use "handle x" and "handle y"; iirc, to centre a frame for a fence, the handle x value should be (w/2)-8 (where w = width of the frame), and the handle y value should be h-4 (where h = height of the frame). if this doesn’t work how you want it then you can always experiment with the values; adding to handle x pushes the frame to the right, adding to handle y pushes the frame up, and vice versa.

I'm very confused about the code of the new version of the rectangle plugin now. How can we add night scenes to the plugin? I tried placing the plugin images from two angles in one image, setting "w" and "count", and adjusting the y value to position the night scene image correctly. But they don't work. The night view is correct from one Angle, but the y value doesn't work for the night view from another Angle. Step 1: Download a baseplate of your choice It is recommended to keep it small if you are just starting.
Step 2: Download a pixel drawing app. It is recommended that you get one with layers and transparency options. You can find a list of suggested options here
Step 3: Here are some tutorials that show how to make a house. One by Theo and one by Kulche
Here's a tutorial by rtobby that provides tips on improving the plugin quality
You may find more tutorials in the getting started page and on the forum
And even more tips pinned in plugin discussion
Step 4: Last step is to create a json. You can create one by using PCA or use this tutorial here to make one. To make one manually, you can use any text app which allows you to save files as a .json
Feel free to ask for help or suggestions on the forum or on the server

Bonus step: Once done, you can upload your plugin on the store which once approved can be downloaded in-game by anyone or post it on the forum showcase or both! Remember that store plugins must oblige to the store rules

use "handle x" and "handle y" when defining your frames. when both values are at 0, your image’s top left corner is positioned at the leftmost point of the tile (see image below; this is also true for any size of tile).
now every increase in "handle x" moves your image to the left of the tile by that many pixels, and every increase in "handle y" moves your image up the tile by that many pixels. this also works the opposite way, and of course you can have negative values for these.
with this in mind, you can open an image editor and drag your image to the 0,0 position and shift it to where you want, measuring the distance between the two and setting the "handle x" and "handle y" accordingly.

How does the influence-monthlyprice limit work for non-square buildings? On the Desmos file it seems to only show the limits of square tile sizes (1x1, 2x2...). So do non-square buildings use the same formula but switch the last two values for the width and height, e.g. a 4x2 would be y=min((10*min(x,100000))/(4Ā·2))? Or is it tied to an equivalent square base, e.g. a 4x2 would be treated as a 4x4? Or something else?

Yes you can do this with compositions, but also there’s a way to make the process a whole lot simpler when defining the composition, especially seeing how complex your interchange is.
So, you should download the Plugin Creator Tools plugin from the store (it’s free), then restart and you should see a new category called ā€˜DevTools’. Click on that, then on the ā€˜Composition extractor’, then select your interchange and voilĆ ! The code to define it as a composition has been copied to your clipboard and you can paste it into your code (make sure to define an id, title, text, and type though)

Hmm unfortunately it seems that the composition extractor has a limited range (10x10); so you can still use it but it will only get part of your interchange. So the rest you may have to define by hand, or you could use the composition extractor on the other parts and shift their x and y values and connect them appropriately in the code

Is the Mew's Advanced Road roads broken for someone aswell? Mine, cars are driving on the wrong lane in all '1 lane' roads. Like, in a road that there is only left lane one way raffic (or should be), cars are driving in the wrong side (in some cases in the two lanes)

they load alphabetically. if your building loads before the zone it wouldnt work

if its in one json, your zone needs to be defined first
if you have more than one json, you need to be careful in naming so the zone loads first

(turns out i had a folder for the zones and other one for the houses...is not hard to guess wich one was alphabetically first.That was probably the problem)
