Why is rogue still unbalanced since beta? It was umbral blades, now ZHP ballista, shadow rend etc. Killing uber abberoth at level 38 is obviously not intended. Why hasn't EHG done anything to address this? What's the point of playing other classes if this one thing trivializes all content with sheer dps? Or is it just intended to play zero HP as high risk high reward?

If you're dying to Temporal Sanctum dungeon boss, Julra, right at the start of the fight, make sure you're using the dungeon mechanic button - default is D key or if WASD then B key - to swap timelines to avoid the big attack.

Yes the end of the Temporal Sanctum dungeon has an Eternity Cache that's used for Legendary item crafting. Combining Legendary Potential uniques and an Exalted item of the same general item base with 4x non-Sealed affixes. Such as 1H Sword -> 1H Sword. The subtype, such as Katana, doesn't matter for Legendary crafting.

Note that if you run Tier 2 or higher, you'll get 1x guaranteed affix transfer. You'll also need to check the required level on the unique. T2 can craft up to LP unique required level 65, T3 up to 75, T4 everything.

Yes you can do Temporal Sanctum dungeon in a group.

People use that Full Offline mode now to play when the servers are down for maintenance. Although note that offline and online characters are separate and you can't transfer them. So people usually play in one or the other.

Full Offline pros: can pause the game, no login server and no server downtime. Cons: doesn't have in game chat, no partying with friends, no Merchant's Guild item faction Bazaar - so just join Circle of Fortune instead, and no ladders.

It's definitely a bit easier than PoE. You can guarantee some things. Example. Crafting Legendary items involves finding a Legendary Potential unique and an Exalted item of the same general item base, such as Boots -> Boots or 1H Sword -> 1H Sword. And then running Tier 2 or higher of the Temporal Sanctum dungeon. You'll then get to pick 1x affix to be guaranteed to transfer.

But once you get into multiple Legendary affixes, then the others past the first are randomly selected from what's remaining.

There's not really a direct PoE equivalent, but I guess you can kind of think of it like 1x Recombinator affix of your choice but in LE one item is an unique.

But if one thinks you just join MG, play a meta build, and think you can "just" purchase the exact item shown in build guide - you will need a large sack of gold to do so.

Example would be if you're playing Rogue Bladedancer, if you want a good relic, shown as build guide more or less - you gotta caught up with 100+ mill Gold.
You can also settle for a relic with very non optimized stats for 8-10 mill gold.

This may just be for me and my friends, but in most cases, we purchase items that we can craft on, roll the dice and hope for a decent outcome, but it mostly comes down to that your Rune of Removal don't kill your T6 or T7 mod or your Havoc roll goes how you want it ect.

And last but not least, once an item is purchased on MG, you can't sell it again - so flipping items ain't a thing :)

Just my 2 cents on MG, and people having the "illusion" that its just go and buy your BiS gear, and beat the game.

Imo, MG is better suited for non-meta and the build tinkerer who likes to test drive diff ideas on the cheap.

Also, I find that MG is good for craft enthusiasts. Sometimes youre crafting to make a moderately valuable item into giga value. That crafting skill pays dividends when youre doing it even on pieces you don't need.

@grand atlas The bit about Reign of Dragons refers to how that Timeline can have echoes with a reward that gives you a random unique/set item of that type. But it doesn't mean that those items are only available in Reign of Dragons. If you needed a boss drop in that Timeline like Twisted Heart, then sure you could farm there and get some extra drop chances if you see those echo rewards.

But otherwise, both of those items are random drop items, so you could get them anywhere. Including from Rune of Ascendance and Circle of Fortune Prophecies.

Remember that your CoF Rank 2 bonus gives a 45% for Ascendance not to be consumed on CoF required items. You can add a filter line to highlight these. So I'd recommend that as well as running CoF Prophecies for the extra drop chances in a Timeline where you do want a boss drop.

Some uniques are made with 4lp in mind, their power budget allows for it. While others are not made with high lp in mind, and their power budget is made around that. the way that works is that it'll go into one of the prefix slots as a T7

but because channel cost is a very rare affix it has a super high chance to reroll the affix

you'll instead want to make an imprint with a common affix + an open prefix slot

so that you can craft on channel cost then havoc it to T7

Imprint just needs to be somewhere in between where it used to be and where it is now.

Where it's not too deterministic or market warping, but also impactful so that players can notice their choices actually making an difference.

It's clear people love imprints. It's a really satisfying mechanic to play with and this game usually gives a good balance between player influence and RNG.

I am having issues with a mage char on offline. The Enchant weapon effect seems to get stuck on one hand randomly and keeps flashing until relog. After awhile it seems to stack multiple effects and basically flashbangs me until i relog. Any one else getting this? It didnt happen on my online character.

Why do this and boast "build diversity" at the same time evades me with no iframes.

Set items do have just 3 different negative outcomes, though. So if you get that 25% chance negative, there's a 1 in 3 you get the turned into rare item negative outcome.

Hmm, I didn't try it with a rare, but I tried sticking a Ruined Set item into Great Bridge and it let me still Shatter it. You can also just use a Rune of Shattering on Reforged Set items to try and get some shards back.

I think you're mistaking the "make a reforged set + add an extra affix" for the "replaced with random rare" result

Set pieces as they are cannot have extra affixes added, so the main "positive" result on corruption is turning it into a reforged set item (e.g, an exalt with the same base + the reforged affix)

Once they're in this state you don't need the great bridge woven echo to shatter them, just a regular rune of shattering will do

Hey there! If this is a case, submitting an IGBR via F8 would be best to help investigate this. May it be right after a disconnect or if you think you will dc soon. Include info such as error names or frequency if possible.

If you've got extras, sure you could try it. It's of course pretty random what you get, but you might get lucky. I'm using a Corrupted Set Amulet and got pretty lucky with a T6 Health & Stun Avoid, T5 Health, and T7 of the Set affix. And a bunch of random other affixes that didn't really matter.

I got one, but it's again pretty random. A lot of the other Set stuff I tried corrupting didn't turn out as well. But it's really easy to get more with CoF Rank bonus dropping the entire Set and Set Prophecies, so I might try again later and see if anything else interesting shows up

Last time I got one of those, I went back to the login screen, picked a different connection server to use temporarily, and then I could play again.

Although it did mark the echo I had selected when that error popped up as if I had left the echo.
