i was told to go here for help i needed asap so hi , i downloaded a tweak (i don’t remember what it was) a while ago and it for some reason turned all of my screen black , i resorted to just restarting my phone thinking it would fix the situation. once i had restarted it my phone screen was back to normal but my checkra1n app was nowhere to be found and all of the apps i had downloaded through cydia INCLUDING cydia wouldnt open , this is a big problem because i cant use certain apps because my phone is still considered “jailbroken”. i honestly just want to jailbreak it again and get all of my cool tweaks back but trying to re-jailbreak it doesn’t work for me :/ would the solution just be factory resetting? please help!

My dad said finally he will force me to bring the phone to apple, and if they say they want me to do anything thats against my wants, such as things listed above, we can reconsider going elsewhere. I dont know if i have an aftermarket screen because i may have had thag replaced. I have read the apple care terms and found they may ask me to update, or they could wipe, replace, or even force an irreversable update. With that being said, i tried to show testimonials about this from abc, louis rossman, and other big name repairs. They will not listen and say that the better repair shop is a second resort. Is there anything i could do phone wise to make a solid backup, going as nitty gritty as folders in my root where i hide things like passwords, and possibly save my phones state and tweaks? I have cydia updare errors already but those seem mild compared to this. What should i do?

No sir. They are indeed shady because A. Most people will not think to review their Agreements and morally (legally its non holding) they screw up by hiding the changes they plan to make. They also falsify errors and issues, with obvious proof of it circulating online, to make money, and they often make replacements on minor issues that any technician outside the ecosystem could repair in less than a day. If thats not shady, that what is.
I understand we arent taling a level of shady like buying expensive clothing second hand and meeting in a dark secluded alleyway to pick them up, but its still to some degree a messy process that leaves me confused why they cant get technicians at their places that use their brains instead of dumbing out because of something that could be as simple as a loose cable and saying the entire unit has to be rebought
This is the level of shade like that of that one abc sting for the plumbers that lied about issues to replace a tank with a loose nut.
