make sure youre not downloading outdated mods, usually anything not updated in the last 3-6 months doesnt work anymore

some mods require other mods because they rely on their systems, for example many firearm mods have enhancements from gunfighter or attachment expansion from ballistic

Outdated mods will crash your game or cause other instabilities.

Certain mods require other mods to work, there is nothing wrong with that. It is how the modder made it.

If you do not like that, then you do not have to use said mods. There are plenty of mods that are just one pak file which you drag & drop and it works. In any case you still need a mod menu for a lot of mods that add something to the game.

Are you running any overhaul mods? Like Extreme Immersion or Epic? That happened for me when i was using the Extreme Immersion mod, it would reset after i loaded into the map. All i could figure out was to remove a couple of mods from the modlist, like 2 added weapons and revamped NVG had to go then it all worked flawlessly for me

yeah i got it fixed, i think the problem was a sprint mod that was outdated from 2024. I just uninstalled it then loaded up the game and everything’s working fine now

Bro my dumbass bought RON on Epic games instead of steam. I for the life of me cannot even get the "modded levels" tab to show up; let alone the mods. Idc about the mods as much as maps.

I wasted like 2 hours total trying different mods and shit. The only thing newish I found was the AI picking up the NPCs and taking them to the start of a mission where the SWAT vehicles are.

once its complete the game version you downloaded will be located in ...\steamapps\content\app_1144200\depot_1144201, if you want you can launch it from there OR you can copy the entire depot folder and replace it with your current one which will allow you to launch the game normally via steam

Hey yall I’ve been having major difficulties modding to the point where now I can’t install any singular mod and any help would be appreciated, I originally downloaded a 130 mod pack ran just fine, me and my friend trimmed it down to just 28 which ran fine, we removed 2 mods then added 2 mods, his game launched fine, mine launched with a corruption error even after removing the 2 new mods, reverifying game, still gave error, I’ve done everything I possible could’ve that the internet has said, I’ve reverified, deleted mod.io, delete the pak 20, cleared mod data through both steam launcher and crash report, I’ve fully redownloaded the game 4 times, the last time I went though and deleted every single individual ready or not file, now it’s to a point where even on a fresh install with 1 singular mod it still gives the same error and I’m not sure what to do

Generally in RoN, patches are part of the model’s main texture and are not separate standalone textures. Because of that, replacing them would require replacing the entire default texture for the model.

The moment you have a file installed, that isnt meant to be in by default, your entire game is "a different version".

I mean, it is a weapon that exists in the game files. I am not entirely sure how they equipped it, unless it was a crossplay player on PC. If they still have it equipped in a loadout preset, they can use it and it will appear for other players since the weapon already exists in the game files.

That only happens to me if I’m in a lobby with a host who does not have it. When that happens, I usually just disable it in the Blueprints section of Simple Mod Menu and then rejoin the lobby.
