Yes! They are actually not dead~
SO what you need to do is fight them on the crusade three times in the same crusade
The first and second time you 'kill them' they will disappear, but the third time you will take their sin and return them to the cult

Just asking as I fixed my problem but has anyone else have the issue of the game running at like half speed? The music was fine but any actions weather in game or menus was slow and the camera view was always jumping like it was trying to catch up. On steam and verifying files didn't work but uninstalling and reinstalling did fix it. Also submitted a bug report

There is an ongoing bug for Switch and I think the other consoles where it has that mark, but nothing to click on. It's a visual bug that is just annoying till they are able to get the patch through

Should be a butchering option and I dont think you need a doctrine to do it... but there is one that'll make it less frowned upon while doing it called cannibalism under the food tree

Woolhaven makes a duplicate save in case you want to preserve the version of your save pre-dlc
The Yngya statue should tell you this, I think?

It's only because the most of the game's debuffs are a chance on hit. There's only a couple of tarot cards that guarantee debuffs on all hits, like "The Arachnid" card that grants poison damage over time on every attack from your weapon.

Guys, please help me with a problem with the Twitch Integration. Is there any way to see which of my followers once used to be a quest NPC?

I've been playing about 160 hours of CoTL and have decided to 100% complete the game. I've done quests with all the bishops and need one last relic - Narinder's Claw. This requires I complete Narinder's questline.

I have about 215 dead followers and thanks to the Twitch Integration, this can also change the appearance of even the NPC followers. Thankfully they at least retain their quests. My problem is that I don't know how to figure out which one of the over 200 followers is Narinder. Do you guys please have any tips for me?

Is there perhaps a way to see into the game files and maybe find a unique ID associated with Narinder's Follower or something like that? :(

I managed to figure it out. Turns out Narinder has a special ID of "666" in the game files. I looked up a Save File Decryptor and tried looking for said ID. Lucky for me the ID was saved to a specific follower. I tried resurrecting him, and turns out it's Narinder. So I managed to find him. Hooray!

You just have to keep on progressing in Ewefall. Don't go back to areas that you've already completed. The cutscene should come up in one of the new areas eventually. Also, you don't have to hatch the Midas Skull Egg right away. You can store it on at your cult's HQ indefinitely until you're ready to deal with him running around to steal your money. It won't rot from neglect from not being patted in a nest like with normal or golden eggs.

You have to walk around Woolhaven and talk to all the residents to get the hints of where they are located to open up the means of acquiring the pieces. No intro talk, then no start. It will be highlighted in a different color when they respond to you. Make sure to pay attention to that text. Good luck! 🍀

Once you get them fixed and accept the quest to use them from Rami's board, then it will force itself for free so you can finish the quest. After you complete it, you can pay 40 Wool to get it to come up on your next crusade run. Always make sure to check Rami's board to ensure the quest is active, otherwise your run with the newly unlocked legendary weapon will not count.

Now that you got Narinder back, you just need to wait for the moment where he wants to talk to you to request that you bring back 10 of the things from each biome as reminders of his past. Once you've done all 4 fetch quests, then he'll give you his claw as thanks for reminiscing. 👍🏻

Check your settings to see if you have it selected to favor swords in the "Force Weapon" section.

Otherwise, I'm not sure why it would favor one type of weapon so often like that.

Hmmmm... Might be a minor bug and worth reporting to the devs to let them know it's going on. It's best to report it from within the game rather than on Discord or Reddit so they can inspect your game files.

The only other random thing I can think of is that your game file integrity might be out of date. Typically, doing that will resolve a lot of minor bugs on its own for any game.

A lot of it has been resolved over the patches. But if nobody says anything about it, then of course it won't get fixed.

A while ago I found a source claiming that you can sacrifice the pilgrim dlc characters (Yarlen and co) at the spirit shrine if they bug out and their quest will just repeat. It's been a while and this hasn't happened yet. Anyone know how I can get them back without restarting my save?

So to do that, you have to find the two wolves in the heart rooms in both the rot and ewfall
You have to keep encountering them after you beat the final boss, and they will give you the quest to go get the fishing rod
Then you get the fishing rod from the fish guy at pilgrims passage during winter

My main source for them are offering statues. Just set up a ton of them in the corner of your base and followers will leave a bunch of useful stuff there for you

Automatically. And you activate Woolhaven on game at your convenience once the 4 bishops are done. You can now unlock the first three locks on it as you discover the items needed as offering, giving you access to one or two perks

There are two ways, one is like what Rat said
Go to appdata - locallow - massive monster - COTL - Saves and grab your save there
Then you would move that onto a drive/folder and download it to your new PC and drop it exactly where you pulled it

Rename this removing the %GameInstall% so you are left with just save_meta_0.mp and it will look like the files in the previous AppData folder, which you just then replace by copy paste

You can use the money ritual to get a bit. Offering statues sometimes give some. You can refine nugget into coins. Other than that just crusade and let things build up.

Condemned Followers are re-obtained from newest to oldest of when they got it, so if you collected the first follower, then Heket should be the next one unless you condemn another one

No, you didn't. Heket will show up. Beat Heket three times in the same crusade. Same thing happened with me. After, I suggest you use the pride ritual to target someone else and reset everyone's sin counter to 0.

