I think this technique has a lot of potential but it doesn't preserve to well detail, obviously because you literally downscale an image, so is key to actually put as much effort in including elements to decorate the building with or it will just look uncanny.

so it's not a lazy path to take, it has it's challenges and also, @unique pivot something fundamental it's to get a lighting setup that matches the game look
