It works now. Thanks. Before renaming VO to VO_MOD it didn't work, so i deleted the dialogue.bank, to see if it would make a difference (It did mute everyone). So after then renaming VO to VO_MOD the dialogue.bank was still missing and it apparently kept everyone mute.

Now i got everyone i modded talking again. HOWEVER there are many new characters with new names again. Meaning the game is mixture of mine and new characters. Can anybody point me to how i can find out what the new characters are named? I tried extracting the FMOD Folder, but I could not find a single voiceline in there - It seems to ONLY store SFX and Ambience.

That's what i meant. From the my perspective pak is encrypted/zipped/callitwhatyouwant. Sorry if i am using the wrong label. So far i only had to work as an audio engineer and not interact with any UE format, so i am trying to learn. Now i really have to access the .pak files. I am currently reading up a lot (I did come into contact with Unreal some years ago). Would you recpmmend i install UE or would it suffice to extract the .paks another way. I currently only need to know some filenames within the pak, as the VO_MOD will work.

I use vortex and they havent updated the vortex mod extension yet

If you want to play the game now with mods just put them in your "pak" folder. You can make a seperate folder it just has to be in the same folder with the main game paks

Or just wait for the vortex mod extension to be updated like I am

Method - Administrative Automatic

Right click the game on Steam, click "manage", then open local files

Click and open Engine > Binaries > Win64

Right click "Crashreporter.exe" and hit "Run as administrator"

Hit clear mod & save data, allow it up to 20s to do so.

Launch the game

@buoyant roost Vortex still works. You have to choose the option clean mods and it clears all your mod data for the most part. After it allows you to use vortex again

When you click launch on steam It'll give you the option to "clear mods"

Not the actual line in patch notes, nor the one I meant, but that is correct that asset loader isn’t needed for custom weapons (that are setup correctly)

From my experience (and reports from mod users) weapons don’t require any additional setup to be loaded without item asset loader. Unless they conflict with something add-on weapons work out the box (With the exception of certain attachment ScopeData)

I have multiple mods installed adding different armor sets and uniform visuals.
When customizing my AI team, I have several wearing light armor, several wearing heavy armor, and one wearing a stab vest.
When saving loadout and visual presets, and loading them for the specific team members, they render correctly.
When I then switch back to another team member, sometimes, the ballistic mask or an armor piece (be it light, heavy armor or stab vest) doesn't render correctly, but returns the vanilla standard vest/mask.
When I then load the preset again, it renders correctly, but when switching then to another team member makes their armor piece render incorrectly, returning the vanilla alternative.

When spawning in-game, usually one or two team members have their modded armor/mask not showing, instead showing the vanilla standard alternative.

What am I doing wrong, or is this a for-now insurmountable problem?

Specifically, I have Beykerykt's mods installed for SOF, SVR and FSB armor and visuals.
User self has light armor, helmet, no ballistic mask, and an SOF visual set
Alpha may have the same
Beta may have the same but with stab vest and ballistic mask
Charlie may have the same but with ballistic mask and stab vest
Delta may have heavy armor, ballistic mask

It seems randomly, but e.g. Charlie and Delta may have their ballistic mask showing the vanilla ballistic mask, and Charlie showing the LSPD stab vest in-game, whereas Beta's modded stab vest shows correctly

such a niche issue i wouldnt even know where to begin. i would try to duplicate the problem without mods and see if ur having any changes when swapping between ur AI loadouts. If its mod related a shot in the dark would be maybe one cosmetic is overriding another during loading that causes it to get messed up. try running all the AI with the cosmetics from the same paks

any addon loadout mods updated to LSS3(Including SMM) wont load in game, game does not crash, just doesn't load in game. I'm not sure if it just the epic games version but i just want to know if there something missing or an explanation of why mods wont load for this version of the game.

As of LSS2 it was only the mangnified optics, my modlist got fucked by LSS3 and I haven't had the time to fix it so I couldn't tell you as of LSS3.
