so, a few things to consider. AMD vs Intel. Almost everyone would recommend amd over intel atm (but you probably know that already). If you don't care about many threads intel 10600 might be worth considering tho, I it's slightly faster single core afaik

@tepid roost I would say, get a i350 t4, they play well with passthrough. Also check out your boards passthrough groups and if it does vtd and vtx.

That's essentially the point of this build plan - breaking apart existing stuff to merge into one after the situation changed with now permanent WFH vs. the original home office + office-office.
