It depends on the style you want. For a more realistic look, you should lower the transparency of the windows and consider creating a structure behind them. This will help simulate the depth of an office space in the building.

Another option would be to give it cloud reflection (which is what TCPS does in its buildings).

If not, just leave it like that and adjust the shadows of the roof and the lower structure.

Btw, keep in mind that the building slightly shadows the lower structure too.

About the split, if you have everything separated into layers it's not that difficult.

For example, the structure in front is 2 * 3x3, the ones on the sides are 4 * 4x4, 4 * 2x2 and the center 2*2x2, no?

After you have all the IDs defined in the json, with compositions you make the final structure, remember that it "needs" to be rotation aware, so remember to flip horizontally the building too, to get these frames.

It will seem like a lot of frames but It won't affect as much as you think in the plugin space.

The bad thing is that I had to make them with Lua, so they are draw as an overlay on the screen, since in the initial version it was a frame on the map, but I could not control the movement, and being so erratic it did not look so good, plus it was necessary to assign spawn point and all that.

On the other hand, the version with Lua is a little more “ optimized”.

This is the version with spawn point that does take into effect the frames on the map, but the movements are erratic.

But in some urban areas they are green

You should make a red version too. In many places it is painted red or orange-ish so that it is more visible so people don't drive over it. The green ones are mostly used in lesss busy roads where the visibility of the lane is not a priority. I'm not exactly sure if that's how it works but it's what I know.

Doing the last tests of screensize and cloud generation before release

It already has a scale adjustment according to your screen, day/night cycle, and limits by map size so as not to saturate in small maps, but so that large maps have more clouds.

The outline of your base is not the same of your roof.

Which could be acceptable in certain cases, but you would have to correctly define where you make the transition of the shape.

Also the shadow of what you put on the roof is at the wrong angle.

I recommend u to check World Texture so you can have a look at the dimensions, game design style. And thus see a reference of what you want to do.
