Reset your loadout to default and exit loadout screen and go back in. I suggest you overwrite any affected presets

Where the voice files are or the TOC folder? If it was extracted to the toc folder it should had replaced the voice files within unless you had already deleted them in which case the modded voicelines should be the ones played in game unless it's an outdated voice mod.

Well you either installed the mod incorrectly or it's outdated. Voice mods require to be in the .ogg format to function anything before the 1.0 release of the game in December 13th, 2023 will indefinitely not work. Voice mods uploaded/updated prior to the Dark Waters DLC release of December 10th, 2024 will work for the most part but may be missing voicelines and/or have incorrect naming as I believe some voiceline file names were changed with the Dark Waters release.

It's possible to update voice mods yourself you just need to convert the format from .wav to .ogg but again some of the names may not match to the current voiceline names.

I tried downloading a pistol mod but when I loaded into the game it wasn't there and it does the same with any other pistol I download, is there anything i can do to fix the issue

In simple terms you'd used Fmodel locate a weapon BP for a weapon that isn't currently available in game and extract the uasset for it and open said uasset with UassetGUI and edit certain values to unlock it and make it usable.

I don't really do any sort of weapon mods myself but I imagine it's the same concept as unlocking a cosmetic item for the most part.

What I would recommend is you open up a weapon unlocker mod such as the one you linked and look for what they changed and do the same for yours.

There really isn't that many unlockable weapons and some of them may be buggy and not work very well in the current version of the game.

Hi, is there some easy way to port or copy/paste only certain parts from one asset to another? What I mean is:
I want to take the data from Astrals Overhaul but only to activate the active shooter script on Hospital and Club, but I don't want to use all the changes to suspects themselves

Should I just delete every entry from the Astral mod pak asset apart from AI data table? It won't mess the map data? And is there a fast away to do it instead of Down arrow-Delete on loop for an hour? 🙂

But on Nexus mods all mods are scanned at a minimum for virus and malware so the odds of it infecting are basically 0 since all mods get screened left and right daily

Just get mods from legitime places and not your local crackhead at walmart and you'll be fine

This bug in Ready or Not affects some people when using custom weapon mods with extra attachments. To fix it:

• Download this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/readyornot/mods/5273 it fixes the issue but mod author's need to generate a Data asset file for their mod in order for it to work therefore it does nothing on it's own and it does not apply to any mods where the mod author hasn't done this.

• Also get this required mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/readyornot/mods/476

I suggest you back up of the contents of this directory: %LOCALAPPDATA%\ReadyOrNot\Saved\SaveGames and run the clean mods / save data launch option instead which as the name implies will delete your save data but that is why you want to back up the mentioned directory beforehand. Uninstalling and reinstalling through steam won't remove any left over mod files as steam only uninstalls the game's content not any additional 3rd party content added.

Why is it that a lot of the weapon mods sights don't work well?

Depends on what you mean by "don't work well".
If they're just not showing up then you don't have the required mods for it.
If the reticle or aiming is off than you have conflicting mods.
If you're talking about where the bullet hits isn't where the reticle is then that's height over bore bullets come from the barrel of the gun not the sight and vanilla sights are generally zeroed for 50 meters I believe and I believe most modded sights are zeroed for it as well so they'll hit closer to where the reticle is pointed if you're shooting at an enemy that's out that far.

If you're talking about a mod that allows for magnification than just use your scroll wheel.
If you're talking about a sight mod with a magnifier than this uses the secondary sight keybind in game I believe either P or O is the default one of those is for canted aiming.
Do not that some sight mods with magnifiers do not always include functional magnifiers if using the secondary sight keybind doesn't work than it's most likely not a functional magnifier.

If you've extracted the archived file which should be a .pak file not a .rar or .zip file or anything else when extracted than it's likely you downloaded a addon weapon mod and don't have the other required mods. Make sure you check the requirements and mod page description for any required mods.

I don't think they want to make a mil-sim level larp thing, even though I like that too, but the game shouldn't go into that direction officially, we got mods for that, but they should definitely lean into more Police gear equipment and more options.

First priority is further improving the base gameplay loop, which ig they are working on. Hopefully the new update won't break a lot of current mods.

And its also coming to consoles, I hope they get a option wheel, which I would also prefer on pc as an option, along with current keybind system.
