There is no depot downloader I'm aware of you just open steam console which you should already have if you have steam installed which both the youtube video and my guide should tell you how to open it and then you input: download_depot 1144200 1144201 (INSERT MANIFESTID HERE) into the console.

You have to write it yourself when you click and copy it like that it's what it's supposed to do it just gives you all the ids you need it does not automatically give you the download command.

Which one? because attachment libraries such as attachment expansion are usually built as depencies for compatible weapon mods they do not usually add new attachments to vanilla weapons or uncompatible weapon mods.

Move the .pak files within the folders into the paks folder.

Also for gunfighter you really only need the AIO file if you're planning on using all of it as the AIO is an all in one file, it is redundant to have all the other standalone files.

In general no but patches and hotfixes do have the potential to break mods as well depending on what they change it just isn't a common occurrence for them do so and what they break would likely be less severe then a major update if they were to break anything.

Yes good practice to do even if it's not necessary when it comes to reshade mods because a lot reshade mod authors tend to not state what effects they used and avoids any potential issues with missing effects most of the time.

Only difference between the two is that nexus version doesn't have the content that uncensors/returns the content in the game referencing CSAM as it's illegal even just to reference in the UK and nexusmods is based out of there so they won't host that content.

Make sure your mod.io folder is removed as lots of people have ancient mods in there they forget about.
Additionally, avoid using Nexus' Mod Manager in case you have been as it can cause various bugs and versioning issues.

Also worth mentioning to avoid mod.io as a whole for this game. Manually downloading off nexus is the way to go and takes like 2 seconds

Step 1️⃣┃ Download a mod file from Nexus Mods. It will most likely be a RAR-file (to be opened with WinRar, 7-Zip or WinZip).

Step 2️⃣┃ Open the downloaded file, browse through it until you have the .pak-file you want to add to the game.

Step 3️⃣┃ Go to this directory: [Wherever you have installed Steam on your drive]\Steam\steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Content\Paks

Step 4️⃣┃ Drag and drop the .pak mod-file into that directory.

Step 5️⃣┃ Done. You can now run the game.

Some weapons have their own features like 22 round mag or something, and modders may need to edit the very blueprint to implement them, which will conflict with Gunfighter and lose a little bit of this or that. AND, Gunfighter will not affect standalone add-ons.

Any mod that hasnt been updated after July 15 2025 will crash your game, also make sure you delete your mod.io folder since a lot of ancient mods tend to be in there

Make sure you have joined modded lobbies checked. Theres a bug with mods in multiplayer. Sometimes you have to close out of the find lobby menu and re-open it a few times. Try spamming the find lobby button too. Takes a few minutes

Most of these hidden mods on mod.io were available on nexusmods, and even if they're hidden there as well or simply don't have old files available for download, there are still ways to get links to those files using tools like the Wayback Machine website, sometimes just simply typing something like: "Ready or Not nexusmods INSERT MOD NAME HERE download into google can get you a usuable download link. Also note that some mods made after the Adam update are backwards compatible and still function, even if they were made for a later update. What definitely won't be backwards compatible is anything made for the Home Invasion update and beyond due to the change from UE4 to UE5.

Feel free to DM me. I happen to have a lot of backed-up mods for various versions of the game, so if any of these happen to be ones you're looking for, I can send you the files. For anything else you're going to have to do the pain in the ass searching for them yourself.

Was most likely hidden due to the update since it broke many mods meaning a lot of the mods in that channel would no longer work so likely won’t come back till it’s updated and that probably won’t happen till there’s a significant amount of updated mods.

VO files were moved inside the .pak files so voice mods only work if they are in the .pak format now if they haven't been updated and made into a .pak file then they won't work.

Its not that which is crashing your game. If its updated after july 15 it works. 100% of the time if youre crashing from mods its because they are outdated. Remove any outdated mods and delete your mod.io folder

FYI if the issue should persist I suggest you test the mod by moving all your other pak file mods outside your pak folder anywhere else and only having the simple mod menu and simple blueprint loader installed should these work by themselves then you know one of your other pak file mods are causing it.

Simple blueprint loader is a dependency for many mods and without it most of those mods will be completely deactivated so even if they were outdated they wouldn't crash the game until being activated by having SBL installed.

Dude it's VERY MUCH worth going to the previous version of the game. I did, it's pretty easing using SteamCMD Command Prompt. Imo the graphics are unacceptable in the current version. I play all max settings 1440p and the new version looked like ass.

Step 1️⃣┃ Download a mod file from Nexus Mods. It will most likely be a RAR-file (to be opened with WinRar, 7-Zip or WinZip).

Step 2️⃣┃ Open the downloaded file, browse through it until you have the .pak-file you want to add to the game.

Step 3️⃣┃ Go to this directory: [Wherever you have installed Steam on your drive]\Steam\steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Content\Paks

Step 4️⃣┃ Drag and drop the .pak mod-file into that directory.

I'm curious what I might be doing wrong. I'm installing mods off of Nexus into ReadyOrNot>Content>Paks. They're all pak files. I'm using ones that are as recent as July, and all supposed to be good, yet the game keeps crashing on startup. Only Visceral Blood and Gunfighter have worked. One mod for 100 slots had a version as recent as July 15 and still crashed the game. Is this normal?
