Dont worry, RoN modding isnt hard. Once you know the routine its easy peasy.

You can find the mappings in the win64\binaries for Ready or Not

Then you link those mappings as a path file to UModel

I prefer FModel

I have a modded weapon wich really is my favorite, but unfortubaly its laser is so thin that the only visible thing is the beam..

I already have a mod wich increase laser sizes, it work for all vanilla and modded weapons but still not with the one in question.

You can’t with default ones. If you use mod that increases size/visibility of laser then you follow instructions on what it says on the mod

So, are the developers deliberately ignoring the mod map situation or are they actually doing something about it? The longer time rolls on the less maps will be updated. It's frustrating to say the least. So busy promoting cringe pillows and breaking mods to think about the impact.

Hell, after the last patch even the little Max ai mods are broken....

What do you mean? Patch 2 included something that would help fix them and the mapping template has already been updated and some map mods have already got updated and new ones are getting release it’s going to take time for the other map mods to get updated as that’s completely up to their individual authors and whether or not those maps get updated is completely up to those authors.

If they WOULD ignore the situation (which they are not), it would be totally in their right.
They are making their game, not maintaining a modding platform.

We all suffer when mods break and i get it ^^
But modding is and always will be a "bonus"

And they embrace it, unlike many other devs.

But like Cast said, modders are currently working on bringing mod maps back. A few rolled out already.

slow and tactical, im not new to these games, im having mostly an issue in getting prefired on corners from AI and on AI shooting through the smallest gaps

Yeah Extreme Tactical (Tactical game mode) is pretty unforgiving because it's simulated to PvP tactically against Bots on a keyboard and mouse. You can free-lean by holding Left ALT + WASD (if it's bound) and they won't be as accurate when you peek

But yeah if the AI Mod feels too challenging try some other AI Mods I mentioned that feels more tame

You'll have to open the reshade.ini file to change the key if you can't open the overlay. Reshade has it to where keys are set by numbers though so you'll have to look up how to change it and what numbers you need for the key you want to set it too.

You could just move the reshade files to the correct location by manually dragging them or copy and paste from the location they were installed otherwise you'd have to go through the reshade setup and select the correct directory this time. Optimization mods are really hit or miss I cannot give any that I would say would indefinitely improve ones performance. I mean the console release update brought a lot of optimizations to the game so honestly if ones performance is still shit after that I'd say skill issue.

Often times when the devs update the game they change file structures and other internals in the game so mods that modified anything that got changed will crash as a result.

Without the mod being updated no. You either delete it and wait for an update to it or roll back your game version if you want to keep playing with that mod.

When switching to safe mode and back, all my customization and loadouts presets are corrupt, forcing me to make them all over again. Probably due to game saved during the switch, with subsequently different mod load order or idk (I used the same load order after the mods-back-on revert).

Custom map built data isn't being loaded correctly so baked lighting and pre-computed via etc is broken, especially when using fame assets. Any game assets used will fallback to dynamic lighting and shadows which looks broken and tanks performance.
We might get another update to fix it this DLC cycle, but it might need another framework update and game data export for mappers that they have to migrate their maps to again. So they may just be waiting for things to be stable again.

Do you see in the file name how it starts with pakchunk99? Rename it to pakchunk9999 (this moves it higher up the load order giving it priority) and just change the pakchunk part, make sure you dont delete whatever comes after

Yeah, scrolling back up and reading through, if a cosmetic mod like this isn’t working when all your other mods do, and especially if it still doesn’t work when installed by itself, then there really isn’t any help I can offer. In case this info applies to you, it might help: it’s somewhat known that if you have RoN installed on something other than your main drive or an internal SSD, the game has a tendency to not read all mods.
