Since Void support modding and approve of the Uncensored mod why did they remove from the in game mod section. Getting that mod is hard since Nexus is removing that mod from their service. I am worried that pak file I have won't work on future updates in the game since old mods cause instability

are there any mods to make the team ai more competant? It's really bumming me out losing officers to stress cos one gets blasted for not reacting at all to being shot. Or losing all of them cos even with flash/gas/striker/c2/orders the ai just stand there and lay out one officer after another (despite heavy armor/kevlar).

I uninstalled years ago cos the ai sucked in general and they have not gotten any better, I'm hoping someone has picked up the slack here for void.

edit: i dont have any friends (on my side of the world) to play this with. So i'm trying to at least play all the levels in campaign before i uninstall it for good.

SWAT AI have very unique problems as opposed to Suspect AI, they do things like walk out into the line of fire to tie up a civ, then die - then the next one does the same etc.

I think it'll require some serious modification on the UE/Blueprint end (if that's even possible, idk).

It sucks that’s the case. They perform worse than almost 20 year old games. If I told my younger self rainbow/SWAT was as good as it gets by 30 he would be seriously bummed.

The best mod out there for SWAT AI is the Swat AI and Suspects Overhaul. The author is still working on all his changes, so I'm sure it'll be updated soon

Those shouldn't be having any effect on the current VO files, you should be fine to just remove them as is and your in game VO should just be vanilla the only way that your in game VO would be modded now is if you have .pak mod that changes VO files in your paks folder.

Audio mods are generally always client-sided, so there are no issues there. Cosmetics are mostly client-sided as well, but depending on whether or not they're addons and who is hosting, their appearance can vary. Weapon replacers or reskins are mostly client-sided too, but if they include added attachments, they'll appear invisible if you're hosting and may also prevent others from joining the game. The same applies to addon weapons, which may appear invisible to others if you're hosting and using them. This could also potentially block people from being able to join.

In general, any form of addon attachment or weapon has the potential to prevent others from joining. This is easily fixed by equipping a vanilla weapon with vanilla attachments during gameplay when playing with others. Also if you're not hosting these addon attachments and weapons will simply just not be available for you to use as equipping them will make them appear invisible to you and be unusable.

For best results I would say you should have them install the same mods too otherwise you're likely going to run into headaches on what mods you can and can't use around them.

If you’d like to suggest a mod to be made then you can join the modding server and put it in the mod suggestions channel but the likelihood of someone doing it would be very slim if you would like to commission someone and pay them do it then you can go to the commission database category and make an application to get the commission request role to request a commission.

Installed the "no mercy for terrorists" mod along with a few others in that same line and now when I kill someone actively trying to shoot me I've got toc yelling at me for violating ROE. Is this normal?

I mean it’s a vanilla thing where the ROE is bugged no mercy should remove the penalty for doing actions that normally would be actual ROE violations but also should stop penalties where it’s bullshit but the actual ROE violation voice have been known to play even with no penalty received so my recommendation would be to just get a voice mod that removes them there should be a couple updated/new ones available.

I'm just running no mods until the mods all update. Thats what I recommend to others. I have no idea why it is crashing. I'd recommend just verifying files then playing to see if your issue is mods or if its the game. After that you should add the mods 3 or 2 at a time to eliminate mods that are breaking your game!

I had to remove content that was making reference (ONLY reference, as I use files from the game) to illegal activities regarding minors, since Nexus hosting such content is now against the law in the UK where Nexus is based.

The "hard" mode says it increases traps, which is what I'm using, but the easier modes don't say anything about removing them. And I don't want to decrease the difficulty of the ai and whatnot. Just remove traps.

Because for simple audio replacers (like replacing the club music in Neon Tomb) you just need a .bank file extract/rebuilding program and from there you can just modify the .bank files that are located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Content\FMOD\Default

What part of it? the POV may be hard to tell if you're using low FOV due to the changes Void made to FOV. If you have a little bit of weapon compression or 25 slots available when looking at your item slots in loadout screen then basic file is working, If your gun doesn't move while yelling for compliance than animations are working, if you have 9 bangers in your grenades section than devices is working, if you have the simulation MK18 and G19 available in your loadout screen than extra weapons is working.

having an issue with installing mods via Nexus

i installed Vortex which launched and i started managing RoN, but every time i try to install a mod via Nexus-Vortex, it gives me an error which says:

ive tried 2-3 mods and it says the same so i doubt its about it being removed from Nexus, especially since i found them on Nexus

did i forgot to do some step when starting with the Vortex?

i checked file integrity and i didnt get any notifications about missing files so i dont think thats it either

trying to manually set the path if that fixes it but im fairly certain that i have the right folder, it just doesnt want to use it
