Here's the dev stream on the Rule of Two btw, Dennis clearly states that while trios offers advantages such as more firepower and higher chances of survival, the rewards you can get are the same as duo bounty Hunt and you can still only loot stuff twice, thus having to decide who take e. g. an ammo box.

I think it is worse than just bland. "Solid" has a very modern adjective usage... It's poor slang for the game's thematic and era.

Victory - eh... it just isn't fitting. Mudering your competition to claim a bounty sure doesn't seem like a victory in my mind.... It seems like survival and that was a lot better captured with the old phrase.

The change makes the game break that 3rd Wall and acknowledge that it is a game. "You emerge victorious!" is better fitting an open-competition where the competitors are out to defeat their rivals. Not extract with a bounty & their lives.

I am willing to give the other changes a chance. I don't love the beetle. I am upset about some of the trait adjustments. I don't think the changes to the prices of a lot of the guns were a good decision. But like. I'll try it before I criticize too harshly.

But I draw the line at the extract text. This pop up was part of what hooked me on the game originally. It's badass and atmospheric. You can convey your additional information below it (not that it's necessary when it's all in the UI and post game lobby anyways!) without removing the iconic "You Live to Die Another Day"!

It’s a problem but bugs don’t get fixed overnight. The LeMat turning into a laser tag pistol and single shot reloads have been squashed twice yet they still seem to pop up. Programming is not as simple as “just fix it”

I feel like unique voices for Legendaries could massively backfire... not only possibly getting a voice that doesn't match your imagination of the character persona, but also just getting terrible corny dialogue. Next thing you know Billy Story is congratulationing you on a "Solid Victory Bruv".

Windows 7 already had issues a while ago and would only work with a specific security update while vista and xp wouldn't work at all, so even back then when that issue popped up Crytek didn't really "support" windows 7 but people got a longer grace period thanks to the security update from microsoft's side

@signal mural Bounty pick-up used to be anonymous in the beginning, it just showed "Bounty is on the move, track it in Dark Sight". The devs changed it to allow those players who get the bounty a little fame by revealing their names to any in the match.
Back in the days that was rather controversial since it was bad for the immersion of being a nameless, desperate hunter trying to make a living in the bayou. Of course we've gotten more and more info ever since through features like the death screen and more other things that show players' Steam names.

Personally, i'd like at least an option to go back to an anonymous version that doesn't show other players' names or maybe only the hunters' names instead of Steam names.

Yeah, seeing which Hunter name picked it up could be cool - but that'd benefit playing a non-Legendary hunter (as then you don't know who you're looking for). Granted the names can give an occasional laugh but it's usually comes off as unnecessary info or in worst-case scenario gives minimal info to calculate engagement. Ex: "Wallbanger68+1 has picked up the Bounty." Oh - they got it last match and sprinted to the closest exit, better rush 'em. Or they Fanned me last round better keep it at range. Etc etc

I heard you are reconsidering allowing reshade. Please, Hunt colors look disgusting without it. Its only a strategic advantage in a sense that you aren't looking at just a bunch of brown all match. You get some green and some red.

In the end it would probably be that you just take once and you have to trust that the lotto is played twice and has given you the higher result. yeah one of the filters seems to be disabled now which is good, but you can certianly make beetle vision a lot brighter with reshade

FMJ actually had some very good anti-camping mechanics built in. I do this a lot with Sparks Pistol with FMJ. You jiggle peak a corner and wallbang through corner. This helps clear people holding angles for days.

Personally, I usually lurk and refrain from blasting feedback good or bad particularly for a game, time can be spent on lots of other stuff, but man… this game is bumming me hard right now.

I’m old school, I grew up on Quake, Unreal, Red Faction, etc… real skill and glorious communities. It’s been a challenge to find a game even close to that feeling, last time I approached it was with BF3/4 but all good things come to end it seems.

Hunt has been filling that void in my gamer heart for 900 hours so far, but I’m afraid I sense the end of that too.

I don’t think I’m crazy when I say that everything is pointing to the corporate leadership getting ready to make some real polarizing decisions that will not favor lads like me or those who like the game for it was.

Seems like they’re about to pivot towards whatever they can do to attain wide mainstream accessibility in aspiration of Fortnight or Warzone.

I hope I am wrong I really do. My wish for right now is that they would come out and address us with an actual honest state of the game discussion and be completely real with us regarding the plans they have.

Of course, I send 3-4 tickets about polish translation before to the support and these bugs are still in the game. Just few examples:

In settings: Control scheme - Schemat kolorów (what means scheme colour)

Weapons: Vetterli Silencer - Tłumik do broni Vetterli (what means silencer to vetterli - translated as weapon attachment, not as weapon variant)

Traits example: Hornskin what is translated as a trait which reduce ALL melee damage (instead of just blunt damage)

Bulletgrubber as Szybkie Ładowanie what means Quick/Fast reload.

Its just few examples, it's ton of errors. My bad English is much better than polish translation. @sharp veldt

It also makes camping easier because you can fly around while camping to have full coverage of the compound. 150m range is ridiculous last match i played i got hit with six beetles while pushing campers from a team that never pushed the compound and ran off.

Max-height beetleing has very few counters. The beetle is near silent to the people on the ground, and hard to hit due to the size and distance and whatnot.

Buckshot (and flechette!) is a decent counter, lol. Like shooting clay disks out of the sky.

I'm not a sure if the question should be about beetle being a needed addition, as it simply is just another tool to be used in a sandbox extraction shooter. I'm indifferent to the addition myself. It's sometimes fun to use, sometimes infuriating when your teammates start roleplaying drone pilots and refuse to do anything.

You said hit them with a beetle to make them bleed and be poisoned then push. Antidote shot keeps you from being poisoned and it takes 2 seconds to stop the bleeding. You wouldn’t even make it into the building before the bleeding stops. He also has 2 teammates to fight the two people pushing because your not at the door flying the beetle in.

Beetles breaks stalemate by giving you openings in pushing & getting ppl out of the corners.
