I am in the UK
In terms of budget I don't mind paying a permium for nicer switches etc as I don't have too many I need to install.
I intended to use an Intel NUC as my hub as I have a few lying around (not sure if this creates problems or limitations)

also just realized I need to check if I have a neutral wire running to the switches.

would you recomend getting a hub that works with those rather than just using a NUC
