The reason why it is unlikely is because Nexusmods is simply not compatible with Microsoft and Sony, and there is no real implementation for the consoles. Then you have the issue of Unreal Engine which is limited on how consoles can be modded and the only real possibility is mod.io which still requires Sony and Microsoft to allow it.

Does anyone happen to have any handy guides to installing mods manually on CachyOS for Ready or not? I can't seem to find any proper non-windows guidance.

I put my mod .pak files either in the Paks directory or (I think this might have been windows specific) in a \Paks~mods folder with no luck.

Any insights would be much appreicated!

Also somewhat related. When I launch the game unmodded, at the title screen, I notice I can click all the settings normally, but when I click the Mods option at the title screen, nothing happens and I can't actually click anything anymore. I have to quit the game from Steam. I'm not sure if this is a bug or something else causing issues.

If it's the steam version and putting paks in the paks folder isn't working then your probally sol. Guessing voids extra pak scanning/loading might be based on windows filesystem calls or something like that

I managed to get the uncensored mod working on CachyOS through sheer spite. Here's how we did it (encase others come in the future).

First, have a friend on Windows get the Mods option signed in and configured. Then through the Mod.io selection, download the mod(s) in question.

Then have that friend transfer the entire Mod.io folder to you (through your preferred file transfer method).

Place that Mod.io folder into your SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Ready or Not\ReadyOrNot\Content\Paks folder.

Then launch the game. Currently (as of typing this for me anyways), the Mods section is broken and when you click it makes everything else not select able (where you have to quit the game).

When we launched into game and played the Thank you come again mission, you can verify with one of the dead NPC's if you can see the gore. Likewise, completing the mission should also verify the mods as well by indicating Unsupported mods detected and the grading window.

Went through to verify game files, uninstall/reinstall, tried installing on a different drive, same things. This method works somehow

Did you check if they were out of date? The modio folder doesnt do anything special (mostly just web page caching for the mods browser in game). Paks are still loaded in subfolders, just with different load order because it includes the folder name

Not sure..for me i just put the pak into the content/pak folder and all works.
Like you don't have any other step beside unzipping the file from Nexus and putting that pak inside the file into the RoN Pak folder.

typically when you run a laser and a flashlight together you hook them up to a pressure plate. the buttons to turn the lasers or flashlight on by pressing your thumb down without having to move your hand to the laser or light itself in the middle of combat. normally you never run a laser or flashlight just as is unless you're super extremely worried about reliability or budget concerns

Hey yall, recently I installed a mod and now it is saying I have a corrupt file and since ive taken the file out it is still saying my files are corrupted is there anything I can do to get my games to work?

Either another conflict or you might need to delete the folder inside mod io as sometimes it tries to keep idk what file and crashes. Usually fix for me. Or you delete everything added till the game works again and troubleshoot by installing one, play and see if it crashes. I learner to not download a ton at once because then you have no clue which is the issue..had to Copy and delete my whole mod folder once and Ye not very fun to go through.

Did you added the other requirment as well? Also you need to set up reshade i suggest on yt since i tried it only on dk2 and it was a bit tedious.

Pretty much. Also an Ai mod..i’m currently using jung’s one. Feels good. But also the Here i come packs (different sets depending on what you want) and there was i thing uh Fang’s? A dude with the name starting with F, thumbnail had a sort of furry character and green background, it added like 6+ difficulties aside the vanilla and it’s all in the menu so you can actually pick before a mission what you want, no need to change Paks.

With here i come is pak change and Jung is just “Jung difficulty” that has the ai modification.

It’s try and pick..see what you like and if it has conflicts. I moved to Jung since the second one i talked about was crashing due to Idk which mod that i wanted to keep regardless.

So Gunfighter and an Ai mod would be the “must have”. Or Epic mod if you manage to make it work..i didn’t but it looked like those collection packs if it was all one single mod.

you can change in settins which action is done with the quick command. it's either Z or whatever you set and you can pick one option based on what you look at. Default (look down or up), closed or open door ecc.

still depend from what team you have selected..eg you set the hotkey on a open door to clear. Whenever you press the key while looking at the door or threshold in general the team you have selected will set up and clear. It's mainly the default that is useful either fall in or hold/resume are worth since for openings ecc you still want to take them slow so those few seconds for the menu aren't a big issue. while making them stop and don't go too deep after a breach is much more valuable, for me at least

lol it’s the Gunfighter ai mod, I was just messing around. But yeah, you got a shit ton of mods it’s gonna take a while no matter what you do. You are better off pasting your current mod folder somewhere else just so you know what mods you have, then go to nexus and download any of them that have been updated since the console update

Hi, can anyone tell me what i did wrong for Ready or Not VR?

I started my Oculus Quest 2, uevr and RoN.

When i was in RoN it really lagged a lot, but when i got into a Mission and Injected the uevr, i constantly had 5 FPS, Could not use any Weapon or switching Tools, the Sync was basicly Trash (my Hands were turned and up in the Air) and i got Constantly "kicked out" of RoN to the Standard Purple Steam VR World with the Squares on the Ground for like less then a Second, than tabbed back in and got kicked out again.

Could it maybe be, because i have a bad CPU, GPU and RAM?
I have a maybe 5 Year old Intel i5-9400F, GTX 1660 and 16 GB RAM

Can someone help me with mods? For some reason, when I try to download maps through Nexus Mods, they either crash my game or simply don't appear in the map selection. This happens with literally all maps, except for one I downloaded from the game's mods tab, but that tab only has two maps, and one of them worked for me.

You've probally done something weird to your game paks. Verify game files and check you only have pakchunk0 through to pakchunk22 and not some extras from old versions etc

Im having a serious issue on PC trying to play with friends. I have no mods installed and everytime I try to join a friend Im told I cannot join with active mods. None are downloaded or subscribed to. Ive tried all forum fixes and have deleted the modio.ini files and even started the game in Safe mode through steam and it will not work. I can't have my server host enable mods as one of our friends is playing with us from Xbox.

Some might, some might not. RoN changed the extension of the voicelines from .wav to .ogg or the other way around, I am not entirely sure. However most modders did make them a .Pak file, however some still have it the old way where they make you create a folder and put the voice files into that folder.
