They told me two days ago that it's a crash issue of unity and the developers of SL needs to fix that. I can't do anything to fix it. I've already tried all the troubleshooting.

It's one week from now that I am trying costantly to play but crashes on startup.

It's likely ridicolous that a fix is not implemented yet.

I believe brave browser is truly the best in the market currently. In-built ad and tracking blocker, uses less resources than Microsoft edge somehow, and is based on chromium so you still retain the same compatiability like any other chromium browser. If that is the case, that is indeed a merit that holds weight over any other browser, I admit. Though one must consider the circumstances: The conveinence is a bit too hard to ignore, despite its monopolistic characteristic. I would wish Firefox would somehow be able to get their own browser engine that they are using on a competitive level to chromium, but until the Mozzila Foundation starts trying to truly focus all their power in achieving that state rather than having their Chief Executive Officer take more dividends than they probably deserve, it is but a dream as of late.

Chromium in itself is not supposed to be bad at least, it is open source after all if I recall.

If I remember correctly, it is merely that Google is its biggest contributer. Why would they not be? They rely on Chromium to actually have any browser at all to be fair 😅. And in that case, of course, everybody has their own uses cases and a browser they prefer to complete all their internet related tasks in. My original comment stating Brave being the best in the market in my opinion stems from said browser at least being the best fish in this one-sided sea, though I can agree to Firefox at least being a close second unless you would like to convince me otherwise.

Linux mint does take that spot, and yet the Windows population barely decreased at all. Windows, unfortunately, has an almost uncontested monopoly on the laptop and PC market. The only way to ever convince even those people to maybe come over to an operating system such as SteamOS is if SteamOS could somehow be Windows but better, I believe.

I agree. Though Steam could force even the hands of those games to be more open to other anti-cheating solutions if Steam could convince them that their operating system would be too popular for them to ignore.

Why I also said that if a concept such as SteamOS would actually become a reality in the distant future that they have to compete against Windows or they would just have no chance at all in convincing anyone else than the gamer population in converting to them.
