hey guys, just bought a razer seiren mini, is there some way I can reduce the amount of background noise the device gets? I turned on the listen on this device from sound and it picks up the voice of a car that is passing through even lol

So at work we have 3 Razer 17 models. 2x 9th gen intel model and a newer 10th gen intel model. Now I am ready to order a newer 12th gen intel model but something is bothering me. Namely the keyboard LEDs. I expected a premium laptop having premium LEDs but all three of our Razer laptops have burned out keyboard LEDs. Is poor keyboard LED quality still a thing with current models or have they been improved? I own a 15 year old MSI laptop and it's Steelseries keyboard LEDs are still rock solid. So I know it is not a fluke with a single batch of LEDs on a single laptop and I know LEDs should be able to last a lifetime even with extensive use. So talk to me Razer! What is the deal? plz

Well since we have multiple generations of Razer blade 17 laptops with this problem. From at least 2 different batches. I would say that it is simply Razer opting for a cheap brand of LEDs. I had to turn off the keybord backlight to stop it from getting worse. It is seriously un-cool. Not what I expected.

Here is an image of the laptop I work on which is the newest we have. It is maybe a year old and already has broken LEDs

I am telling you that these laptops have a serious problem. I don't really care for fancy RGB color themes underneath my keyboard, so I am still willing to buy another model. But with the amount they charge us for these devices I expect excellence. This is not that!

I would like to see more users to come forward and make this issue known to to the public.

Hello! I own a Huntsman Mini Razer keyboard, and I just started my PC and it is not working. I be been using the Keyboard for about a month.
The lights are off, Razer Synapse is not recognizing it. And yesterday, after I plugged it again, it barely started and worked properly.

but sometimes it happens that it slides a different color from left to right for some reason, is it an indication of something? like a notification?
to see if it was normal or not, I closed and opened GX, it didn't happen anymore, so it seems as if GX was trying to notify me of something but I couldn't figure out what it was

Pro lighter but ultimate has left hand button if you used them ultimate better if not pro lighter. I normally use 3 buttons two upfront and two with thumb plus wheel. But they have other mouse that moved to left button up front it's great option for extra button

Anyone use the Razer Thunderbolt 4 dock with an external display on a non-Razer Windows machine?

Connecting directly to TB4, no issues running a DisplayPort 1.4 monitor. Connecting through PC —> dock —> Monitor however, shows “Incorrect version”. Same cable, tried multiple different adapters and cables as well.

(Works for my MacBook Pros)

To report back, got it working it seems… just kept swapping between cables and adapters… tons of em and got it working randomly. I think it may be a length issue, the added length between the PC <—> dock <—> Monitor

So satisfying, now the only thing I have plugged into my Windows desktop PC is power and Thunderbolt! 🥳

I would say that depends on whag feature set you want.
If you're combining all brands together. Openrgb is good for a lite overhead software. For using your full customisation on your razer devices? I would pick synapse and avoid heavy chroma profiles.
Project aurora I'm not familiar with but I imagine it might be similar to openrgb or signalrgb

Yes and no, a collab phone was suggested to be in the works. No idea if it's hit the market yet, not a Razer phone but a Razer edition of another phone (I think it was poco?)

Support isn't the issue when 8000Hz mice in general require a lot of CPU usage just to run regardless of title. Any CPU that isn't as good as say a Ryzen 3600 or Intel 10400 desktop skus at a bare minimum, I am quite aware that stuttering starts to happen in games.
This is why I almost always ask what cpu someone is using, and it goes double for laptops that generally need to be a decent bit better to run the 8K mice too

For a vast majority of Viper 8K users, switching to 1000Hz polling fixes the stuttering as the load on the CPU drops significantly

I just wear them normally how you used them a few hours at a time or untill the battery dies. The only think I have found with all hardware that has recharge battery sometimes if they don't charge an old cell phone slow charge and leave them on charge for 24 hours slow charge helps get them working if not used for a few years and battery were deadxa Long time

Check out razer insider they have a few technical Support on site but really not helpful I had to contact software team when I needed help. They found problems in code had to investigate hacks or why the problem happened last time I had problems. But best option report to tech support website they can log information into razer network.

Windows could have made a change after they send update all kinds of strange stuff happens. I watch for new firmware or software. Soon synapse 3.0 should report firmware or software updates

I know when company went to court they had a hard time explaining to judge why they report software updates and not firmware updates so they are working on equipment updates for all hardware world wide.
