So like each garrison or sector should have a specific number of tickets that can be used before no one can spawn there anymore, that way the timer is still the end of the match but spawns are much more tactful and makes waiting for medic actually matter

OH! @fluid pawn Thinking about it, you should consider making a big poll across all HLL social media accounts. Simply ask for what the players would like to see (new war theatre, armour overhaul, more weapon mechanics, more skins etc) and then let them vote. It's not like T17 will be obliged to listen to that, but it provides you with some overall idea of what the community wants and also gives the players again the feeling T17 is actually interested in what they want and isn't just milking the game to death

That being said, I studied history until I went to uni and loved learning about WW2. Not sure I have a 'favourite' part exactly however loved learning about the Blitzkrieg and the tactics used by Germany in the early part of the war

As someone who loves to visit Cornwall, I have a great deal of knowledge about eating pasties. Unfortunately this doesn't entirely translate to making them. That being said,

• Shortcrust pastry, cut into circles.
• Layer your filling of your choice into the middle of it (steak and stilton is best!)
• Fold and crimp the edges, then glaze with beaten egg.
• Bake at 165C (fan oven) for about 50 mins

I think implementing a ticket system like in squad will radically chance the tempo of the game. Also if you hold the middle point as a team, and for that has lesser tickets then the other team, there is no incentive to push further. Hiding and waiting for the other team to push would be one of the main metas imo.

This game doesn't need to be slowed down. The fact that it can be played at a high pace is a big draw for me. Playing Squad and not spawning in for the last few minutes to not use tickets is incredibly dull, and a really bad piece of game design, in my opinion

So rifleman is okay but for the team it isn’t the best class. If nobody plays it I usually run support so I can drop supplies for garrisons, assault is really good too and automatic rifleman

Engineers are incredibly useful and have a lot of variety to their class as well

I’m not the best anti tanker but they’re also very useful , you can use their rockets to take out enemy garrisons and OPs if the splash is close enough

My #1 tip for you would be take notes of the main spawns your team calls out for each map. Like coordinates. 9/10 times, those spots are used every game, every day. So you start to learn where people will likely be well before you cross a field or go around a corner. MAP KNOWLEDGE is #1 to enjoying the game and succeeding in it in every role.

Next, the Garand and the MP44 are the 2 best weapons in the game bar none. Get used to them or unlock them in the squad roles you prefer, and you’ll be a lot less upset when someone taps you in a 1v1. You’ll feel you had a better chance.

Lastly, play Recon. A lot of it. It gives you free reign over the entire map, and it helps with learning how the maps generally flow + where to look (and which direction) for major spawns in other squads you play with.

You’ll notice that a ton of guys tend to play German as much as possible and only swap to Allies in certain forested maps.

@supple flint - Not sure who you need to stay away from, but the TL guys run a great server and are usually really helpful.

Just stay away from the official servers. If it’s not clan-hosted, it’s generally full of wall hackers and aimbots. And that’s been the case since release given how bad the anti-cheat is. You still might encounter something shady on a clan server, but they tend to snuff those guys out quick.

Nah' the satchels ain't that big of a problem in a recon.
Since you usually take up max range positions if possible, or positions in which you can indirectly splash a spawn point even if you lack LoS to it.

Rarely do you get satcheled, but better players do try and snipe you with rockets, which, I believe, is a thing you'll see less often on console.

A bigger issue you might face is a magically appearing medium that no one called out.

i can tell you this right

80 hours in the game, i pulled one of the greatest commander strategies you'll witness, similiar style to a blitzkreig with infantry using tanks cover on offensive Purple Heart. Had the entire team listen because I had convinced them with my tone of expression and how i brought up my plan

in reality, commander aint being a leader and giving out orders. It's about being the voice of the team

and getting others to support a shared goal. so i just use that kind of style

hits hard, reliable for close quarters action. Can be used for long distance for one taps but you gotta hit the right spot at times

You should play squad lead before command... But you can get supplies from a support player (50), supply drop (100), or supply truck crate (150). You need 50 for friendly zones and 100 for enemy zones.

Once you have the supplies, you pull the watch out and build. You have 50m distance from the supplies to build

-be prepared to die a lot, often not knowing where you got shot from; don't get frustrated, it's normal
-COMMUNICATE through your microphone; this is imperative
-stick with your squad mates at first and talk to them, sometimes there are some that will help you
-check the area before moving, people are often hiding in bushes
-watch tutorial videos on YouTube, they do help
-kills do not matter as much in this game, but support and teamplay: push and play the objective
