Is the Sniper or Not mod still discontinued? Cause I saw this guy had some weapons like a full auto Glock and an AK103 which he might've saved as a preset before the mod was killed off. He even had a pumpkin head too

Still with the update not that far away now it's best to wait and see what mods are going to be working there's only so much more time to use them before likely most of them break.

You need to check which one is or will be updated I guess and if it's still working (since that's how it works with most games with mods. Every update you need to check and maybe deactivate some or all mods for a while to play until the modDevs updated their mod)

So, upon checking in Vortex, apparently even setting it to the binaries folder with the "-Shipping" executable, it still doesn't read properly. So I'm pretty positive it could be universally broken, Vortex at least. But I'll wait a while, cause I checked with a updated mod, so I'll just wait to see how Vortex is doing later.

Does anybody know if it's possible to mod back in custom voice lines for Judge post-update? This wasn't an official mod, I'd just recorded custom lines and switched them out from the official ones. After the update the VO files for all NPC's are gone, and even though my custom Judge recordings are in the files where they used to be, I still hear the default voice actor's lines in-game. Anyone know of a workaround for this?

All of them have been moved inside the pak files now so you'd have to extract them and then edit them and then assumingly now you can just create a mod pak like how other mods are made and overwrite the files without actually replacing the files but now it's slightly less easy for voice modders to mod voice files.

I had the same problem.
The update renamed the shipping .exe file of the game. Before it was called: "ReadyOrNot-Win64-Shipping.exe"

Now they added the word "Steam" to it, like so:
"steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Binaries\Win64\ReadyOrNotSteam-Win64-Shipping.exe"

What did the trick for me:
I just renamed it to what it was before and vortex was able to manage the game again.

I saw that this message got pinned, so I am adding to this:
if you want to get access to the game on vortex app do what I described above.
You will be able to install updated mods that way and disable unwanted or outdated mods.
!!!! However it is probably not going to let you launch the game unless you rename the .exe file back to this: ReadyOrNotSteam-Win64-Shipping.exe !!!!
So rename it back and add "Steam" to the .exe name and you can launch the game again, after you are done doing settings in vortex or installing mods

If folks wanna downgrade/keep a copy of the last version before the update they can:

• Press windows key + R or search in the windows search bar "run" and in the window that pops up paste: steam://open/console this will bring up steam console.
• In steam console paste: download_depot 1144200 1144201 4089604627701712027 hit enter and wait for download to complete.
• Once finished you'll find the files in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_1144200\depot_1144201 or where ever your main steam installation is installed.
• You can then move the files where ever you want on your PC and run that version of the game through the .exe.
• Recommend adding ReadyOrNot-Win64-Shipping.exe located in: ReadyOrNot\Binaries\Win64 as a non-steam game and naming it something like: "Ready or Not Pre Jul 15th update" for ease of access.

@quasi cipher So update on this and better method to resolve without having launch issues with the game through steam. The vortex extension was actually already updated to fix this problem but for some reason it doesn't seem like vortex is detecting or allowing the option to update it.

Here's how to fix this issue:

• If you already have Ready or Not managed by Vortex try going to the Extensions tab and clicking Update Extensions to see if that'll update it for you. (This did not work for me.)

• Should the first method fail you can go to: https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/342?tab=files and try downloading through mod manager and see if that works. (This usually just brought up a window in vortex for browse extensions and only showed the outdated extension as installed for me)

• Should all other options fail you can manually download the extension files and go to: %APPDATA%\Vortex\plugins in there if the outdated extension is installed you should see a folder named: Vortex Extension Update - Ready Or Not - Vortex Extension v1.2.0 what worked for me was just renaming the end of this folder to v1.2.2 and putting the manually installed extension files in there and then after restarting vortex the game was managed and the mods worked without issue. Should the outdated version not be installed and the folder isn't already there then create a new folder named: Vortex Extension Update - Ready Or Not - Vortex Extension v1.2.2 and put the mod files inside.

Not really it's exaggeration when they say "all" mods are borken but every update you can expect some mods to be broken and this is really the case for any game, games like cyberpunk 2077, Skyrim, fallout 4, etc, have all had times where an update atleast broke some of the mods for those games. The only time mods were really all broken for RoN was when they changed the engine from unreal engine 4 to 5.

Would it be possible to create a mod that stops the SWAT AI from panning every doorway after giving a “clear command”. I’m not a modder. Just a tactics guys. And while deliberate tactics is used in certain situations, lots of times especially in SWAT Environments that become Hostage rescues, they just need to get through the door and to the hostage faster.

real question for the modders how do yall make your mods compatible with new updates? because alot of mods that get updated to new versions just had "updated to home invasion DLC/DLC2/DLC3/LSS" without any other changes or updates
if this is known players might be able to update old mods themselves or even rig together a program that can process a batch of mods in minutes (obviously as long as the mods arent broken beyond just a version mismatch)

Hi everyone, I need help with a mission unlock issue.

I used to have all missions unlocked in Ready or Not (including Dollhouse), but after dying in that mission I can now only see the first mission (Gas Station).

What I’ve already tried:

Replaced .sav files with unlocked ones

Used pakchunk999-MissionsUnlocked_P.pak mod

Disabled Steam Cloud

Launched without EAC (ReadyOrNot-Win64-Shipping.exe)

Cleared SaveGames folder
…but still only Gas Station appears.

Does anyone know how to unlock all missions again in the current July 2025 build?
Or is there a working Dollhouse mission .pak available?

I’m already running the game without EAC (using ReadyOrNot-Win64-Shipping.exe), but mods still don’t seem to load at all. Even a simple test .pak that changes the main menu didn’t work.

So it’s not just saves being overwritten – the game completely ignores any .pak mods.

Is there any confirmed working “Unlock All Missions” mod for the July 2025 build? Or maybe Dollhouse is now locked behind a different method?

Yes, EAC = Easy Anti-Cheat. I’m launching the game with the Win64-Shipping.exe to bypass it, so the game should run without EAC. But even then, mods still don’t load for me.
