Danzig/Gdansk was from back then when it was just being started, so everything was placeholder, brecourt was rather tough to fight over and people barely were able to cross towards the Guns.

Like this game is the clunkiest, new player hostile, unintiutive game I have ever seen

Why doesnt bandaging work with leftclick? Why no UI hiding/fade of friendly/enemy icons when ADS. Why no standardized !wkm on every server (why is it sent in all chat, why are commands sent in all chat?), no hotkey for deploy, No You - Foe stats, No Gui for kill stats, no possible customization for servers to show kill distance, weapon etc.

No Auto-Appearence to auto adjust for all roles. No proper premade appearence for snow/desert automatically for new players

No proper tutorial, No Auto-Squad that puts you in Squads that lack the Role you choose when you arent in a squad.

Like... why does nobody think of QoL in this game? I dont get it. It doesnt take me more than 200 hours to come up with that.

The XP update with suppression was one of the best things they could do

sure its less realistic to have a tracker for when youre suppressing the enemy, but it makes MGs feel more fun to play and like youre actually having an impact

Note: for the German the fallschirmjäger uniform can be wear with any type of helmet, except waffen-ss camouflage and military visor cap/cap and also you can play it in any role since they used any type of weapon on the battlefield. For the US paratroopers you can use M1 Thompson/Garand and M1A1, same for the British. The only class that you can’t play as a para is the AT class since there’s the Rocket launcher.

I don't think the PTE changes so far will make it any more lucrative/important role, nor it will encourage the people to wait for the medics more either.

But the new UI to see if somebody is waiting for us to be revived or not, is going to be useful. They just need to make it more visible.

SQ44 has a pretty good system to encourage waiting for a medic (at least that's how I remember it) - the duration of how long the downed player waits, that exact duration gets subtracted from the closest spawn wave timer so it pays off to wait. Because afterwards, a player is able to spawn on a spawnpoint instantly, right after getting to the deployment screen.

SQ44 also uses tickets system, so there is a bit more encouragement to wait for the medics even more because of it - not encouraged much during the round, but definitely when the ticketsCount gets to low-enough amounts so everybody starts feeling the fear of defeat and every revive counts.

Yep, about a deeper injury system - imo it would be nice if hitting a leg would have some effect (like sprint disabled) and hitting a hand would have some effect either (no ADS aim or much larger recoil / or even stronger sway while ADS)... for instance. The player could bandage himself to stop the bleeding, but the effect would stay until tended by a medic. Would have nothing to do with encouraging the people to wait for a revival, but still... I would take it too as an addition.

But damn... stop a fall injury from causing a bleeding pls 😄 . (there for example I would make it to cause a temporary disability to sprint... for like 20 seconds, apart of the health loss)

If you have the Erbsenmuster you can combine it with the same from the DLC, but also with M42/M42 with net and can be use in every map except Stalingrad, Koursk, and Winter map since it arrived in 1944, even if it look orange more like the fall season it was designed for summer, fall and spring.

I don't know how much the game uses exactly but it's nowhere near 12GB. It's certainly not a bad recommendation to have at least 12GB though. You can probably make 8GB work but you have to be really careful with other programs running the background as to not run out of memory while playing.

Besides, they may be too far to get to if in HQ builds, and arty isn't 100% accurate on where you're aiming. There is a 40m diameter to a circle it can land in based off where you're aiming.

That's pretty normal

When you're on the server browser, it measures the time it takes for the machine to respond. Once you join a server, it measures the time it takes for the game server to respond.

When the machine receives the signal, it can respond practically instantly. The game server on the other hand isn't that fast, as there it is part of the game loop and therefore dependant on the the server's tick rate.

In real life going into deep water (with a muddy & uneven bottom) would mean forcing to give up all our equipment... if we wouldn't want to drown. Also, then there's the rivers/streams current strength to consider.

Since throwing the equipment away is not an option in a shooter like this, the 6s are just good enough imo.

A "compromise" they have made (a very bad one I might add imo), was the Driel map where the bigAss Rhine river is fully passable. It just doesn't make any sense. The bridge is not even important because of it.
