the only reasons i can think of as to why your second character in a season would not be able to get a level boost would be because the campaign is great and its nice to see the work EHG put into it, and the other reason is that without the slower slog of campaign, you wouldnt feel your build getting way stronger.

it depends on how well you know, and what class, and if using legendaries and stuff. you can easily make it to empowered sub 5 if you stack it in your favor

technically you can be skipped to the end of the game anyways as they don't lock down teleports for the most part. Only issue is you might be way to under level doing mono's at level 10 or so

If a message gets deleted, you can always immediately use the** "undo last action"** key you also use in office/paint or whatever. For me in Germany it is CTRL + Z. I don't know, if this key bind is the same for every country.... but you immediately get your text back, like it wasn't sent. 😎

I feel you, and I respect this, and find it a very realistic and practical approach to the game.
And it's true that, at the current state of the game, itemization's impact on power is not even remotely close to that of the build per se (passives and skills interactions, intrinsic damage multipliers and synergies).
But again, I love when a game gives the feeling that you can keep growing, getting stronger and thus being "rewarding" even after you killed the final boss (in this case Abby). And, also, if we set the bar this low - killing Abby and 500c - then really we are just saying than anybody, with almost any build, can just beat the game in less than 20 hours and be done with it. And this last part - "be done with it", because afterwards there's nothing worth it- it's quite saddening, in my opinion. So I will do whatever I can to fight it. And this has been the major complaint since the dawn of times: "last epoch endgame is lacking, boring and repetitive, and most of all, not rewarding".
But we are also talking about the same game that markets with a "infinite scaling potential for difficulty" and "the hardest pinnacle boss ever seen in the genre". THIS has to count for something, no?
So maybe, if we allow items to matter, and to be an actual achievable experience rather than an infinite chore, than maybe we have more players willing to spend a bit more time for it, pushing corruption at 2k instead of 500, and instead of just copying a build from one of many youtube guides, actually try to push it, improve it, and be happy with it because they felt part of the engineering part. And maybe they spend a couple more weeks on the game after the season releases.

And that's why, if as a community we insist a bit on pinpointing the unhappy parts of this specific endevour, maybe EHG listens.

Its the runemasters hydra summon? Ive played that on my first and only real char at release. It was strong, had nice use of visuals, but gameplay wise? If you care about actively dodging/moving around more, then it was good. Youplace hydra and then run circles basically. If i recall correctly

Just to give a bit of a detail, approximatively 1 in 30 2xT7 procced form a perfect imprint with 30FP (/177 or whatever permutation you need) is gonna end up on a 2LP unique at Julra. And this is after you crafted and wasted on average around 35 runes of havoc. And to proc 30 imprint drops you need about 150 troves (without counting imprints from mobs which definitely might make it a but easier) which makes it a total of 525k memory ambers 😂
this is an approximation because it's kinda hard to calculate perfectly every chance to consume FP when crafting, especially if i start adding the imprint procs that fill the empty affix and thus require a potential FP drop from rune of removal.
But yeah add to this what you need to create "the perfect imprint" and the farming and cycling of the uniques for the wanted 2LP plus the time needed to far mthe actual memory ambers it all sums up to this: TOO MUCH.

In my calc I also counted the chances to reroll for the procced drop

The warpath void knight build I am using calls for using the Grand Heart of Ice (+44% chance to chill on hit) blessing instead of Grand Bulwark of the Tundra (47% increased armor). Is chance to chill on hit really that instrumental in increasing damage numbers? I would have thought the gains in survivability from the increased armor would be more useful.

Chill shouldn't increase your damage at all to my knowledge? It's just a nice survival tool because making things go slower means you get hit less often

If you could link to the build there might be some deeper reason to why they want chill as opposed to armour. But yeah by itself chill doesn't increase your damage, it just slows the enemies attack/cast speed and movement speed

Playercount right now doesn't matter as it's several months from the league start. Low player counts is normal between seasons like this. Even PoE and Diablo see massive fall offs between seasons. The big monetization points are always at the start of the seasons, sadly there is a massive amount of competition and only so much money to go around. For a lot of people times are tough right now, not a lot of money to spend on cosmetics in a game.
