@normal pilot When there's a fire, press the "!" icon and a menu will appear. Press the fire truck icon and tap on the building that is on fire. A marker will appear on the building. After that they will go to the location with the marker and put out the fire.

Hi guys. Just purchased the game on PC. A small gripe I'm having is when placing down roads, zones etc. There's an infuriating bug where the confirm/cancel box jumps off screen from just out of view, to needing to zoom all the way out to find it half a mile outside the map.
Annoying to say the least. Is there a keybind which I can just press in place of this so I don't have to go box hunting every single time I want to place something down?

I just got the game on steam and it crashed multiple times today.
Also, when it does crash, Steam thinks that it's still running and I have to force close steam in order to get it to realise that the game isn't running.

Just seems the android version lends itself towards some forward planning. Placing down something like a power plant and have it just be there seems rather shallow. It would be nice if it's like the mobile version where things take the time build.

Well I'm using the base tutorial level as an example. So I dunno. In the PC version it's all instant. In the android version I've just downloaded to get my fix, it takes time. The same game, slightly different.

I know a little bit how to play with money but still prefer being free of building my city without worrying about requirements ( money isn't really an issue for me it's mostly requirements bc I never know where I have to place my police health etc )

Idk if it has something to do with gems like bc the android version is free you have to pay everything with gems whereas the IOS and PC version you don't have to
So bc the buildings are being built instantly you don't need to pay gems to fast forward it to have the building ready

I have a question, so i can't satisfy the demads of my city, but they are weird, like, i have demands for por residentials and comercials, but there are buildings of that type that aren't full, also the demas move like crazy so... I started thinking about the dynamics of the zones and buildings and the question came into my mind, does the buildings and zones have an effect range? Like other buildings like fire station and so.
Also, do you know the relationship between the demads? Or like the 3 types of buildings. For example: for every 1 residential, there has to be 1 comercial and 1 industrial. Or for 10 comercials, 20 residentials and 5 industrials

Demands do change a crazy amount. But then that always was the case for Maxis Sim City titles as well. So many factors go into it such as Police, fire, medical and education coverage for improvement. And pollution, traffic, landfill, industry proximity to residential etc for negatives. From that it determines the quality of the zone. It's this quality that drives the core of the demands. But also drives the speed in which population rises, and thus the demands for the other zones/services/improvements too. Therefore I would say there isn't any direct relationship ratio since they're always changing based on the factors that come into play. Whilst they're probably is a base stat ratio which could be (for example) 25 residential, 5 commercial, 1 industry. It's not going to remain that way once you start putting down tiles.

So I just googled and apparently the average width of a 2 lane road is 6 meters while a 4 lane road is 12 meters, a single tile in theotown is 12-13 meters so roads should be 4 lane not 2 lane, the cars are massive.
