atp if you think/know they're solo just hold up the body to wait for the revive while burning them (there should be a perk that just enables you to 'execute' people or smn so they have to be physically revived, solos can't self revive afterward, but teams still need to be burned, top tier solution really)

There are two factors for your MMR, your performance and the confidence the MMR algorithm has with your performance.
Your performance still seems to be based on your kill/deaths, but how much or how little is based on the MMR algorithm confidence in you.
The confidence algorithm basically see every kill/deaths you receive and compares it with your overall history of kill/deaths vs. different MMR.
So if you keep killing 2 stars, the game is confident you are better than a 2 star and will promote you to a 3 star, but if you keep dying to 4 stars it will not have confidence in you, even if you have a lucky streak killing ten 4 stars in a row and try to keep you in 3 stars.
So basically, the system tries to estimate your skill level and where you belong rather than a hard +/- MMR game.
Over time, if you keep winning to against 3 stars and starts to have a even fight with 4 stars, the confidence algorithm will promote you to a 4 star eventually :)
Hope that explains it somewhat, but keep in mind this is how the system is described and we are unsure on how much or how little the confidence algorithm affects the MMR gain/loss.

Wrote this a whie back, tho note this is based on the info given and official and still should be considered as guiding concepts over concrete facts.

If you play solo you can see how fast your team mmr is can be manipulated by deaths, kills and inaction

For some reason even if you neither kill or die it can made it drop right now

Mmr used to be strictly based on kills and deaths, with modifiers if you're in random team you'd have slightly less mmr. The solo modifier used to be strong and you'd meet very low mmr people but that got quickly abused by derankers and content creators

Solo still allows that in my experience, rather in seeing the 5/6 stars when I've been consistently 2/3 from the start

and 1 stars in some cases as my team or in other teams

The game wants people to play so if your region and game mode is low populated it will throw in people from any mmr to give you a game.

6mmr purposely having losing streak to enter lower mmr lobbies is a pain. 6mmr don't move nor aim like 3-4mmr do. It's plain annoying and destroy completly my willingness to continue playing the game. I just keep getting massacred by way skillful players because they are matched up with lower teammate, they completly wipe up the server that way. It's frustrating and make me want to simply stop playing. I don't mind losing matches but against equally unskillful foe not pro twitcher.

Fair nuff, usually people don't play duos bc they think the mode is too campy and it is easier to keep track of people in trios.
The thing is, duo used to have 5 teams instead of 6, that 6th team made it too likely for your team to get 3rd partied, so the game-mode became slower and people shifted to trios.
So what I fear is that if we up the team size in trios too much, it just gonna turn into duos in regard of the reason why people hate the mode.

That said, for me, I wouldn't mind an extra team in trios (4->5) and one less team in duos (6->5), think five teams on the map is the golden number :)

I think its a hard balancing act.
Short of forcing solo to queue into solo, duo to queue into duo and trio into trio, you run the risk of having 5 teams on the map. 2 solo and 3 trio, as an example.
Frankly, I wish they could do something about the camping playstyle, but im aware thats just a preference and we can't dictate to not play a particular style.

my duo experience was just constantly dealing with the 2nd teammate running away like a mf and waiting for 3rd parties so he can res his teammate. instaburn is mechanically stupid in stalemate trios, but its one of the most effective ways to stop that obnoxiously common play atm. something most people dont notice

You way more often got 3rd partied, so people started to play more passive bc they didn't wanted to be caught flatfooted.
Basically, you cannot afford drawn out fights, because there will most likely always be an additional team nearby.

i burnt myself the fuck out the last time i "tryharded." it upped my win rate past 80% without relying on meta guns

it was not worth it in the least, constantly mosin fuckers and rats

all that effort and it amounted to... a temporary gain in wins, and ill inevitably die to a rat when i get impatient again

a rat gets higher than 50% win rate already with 1/10th of the effort

Thing is that 3-slot shotguns are fine balance wise, issue is more the 2-slot shotguns got hyper-psycho-buffed, somecase, the 2-slot version of a shotgun is almost the same as their 3-slot variant.
So because of that, a lot of people started running 2-slot shotguns, which in turns means that people answered that by running shotgun themselves.
Basically rn, if you not running shotgun, you shouldn't go inside compounds.

I joined the hunt community during the murder circus event 2024 and think you would agree with me if i say "it would be a fantastic opportunity knowing there is a way to find extremely desired mythic weapon/tool skins in game"
Imagine having a opportunity to get brand new mythic weapon/tool skins from extremely rare to find blue prints that you could find in hunt. However you would need to extract to keep the blue prints (same as the golden cash register). You can use these blue prints to purchase mythic skins in the black market (a separate shop from normal store).
How would you hunters feel if this would be part of hunt?

I'll still give you some feeback on why I hate it:
1: It pads matches with more downtime gameplay, nudging players to run the bayou dry after every server wipe with no gameplay to find blueprints.
2: It is a "gameplay negative" addition by being lost on death akin to golden register, people who finds them will not play the match with more intense fear of risk, they'll just run the safest route to an extract and now the match have one less team in it.
3: Mythic skins implies limited runs of FOMO, which only made worse by the fact that obtaining them is completely RNG. I am tired of telling excited new players that "you cannot get that skin bc it is from an older event", simply anti-consumer.
