So far I installed a lot of Shellys in my home and installed Tasmota on them, got a Conbee II Stick and get rid of the hue bridge. Got MQTT thermostats going and so on... Right now I am a little bit stuck. My wife asked me about a bunch of little led lights in the home that are battery powered and have a switch. so I have usb-c, thunderbolt (mini dp) and hdmi 2.0 on a machine... and I want to connect it to a 4k120Hz display with only hdmi2.1 input
I find usb-c to Displayport Adapters which support 8k/60hz (and thus - 4k120hz)
but I can't find Displayport to Hdmi2.1 Adapters (hdmi2.1 needed because no other input, only > 2.1 is capable of 4k120hz)
ok I just found one but it's 65€ :/

do you guys know any adapters / other ways?

I've been mostly a lurker here soaking up a lot of good information, but after getting my HA instance to the point where I feel like i have most of what I wanted, I'd like to give back to the community in whatever way I can. I wouldn't classify meself as a HA expert, but I've created a few integrations and have a reasonable amount of experience in configuring various integrations and devices.
