using garuda linux, I opened one terminal, ran sudo systemctl stop usbmuxd and sudo usbmuxd -f -p
in a second terminal, watch 'lsusb | grep -iv " hub "'
in a third terminal I ran export LIBUSB_DEBUG=3, then sudo ./palera1n-linux-x86_64 -vVf --cli When that got to the - [07/03/24 15:25:06] <Verbose>: DFU mode device disconnected output, I pressed ctrl+c, then ran sudo ./palera1n-linux-x86_64 -vVf --cli again. It will stop printing stuff to the terminal after it gets to "Booting Kernel ...`, just wait and it should boot

left is the third terminal, top right is the second terminal, bottom right is the first terminal

if it gets stuck in a mode where the light on the front is flashing very quickly, that means it's in dfu mode, if it's flashing maybe twice per second, it's booting
if it's flashing super quickly, run sudo irecovery -n and wait patiently until it boots properly

Got these on eBay. Works great for having your Apple TV entering DFU mode. Literally all I did was connect these cables to my Apple TV, ran the palera1n command, and it was good to go within 10-15 seconds. They let your Apple TV enter DFU mode automatically.

If you do get stuck and want your Apple TV to exit dfu mode, disconnect the cables.

It won’t leave dfu mode until the cables are disconnected.

The last github update I ran in the app removed one of the channels I use. So, I didn't update my other ATV yet with the github links so the channel is still there. standard, once installed, you need to hold the button down for 12 seconds during power boot
