Title: New Map
Description: I have a new map idea inspired by a mix of Stillwater Delta and Mammoms Gulch. It will take time for me to fully iron out and explain but it would be a map that has a full cave system underneath connecting each of the key areas but the doors are locked from the inside at all entrances, meaning either noise or poltergeist is needed for entry.

With this is would also be suggesting new barred doors specifically for this map. Metal doors that can not be meleed to destroyed. They have to be blown open with explosives or poltergeist. In the underground areas there would also be lighting similar to the sporadic lighting of compounds. I plan to begin drawing an overview as well as basic layouts I have in mind.

Title: Anti-Shotgun Ideas / Counterplay Concepts

  1. New Consumable / Tool: “Silk Wrap” (Silk Bandage / Vest)
Instead of giving players permanent armor, this could work as a single-use consumable brought into the match, similar to an Antidote Shot.
    How would it work?
At the start of the match (or at a boss compound), the hunter wraps themselves in reinforced silk layers.
    Mechanics:
It would not make the player tanky or unkillable, but it would:
  • Reduce buckshot and Compact Ammo damage to the upper torso by around 15–20%
  • Completely prevent Bleeding caused by buckshot or DumDum ammo
    Balance / Tradeoff:
  • It only absorbs the impact of a single shotgun blast before the silk tears apart or burns away
  • Takes up a valuable consumable slot
  • Completely ineffective against Slugs and Long Ammo
  1. New World Spawn Item: “Dr. Goodfellow’s Vest”

A rare silk vest that can be found around the map in places like Arsenals, Supply Points, or compounds such as Our Lady of Mercy.

How would it work?

Similar to Gun Oil or Blueprints, except this would be a physical wearable item.

Once picked up, the hunter gains temporary resistance against buckshot damage.

Balance / Tradeoff:

  • Cannot be repaired
  • After being hit by a shotgun, the vest is destroyed and disappears from the character
  • However, it could save your life by reducing lethal close-range damage
    • Example: instead of taking 150 damage from a point-blank blast, you might only take 125 damage, giving you a chance to fight back
  1. New Trait: “Silken Weaver” or “Iron Silk”

A more expensive trait (around 5–6 Upgrade Points) inspired by the discoveries of Dr. Goodfellow and Casimir Zeglen.

Mechanics:

Shotgun pellets receive a reduced damage multiplier against the hunter’s body.

If a shotgun user does not perfectly center their shot, the outer pellets lose effectiveness as the trait absorbs part of the spread damage.

Visual / Audio Feedback:

When a shotgun hits a hunter using this trait, instead of the normal metallic impact sound, a distinct muffled fabric-tearing sound plays to indicate the target was protected.

Title: Kill Cam enabled Post-Team Wipe (AND the Ability to Report Cheaters after watching)
Description: I've had a lot of Suspect Deaths. I'm not that great of a player, but I'm pretty sure I've been walled a few times for burning too many bars from an opposing player.

Title: Add frogs and toad sounds to night maps.

Details: Add frog/toad sounds to randomly changing parts of the bayou on night maps. Make them loud so sound checkers have an issue hearing steps. They could be randomized so its not always the same location but always near water

Title: Silent Locked Extraction Point
Descriptions:
When you go to any extraction point right now, you get that powerful "impact" sound and starts extraction countdown at this moment.
This is fine when extractions were around only outer edges. But now we have a middle one, usually locked. It's bit annoying when sound is extremely important but this locked extraction making sound everytime you pass it.
Make it so that locked extractions do not make any sound, actually not even show "locked" label because it will not start countdown anyways.

Anyways, that and selecting any objects like sound traps (crow/duck/horse) they all starts with this sharp staticky sound along with the camera shutter sound.
After that annoying and technical sounds are basically all gone in this game.

Title: Rats noise traps
Descriptin: Just like we have Crows, Ducks, etc., groups of Rats would be a cool noise trap (and would really fit the Hunt aesthetic).
Adding them to spots where people often rat in (pun intended), would be cool. They'd make loud squealing noises when disturbed.
