Dex and Int, and it made Abberoth melt in under 10 seconds.
Do you think Ballista has too many advantages compared to other minion or totem-tagged skills? Even though I see it’s getting some nerfs this season, it still looks very strong and easy to build.
There are no item faction-specific affixes in the game. Both MG and CoF can drop or enchant any of the new idol affixes. The patch note is referring to more idol bases being included in prophecies (which can drop for players of either faction).
Those types of things are pretty natural extensions of the core gameplay.

Having a look at through threads and reddit, pricing your item seems to be a big barrier in using the AH fully for the MG faction, with a bunch of players doing lazy 1k gold on all item sales.
I'm not a dev so unsure about the difficulty of implementation but it could just open an AH window with auto-filled in info when you quick check an item.

It does use uncapped block chance, however if you have an effect which grants a guaranteed block which adds 100% block chance to your character sheet, that extra 100% chance will be ignored.

The shields from ring of shields do get the buff from symbols and they are not an exception. It just doesn't do anything for the ability cast when you have the immolation node.

Your hits have a chance to inflict enemies with Time Rot. Additionally, Time Rot deals more damage per 1% global chance to slow with void skills, more damage per 1% global Time Rot chance with void skills and more damage per 1% increased melee attack, throwing or cast speed, whichever is lowest, (all multiplicative with each other and with all other modifiers).
Mathematically speaking, where are the parentheses here in regard to the whichever is the lowest specifier? Does this apply to the attack speed and cast speed or does this apply to the three more damage statements in that list?

Please correct me if I'm wrong devs / Mike, but I'm pretty sure the "whichever is the lowest" is about the speed stats - you gain the first two "more damage" modifiers, and a third "more damage" modifier that's based on the lowest of your stats among melee attack speed, throwing speed, and cast speed.
(Also, if answering instead of devs is not allowed, please let me know and I'll delete the message. I just thought I'd help out)

Storm Totem is not spending Storm Stacks to cast Storm Bolts
It just cast Storm Bolts. So it doesnt benefit (and also cannot have ) from Storm Stack/Storm Stack generation
you can see it split up more clearly in game. the attack and cast speed only applies to the last part.

Good afternoon, I know questions about paragon types systems revolving around gaining passive stats endlessly post max level has been asked about before, but I can’t recall what LE dev stance was on it. So I was curious how LE devs feel about it and if the mindset has changed in the last while or so.

LE has such a good gear grind that i dont feel u even need a paragon system as there is always better gear more favor etc u get from playing more

There are plans to add new classes but not in the immediate future since they've stated that they'll probably do additional masteries for existing classes before making new classes.
Character customization has been discussed and it's not something they're against but it's not a priority nor planned as it does cost quite a bit of dev time since they'd need new models for pretty much all class specific equipment.

The Relic of the Observer only requires that the int/dex/str/att affix is non-sealed. Exalted attributes can be changed. Both the tier and roll range of the affix is preserved when swapped.
- If I use the unique with +2% Cold Pen with Shatter Strike per stack of bleed on you, does this count for frostbite applied?
- If I use the node in shatterstrike to convert ignite to frostbite, is this the same as if shatterstrike applied a frostbite?
- Does immunity to bleed at low health mean I cant get bleed stacks or I dont get damaged by bleed stacks?

The unique specifically applies bleed to you when you hit w/ Shatter Strike. Shatter Strike is not what is applying the bleed, the unique is applying it, so it should not be converted.

The cold pen per bleed is specifically about bleeds, so if you had frostbite on yourself, that is not a bleed, so would not apply.
Not sure about how bleed immune interacts with Diothaen's Bloody Nib. I would expect that to work the same based on however it currently functions with bleeds.

A question regarding arenas. The last time I played, nemesis, lizard, wizard, chests, etc could not spawn in arenas as far as I know (or at least was so rare I never found one). Has that been updated at all to make specializing in arenas in the weaver tree worthwhile? I did see that tombs can’t spawn in arenas so that’s one strike against an arena setup already.
I tested a couple arenas on the internal build and you can def get shrines, chests, exiled mages, and champions. I only tested a couple, so IDK if the nemesis or lizards can spawn and I just got unlucky or not.
I ment if the %cold pen i get per bleed does only apply to shatter strike hits or to the ailments (frostbite) applied by shatterstrike aswell
need to see if i can find those items in a stash i guess

Generally speaking, ailments are not considered to be part of the skill that applied them, so I would assume no.
The Knowledge of Immunity node in the acid flask tree states that if acid flasks base damage is converted it also converts to that penetration. Does it still check uncapped poison resistance or does it check uncapped resistance of the converted element? i.e. if it's converted to cold does it check your uncapped cold res or still check uncapped poison res?
- The penetration should apply to shatter strike and all its applied ailments and procced subskills (like the ice spikes) if it follows the usual rules.
- Yes, shatter strike applies fresh frostbites equal to the number of ignite stacks removed.
- iirc it means you cannot gain new stacks, so existing ones will continue to damage you, but you can't get any more of them.

