Please only fill this in if you have opted in before 17th December and haven't received stats for an account you expected to. If you opted in after December 17th it may take until December 22nd to arrive, so please hold off until then.

Hi everyone, I’m Mod Gengis, the Product Manager overseeing improvements for both our mobile and desktop clients.

Over the past few months, the team has worked hard to create a mobile update that not only appeals to its current audience but also resonates with the wider OSRS community. However, after additional rounds of testing and QA last week, it became clear that we weren’t fully confident in releasing the update. We uncovered some usability issues and missing functions that, while small, could impact the broader audience we expect the mobile client to attract.

Simply put, the Mobile Anniversary update needs a bit more time in the oven, so we’ve made the decision to postpone the release to November 6th. I understand this is disappointing, and on behalf of the team, I apologize for the delay.

We didn’t make this decision lightly, and we truly appreciate your patience. I believe in the potential of the mobile client, and our goal is to continue delivering quality updates that ensure a strong experience and a thriving mobile community.

Some items had been incorrectly appearing on the ground in League Worlds. Unfortunately, the fix to wipe those has affected some other ground items - we're looking into it. We're sorry for the inconvenience, and will reach out to those impacted to resolve the issue.

We're also aware that some players in main-game have lost dropped items. We have fixed the issue and it is now safe to drop items again. We will work to return lost items to players affected. You won't need to reach out to us, our systems are able to identify those impacted.

Known Issues:

  • Some players are finding themselves stuck on the Region menu and unable to select an area for their first unlock. - Your first unlock will always be Karamja, so if this is your first unlock, please try selecting Karamja!
  • We've seen reports of some player character models missing their jaws. - WORKING ON HOTFIX
  • When you switch to a Leagues V: Raging Echoes world, the text mentions Leagues IV: Trailblazer Reloaded instead. - TO BE COLDFIXED
  • Some items had been incorrectly appearing on the ground in League Worlds. Unfortunately, the fix to wipe those has affected some other ground items. - We're currently looking into it. We're sorry for the inconvenience, and will reach out to those impacted to resolve the issue.

  • Players report issues getting stuck in certain locations (e.g. Upstairs at Varrock East) when using Clue Compass teleports - HOTFIXED
  • We've hotfixed an issue where players were receiving Dark Kebbit Hunter Rumours despite not being able to access Dark Kebbits. If you currently have one of these rumours, you'll have to reset it at the Hunter Guild to receive rumours you're able to complete.

📜 Minimenu - With NPC Tags enabled, it is now possible to reorder Tag and Tag-All on an NPC.
🔨 Minimenu - Construction ops in your POH are now reorderable.

Your device should automatically update to the new version, but you can check the app store if an update is available to nudge it along.

📢 PSA: Players using RuneLite may find some item teleport options are pointing to the wrong place, including the Wilderness. While we're sure RuneLite will develop a fix for this, we advise disabling Menu Entry Swapper or using the Official Client in the meantime.

Update: We have also identified a similar issue, where teleports are pointing to the wrong location when using our game clients, too. We are investigating a fix but recommend that you teleport with caution for now.

On 10 July 2025, outside the US and Eurozone, the regional pricing of Bonds will be adjusted. There will be no changes to the price of Membership.

We regularly review pricing to ensure relative parity across markets in the interest of preserving fairness across our global communities. This means some non-US currencies will see a price adjustment that brings the relative price of Bonds in-line with the relative price of Membership. This change will restore relative parity in this ratio across regions.

In addition, from 22nd July 2025, state-specific tax will be applied. This will only impact a minority of players based in the US - those with a recurring agreement in an eligible zip code will be emailed this week.

Doom boss hotfixes deployed: 🚨

Orb projectiles are no longer nullified when entering the blue shield phase

Beam charge during the melee punish phase can no longer be interrupted by grub damage - this should prevent Doom from starting a melee punish and unexpectedly switching to the blue shield phase a few ticks later.

Holy Water effect now consistently triggers when killing the boss during the melee punish phase.

Surviving Grubs now de-spawn as they did prior to Wednesdays update.

Doom boss hotfix alert: 🚨

We’ve fixed an issue where midair projectiles during Doom’s melee punish phase could trigger an early phase transition.

Doom’s transition to shielded phase is now triggered by his attack timer instead of on-hit. To avoid instant phase transitions, he will also wait for 2 attacks after the last orb phase before triggering the shield.

Additionally, Doom can no longer heal unintentionally after firing his beam.

We’re conscious that this could remove some nuance from players at the deep delves - it's something we’ll monitor and see if it can be addressed in a regular update.

Our estimations for downtime needed to return all lost XP were incorrect.

Rather than keeping the game offline for all players for even longer, we will be shortly bringing worlds back online. Some players will find they have not yet had all of their XP returned. We will instead process these returns while the game is live, and each player impacted will be force logged out of the game. If a player is in combat, you will be able to continue playing, but will be instantly logged out once you leave combat.

We heavily advise that players do not engage in dangerous activities during this time. We are prioritising HCIM accounts first, and will inform you when we're finished with our work.

As a temporary safety measure, we have disabled access to Tombs of Amascut and Theatre of Blood.

We're aware of an issue which has resulted from recent engine changes to fix boats getting stuck. Currently, boats are bypassing collision checks, so the game will teleport you to Port Sarim as a safeguard.

We're working on reverting that change, which will require a reboot with no downtime.

We'll send out a 10-minute timer today, once we are ready and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.

📣 We've deployed a hotfix to allow the captain of a boat to trim their own sails, regardless of their Sailing level requirement. This change has been made so that players can use their sails in situations where they have boosted their Sailing level higher to build the sail. 👉 Moving your facilities shouldn't be frustrating. Facility Bottles will be purchasable from Shipwright Seb for 75,000 GP. Additionally, we'll be making them more common across salvaging spots and adding them to Merchant Shipwreck loot tables.

👉 The 'Empty Containers' button will also work with worn containers.

We'll aim for these changes to release next week, pending testing.

From April 9th (or your next bill date after this), the price of Memberships will be changing for 12 Month Memberships and 1 Month Memberships.

Your price will not be changing if you are actively on a Grandfathered rate monthly subscription (any subscription started, sustained and in active use from before September 27 2024).

New Membership subscriptions will be available at the new prices as of today, March 10th. The price of Bonds will also be adjusted in line with 1 Month Membership prices.