In woolhaven you can get (golden or normal) skull necklaces by ||going to the sacrificial altar to the far right of woolhaven town during a blizzard and sacrificing an animal||
its not the fastest but you may as well do it alongside doing purgatory and/or devotion harvesting

In the accessibility settings, turn on Infinite Health. Go in with the Berseker fleece (since you can't die) and start running through. I prefer the boss purgatory over the normal purgatory. Also, recycle EVERY weapon/curse in purgatory. It grants one tear God fragment.

Build up your hearts prior to going into the fight, do sermons, eat food, various things to boost your health. Then spend the first half paying attention to his patterns, dart in and take hits, then back out again
During the second half, break the structures that impede your movement and if you can attempt to break the bomb ones in time with him attacking you, the bombs will hurt him

This is actually untrue, you can obtain the staff from wearing one of Ratau's Cloaks and talking to Sariel and he will give you Ratau's Staff

Im on a PC also and I have 100%. It says the same amount of achievements as yours 37/37 and the godhood is the only one you're missing. It has to be a bug. Most of the bugs will be solved just by closing and reopening the game. If it doesn't help just report your bug in the game and/or in bug-reports chat

Steam achievements and the games own are different. You should have all steam ones (besides the godhood, cos the bug). The games own precent meter doesn't really show your progress or give you any new achievements icons. And purgatory is bonus 10% so you can get your game to 110%. And you can also have 100% on steam but the game in the menu says you don't have 100%. It's a bit confusing

So I looked it up, it looks like you need to get as close to 100% as possible, including getting all Follower Forms, Fleeces, Tarot Cards, Relics, and Non-DLC items

So a friend and me are playing the game via remote play together to play coop. It all works well if we just start the game from steam. However, we wanted to play with mods and I don't know if modded remote play together works or not but so far nothing worked for us.

We've tried with Thunderstore but even with all mods disabled, only BepInEx enabled, when I try to connect via remote play to my friend who is hosting, I just see a textbox saying that the host is busy and the background are grey boxes. Whenever we play without mods from steam it works normally.

So we've tried downloading the mods manually so we can start from steam. This time, I did see the game when I connected, but only for a short moment and then the game crashed. Soo is it just not playable with mods or are we doing something wrong?

Personally I always vouch for the hammer. Slow wind up with big damage. Get in, get one or two hits in, then keep dodging. My recommendation is the tongue attack

I prefer dagger. And it's gonna be a slow fight. She has couple moves and half way trough she yeets away and you'll need to deal with two mini bosses. So i would say dagger for speed. Attack, dodge, wait for her jump/attack, dodge back and repeat.

Make sure your device and game is up to date. You might also have too little space on your device for a new save. If all should be okay, try reinstalling the game. If it still doesn't work report the bug in the game and/also in the bug-reports channel.

Considering that is on the Woolhaven 'save', you could go the scorched earth route and restart your woolhaven
On the main menu, you have the option of choosing either your woolhaven save or the one that was created right before you began the DLC

(WOOLHAVEN SPOILERS): ||Is anyone else having trouble with the Marchosias fight? Specifically that phase where he starts shooting lightning? I'm trying to actually get good at fighting him because it's not my first time but I feel like every time I get to that phase the game turns unfair. He'll start the lightning attack mid-cutscene so I can't see that he's aiming at me or about to shoot, and when he starts shooting multiple lasers I don't get a chance to process them at all since the second the warning marker shows up the laser shoots.||

||Usually I'd just tank the unfair hits but because I don't typically start the fight at full health (i suck at ewefall in general and tend to start the fight at low health because I was trying to get cards and stuff) I end up taking a bunch of damage at the start and end up getting one shot. It's really frustrating. I didn't even have this much trouble refighting Ygnya, and I found her fight initially more difficult out of the two||

dagger's heavy attack can do big damage, especially to big bosses :)
also if you ||stand above or below them, they struggle to hit you with their quick fire spit attack, it can only seem to be shot horizontally||

I actually had more trouble with this guy post-game than any other boss due to their massive health pool

plus eating a food so you get 1 blue heart before you fight and having 3 demons one to get spirit hearts, one to find you new hearts/heals, and one to shoot the boss so you can roll around more and still damage him

He had his own cult from the One Who Waits, with a church and followers and everything
the One Who Waits even says "allowed my Temple to descend into ruin." which means that he abandoned his cult after the sacrifice of that follower to the Fox
We've seen what they go through in the crusades, finding burned villages and broken lives, and if you've ever left your own cult alone too long you know how quickly they die
He left the rest of his cult to starve, defect, or just die

Personally I find the heart room more often in Darkwood
But if you are rocking a fleece that effects your health like Berserker, Fragile, ect. I believe it alters the spawn just like how you wont get Tarot Rooms if you wear the Fleece of Fates

iirc you don't get kallamar's ear from defeating him, ||you get it from a conversation he has with you as a follower, before he tells you to demon him up and bring him to his temple for the purified version||

breeding followers is a good way to get golden egg followers (up to 4 traits), if you have the sin (or the commandment that lets you get the sin refund) it's usually better :)
unless you want specific traits you don't have on a follower to pass it down
in woolhaven you can: ||use the exorcism altar to add, remove and shuffle traits.||
