Doesn't matter much it kinda depends on your current case cooling configuration

If it's intake then cold air will flow from the bottom over your GPU then CPU

Since your mounting it on the bottom I doubt it makes much of a difference

Usually people make it intake since they don't want hot air from the GPU to flow over the CPU before being exhausted if that makes sense

That's of course for top mounting

Kinda the opposite for bottom

Either way I doubt it will make much of a difference either way

I get weight savings. and I guess if your not using them. It's a weight savings. But like the weight of those buttons are very very minor. Especilly if they're on the same side.
And we're talking a traditonal shell, so it's not like it's the super, ulra, most lightest mouse.
But that's just me on my soap box.

viper v3 pro still has the 2 side buttons and is quite light so surely those buttons can't weigh that much

It depends. The worst implementation of side buttons was the GPW.

They have 2 very bulky frames for each side AND bunches of magnets.

It sounds cool, in theory. But in practice the buttons are mushy and feel very odd to press, it even gives a lot of extra weight, too.

I'm pretty sure Razer is far better than that. Giving the GPW is quite famous alongside the GPX (which has way better side buttons and frame).

removing the the side buttons probably saved them about .2 grams of PBC/cable. Not having the buttons saves them about .1 gram of plastic.

like the people who really want to save .3 of a gram. They're probably going to take the mouse apart anyway. and drill out half the bottom of the mouse. ANd half the shell, and will throw out side buttons if they don't want them. And swap the battery out for a smaller, lighter battery.

Hi, I recently bought the Razer Basilisk V3 mouse, and have used it for a couple days with no problem. Today, it kept disconnecting and reconnecting, afterwhile it would not connect at all. I tried plugging it into another laptop, but it would also not connect.
I have: plugged it into different usb ports, unistall and reinstall razer synapse beta TWICE, updated my drivers. It showed no rbg and wouldnt connect. Please help.

Battery life stabilised. initially I lost 10% in one hour at 2k hz. Now same setup and 1% was lost in 3 hours.
Stuttering in Valo was fixed with Rawinputbugger being turned on.