Yes, they will be merged when you merge your previous season stash to legacy along with all other stash-wide data. There's a new confirmation modal in season 2 that will explicitly list if there are resonances being merged.

I know, that normal monolith progress will be shared, what about the normal blessings?
Can we get instant access to them once the character has access to the end of time quest for the monolith? And how good are they? Do we get the minimum roll on them for our alts?
What about the grand blessings? Are well rolled blessings still bound to each character and if i clear a timeline with my alt i get access to the minimum rolled grand one from my main after i completed it?

It's the same as live I think. You gain access to all min rolls of all discovered blessings on that stash. Greater blessings are distinct items from normal blessings.
Pretty sure both of those things are in the game. Some zones might have longer checkpoints than others.

FSR 2.2, including FSR 3, can be used in DirectX 11 games. So, it's still a good middle-ground to add or consider FSR for the future?
Oh yeah for sure. The thing about Direct X 11 is how it handles CPU load. It is a big thing in these games, and shaders aswell. On AMD there is quite a big hit in using DX11, not that it matters in this game alot, I am getting really nice framerates on my 7800xt.
DX12/Vulkan drivers are 'closer to the metal' meaning less work is done by the driver and instead more work is done by the game itself. As a result driver efficiency is no longer an issue as long as the game is properly written. AMD's drivers in DX11/OpenGL are supposedly worse-performing than their NVidia counterparts, meaning that when a game moves from DX11/OpenGL to DX12/Vulkan it actually has a 'handicap' removed.

Ya, that let's you customize what kinds of reward icons can spawn. There's filter buttons in the top right of the monolith screen that show all the different types. The weaver tree adds 3 new ones you can opt in to that don't naturally spawn and those nodes that ban certain types block the base reward types that they specify.
No, it says "When you use" so it only works for directly cast skills, because of the "you" part.
Also note that you have a 0 cost skill and some other effect (e.g. a Black Arrow from Dark Quiver) makes it "consume" mana on use, it is still a "0 cost skill" for the purposes of Sapping Strikes and Coated Blades, since "consumed" mana is not a "cost."

Fire penetration with ignite dosesn't give you penetration to non-ignite sources of fire damage.

yup, just gotta go into the launch settings in steam to start in offline mode.
"normal" mode has the option to play online or offline characters but with the servers down, none of that works right now.
You can still play pure offline mode though.

I currently own Woven legend and Abysall legend as well as ultimate edition. I hope the ultimate edition wasnt the abysall stuff. So am I then missing everything in Eternal and most of Abysall?

I look at best as the most fun and that is so subjective so my best build this season is going to be Heartseeker. I have been waiting for a skill like this in LE for years. It doesn't even matter if I can down uber abby with it or not, it's going to be lots of fun.

I really like it. It's basically like WASD was mapped to controller left stick. You can interchangably use WASD and left click.

Left click can be changed to "move only," "move or break destructable," or "move or attack" just like it currently can in 1.1.7. WASD is just a new binding set that adds move up/left/down/right bind options.

So there's no way to make it so left click doesn't move you? Because when using wasd you have limited keys to press. So you kinda need left click to function as an "attack without moving". Is that possible?
WASD is a very early beta and we're eager to hear player feedback as people try it out so we can continue to refine it. FWIW you're still limited to 5 skill binds with WASD so input modes have parity in player power so left click is mostly useful for interacting with things; I don't personally use it for attacking. Try it out tomorrow and if you feel the need to have an attack without moving option, please let us know in #1210282176680169562

When I trigger Smite through Multistrike, does it count as if I have cast it?
To clarify: do I get the bleed from "The Bleeing Heart" when Multistrike triggers Smite?
Answered in the Sentinel Channel: the bleed won't be procced as Smite isn't directly casted but triggered

you're probably trying to use a filter made for the new version of the game, which includes stuff that doesn't exist in the current 1.1.7 game client, meaning it just fails to load (assuming you made it using lastepochtools.com, if you made it in-game I have no idea)
So that means a new version was uploaded again from 11 PM last night until today? I didn’t notice anything about that. I only wrote the filter really late yesterday, and today I wanted to test it again.
