if you dont get hit at all you could one hit every boss and enemy, starting with gauntlet to clear out enemies and on last room get lucky enough to get a hammer, possibly save like 5 minutes

And if there are significant run differences in different patches then seperating them is also good. Mind you this is rarely just the speed of the run. Its typically related to big strategy changes that make the runs fundamentally different.

In the rules for %100 is says all fish. But its mildly pointless since you can buy all of them once you get all the holy talisman pieces. All recipes would make more sense but most automatically unlock just from having the ingredients.

personally I don't like that every doorway has a "load" it's a lot more work for us to count those and overall I don't think they're contributing to the final time in a meaningful way
We just got the patch and I want to see how runs are affected by the Golden Fleece patch. I know it might be slower, but until routes are figured out and we can see how much of a difference there is, it's hard to say with 100% certainty that we should split up the board by patch. The major reason I'm hesitant right now is console would be excluded from a down patch board.

Personally i’ll be against godhood. It only adds beating the bosses hitless, and catching the swordfish. Sacrificing 10 followers just adds another thing with a cool down that forces the run to take x days.

Fishing also isn’t a problem to 100%. Basically everything can be pushed off till later if it needs to be so there’s less rush to get a fish for a fleece and we’ll wait till ocean’s bounty to get the rest.

It says on the warning that either you run out of time or you die in a dungeon
The amount of time is pretty generous, almost nearly a full in-game day on easy but you have about half that time on Extra Hard

Remember you can stack the glitch more than once for more consistency at the cost of losing maybe like 2-3 seconds
Just open the 2nd door, do the glitch, open another door, do the glitch again.
Just pay attention to how many followers stay when you do the glitch since that's a close representation of how many you successfully duplicated. You need 5 to remain in place for you to open all doors in a single try. I've gotten several times where only 3-4 stayed so I am required to do the glitch a 2nd time to unlock the last door.

You gotta make sure the other file you open first has been set to easy difficulty first. Can't just load a new save that hasn't made it to the difficulty selection and then go into your run save cause the default run difficulty is medium

I mean getting golden fleece early is the big thing. Other than that, it doesn't matter much at least in speedrunning. The teleport glitch that lets you do early midas also go to any other area early (supposedly, I can't imagine it not working).

Yeah, it is a fast acquire, but it is possible when running with new patch that other fleeces are viable (or even fleeceless)

I think maybe fleeceless is the way to go just from trying the 200% capped one, but obviously needs a lot more testing. If u can keep the 200% uptime constantly it might be better still but idk seems not plausible to keep up constantly :((

like you can click the link, which will open your steam client with a console tab open. Type in the thing and it will take a little bit to download the stuff into a folder which will be printed in the console as well. Then you just start the .exe in there and it'll run the downpatched version

Its helpful against stuff like splicing. If you really want to run your own stuff, there's software like voicemeeter banana that would let you (possibly?) Run music on a different, not recorded channel. Idk if it works for this game specifically, though
