Glyphs of envy no longer give stability. They've been reworked to have a different effect. There's a new item (temporal keystone) that does that instead. Can drop from harbingers and sometimes in monoliths.

You've probably got a few gazes from killing the timeline boss; you'll need to push far enough out in your current timeline untill you have a node that lets you fight a shade, once you fight and kill the shade it'll increase the timeline corruption.

Hey so I completed the campaign on my main, how do I skip the campaign on alt. I read something about Dungeons but people had different answers on reddit. I have Dungeons keys but which one do i do in order to skip the campaign?

You just skip through parts of the campaign, you will get to a fork in the road during the campaign several times where you can do the dungeon or the main quest

the dungeon gives you idol slots and passive points so you don't need to do all the side quests

Best way is go to act 3 normally, grab all side quests but don’t do them yet. Skip through lightless arbor, boss is level 20, easy with twink gear. Get to act 7 either normally or through fire dungeon. Once in act 7 you can get all idol/passives so most people grab them all then go straight to monos.

Then on your alt you can teleport straight to age of winter, do it, go to empowered. All harbs/factions carry over

That’s how I do it anyway, usually get an alt to 50 in a few hours

1. Very few people care about the campaign. Most just rush to finishing it, and stop at low CR.
2. Retention is worse for S3 than S2, but that was expected. S3 just didn't generate the same amount of hype and it really didn't have content. But the dropoff happened before PoE dropped. Showing (again, it's in the comment below) that for the most part, the two camps have found their homes, and the overlap isn't as fatal anymore.

If EHG doesn't put the campaign to the side at least for now, the game will lose a lot of people within the year. It can always bounce back with a banger patch, so, it will not die. It cemented its position. My prediction: EHG will do this, because they have Krafton to answer to. It's all good and smiles, until you have 3-4 patches where you barely see growth, and then the hammer is dropped. Naturally, some departures will happen, just because it's natural, but if Krafton doesn't see results anytime soon, they'll become more hands-on, and some of the key people in EHG strike me as very passionate, and with their accolades, they will probably not choose to stay. But this is just one possibility, we'll see; and then we're in trouble. I genuinely believe LE is the way it is because of how smart those people are. Blizzard, in contrast, is very democratized (to a fault), and everyone's opinions get baked into the game, sort of. EHG being a smaller team, losing a key player would be a huge hit.

But I don't get (well, I do, but you know, can't write that stuff) this thing with "LE is doing bad" - LE is performing exactly within expectations, given what they put out 🤷‍♀️ -- I'd categorize the patch as a "cool, this happened, I'm happy it did, game still feels like the good 'ol LE, now can we get some actual content?" type deal.

I disagree with you on S4. I was saying the same about S3 - that EHG should start a campaign of toning down expectations for S3, that there's no way they'll replicate it, and so on. They should've done it, imho. We don't know what S4 is yet, but there's an underlying issue to the game: relative to PoE (and so, what I think the expectations of most ARPG players are) and games in the genre, there's very little new things to do, and there's no way a patch will solve all that.

Imho, we're like ~1-1.5 years away from a proper 1.0 release. In my mind, we're at like 0.6.

You are correct. From my observations (no hard data) and things I heard from devs through the years and so on, most people follow a build, they don't come up with their own. So, of course, this type of engaging with the game cuts your total time by like at least 5x.

In my opinion: keep the same thing, just don't disrupt the "Progress into Reward" loop - have an Uber boss every season, and make sure it can't be cheesed. Even if it's 1/5 of Uberroth. Just give people a problem to solve. Make sure all that grind is for something. Well, I agree. I was saying that there's one more benefit. Well, calling it benefit is a stretch. The Uber-MMO-like-I-have-to-strategize-and-also-farm boss every season doubles, triples, quadruples down. There's practically zero downside to it. Even if the boss is small, it solves the issue of "the hell am I doing all this for?!", and it creates this flow of farm for gear for my build <-> attempt the boss and strategize that feels really good, which culminates in you feeling like you actually accomplished something, which is the core of any interaction.
