Afaik no sniper or not mod has been updated for the latest version of the game closest you'll get is: https://www.nexusmods.com/readyornot/mods/6656 but this doesn't have items such as the M249, it does have a Mk18 with a drum mag though.

What you could do is rip out all your modded PAK files (don't delete them) then put them back in one by one (restarting every time) to see what still works. However, I advise doing this after you update any mods that have one available.
Only do this if you have mods you really wanna hold on to that might not have an update available, otherwise it would probably be faster and easier to start from a clean slate

Also, the major Boiling Point update was March 12th, any mods made or updated after that should be fine, otherwise you could check Steam for when the latest patch came out and get mods after that date.

Hey, haven't actually got the game yet, but since I like to mod stuff, how well does this game handle mods? Is there a built in mod manager where I can enable/disable stuff, etc?

(Also I saw there's a Mod.io page, is it intergrated like it is for Bonelab and DRG?

there's a mod manager, but it works only with some mods. Mod.io integration is also partial. Easy to install, sometimes hard to uninstall. No ability to turn on/off, as far as i know.

Also, the most issue-proof way to start mods is by manually dropping them into the PAKS folder and ordering them via file name to make them load in the right order. It's manual, but it works fine.

All in all, the game is very mod-friendly, and honestly the only way to actually enjoy it for a log time is using some crucial gameplay mods

Just curious, is there a decent mod that makes the AI team mates react faster, or, makes them better in general? I've been playing a long time, and the AI seemed to be on and off in their quality over the years but it seems lately they are more willing to stand in a doorway and take rounds from suspects without reacting again, and taking a little long to shoot, and their aim seems way off again. I've had it in the past where they were sharp as a tack.

The first one hasn't been updated since LSS so there's a chance it won't work with the latest update, whereas the second one was updated just a couple of weeks ago so should most likely be compatible with Boiling Point

Although comments on the first do suggest it still works so whichever one looks better to you

Theres no such thing as a best long tactical. Assuming youre team is functioning as a unit your should have a mix of tacticals at any given time. Usually youre best with 1 or 2 mirrorguns, 1 or 2 shields and a battering ram.

For any excess its then personal preference. But its all about the team dynamic.

Turns out it was me being dumb, I was editing a file for ready or not I set on my desktop when originally trying to figure how to start using things like weapon mods and not the actual game files themselves

Go to nexus search up ready or not find mods u wanna play download it extract to get the pak file or just use WinRAR then go to ur steam right click ready or not go to "browse local files"
Then select these

You can download vortex mod manager and have it add your downloaded mods to the game for you as well. You just drag the zip files in and it’ll install them and manage the load order. You can also still use the built in mod menu on the game as well.

Only mods that will require you to still add to the game directory yourself will be voice replacers for TOC or Judge, or music replacers for Neon Tomb as those files require either a new folder to be created in the content folder (VO_MOD for voice replacers) or replacing the club music file in the FOMOD > Desktop folder

Recommend using ASadFigTree's AI or Not on Compliance setting or Roleplay setting for a bit more of a challenge. There are also options to increase slots and have better SWAT AI (because anything's better than vanilla SWAT AI right now tbh). Then you can adjust the in-game difficulty as desired.
