Yeah, I mean as long as you have the latest version, that issue shouldn't occur. So I could only imagine it happening if you've somehow downloaded an older version (Nexusmods will sometimes make it so people download older versions even though they're downloading the latest for whatever reason). Anyhow, if you do get it working, you will require a compatible weapon replacer to use with that mod as it doesn't add attachments to vanilla weapons or incompatible weapon mods. They're all up to date, but the other two files, CQBL and NGAL, which you can see in some of the screenshots, include fixed attachments, meaning they're attachments stuck on to the weapons by default and cannot be removed. With these versions, they'll hide the models of some other attachments that you can equip to the weapon in game, but all will still be functional.

Okay so today I went to use the Steam record feature to capture some gameplay of Ready or Not today and when i pressed f11 to start recording it put my game into windowed mode and made it entirely black.

Since that incident my game has not been able to launch right, I get the startup movies and then just before it gets to main menu it goes into windowed mode and goes black but i can still hear audio.

I have all the dependencies installed, including the Colt Canada AR-15 so I'm thinking it might be a pak order loading issue thingy? That's just how it is with mods sometimes, sometimes they just have a shit ton of dependencies and without said dependencies those mods won't be functional or at least not fully functional.

Yea unfortunately there's not any standalone mod that does it all. At best you can do two with a weapon replacer and attachment expansion.

That's odd, then my game may be bugged because I tested it and when I empty my kit completely, equip the beanbag shotgun, then give myself a single equipment point in the beanbag ammo, I go to the range and magdump the 7 shots, then when I go to reload, I only get one shot

Yes it still works and yea both files go in unless you only want one and not the other. CazanusVisceralBlud is for the main blood textures, wound is for the bullet hole wounds and such.

Well if you're falling through maps that aren't modded than if you do have any modded maps I suggest you take them out Idk of any other mod that could potentially cause that. Aside from that the only resolution is either find the mod causing the issue or have your friends download all the same mods as you.

There's a how to create mods channel there with an unofficial modding guide but do note a lot of the contents of that hasn't been updated. Depending on the mods you plan on making there's a youtube playlist with 4 video tutorials that could help ya along the way that are still relevant that's in the pinned messages on the tech support channel over there. If you have any mod creation questions you can ask them in the tech support channel there as well.

Some modded vests may not fit well with some shirts, I currently use vanilla and the stab vest for example will clip through any longsleeve combat shirt

Do this: #❓modding-faq message and than if you wish to try modding again download from nexusmods instead and only download mods uploaded/updated on or after December 10th 2024.

Just keep in mind it's probably a file being loaded after either simple blueprint loader or custom weapon loader that's causing the issue as files loaded after usually take priority. You can probably workaround it by changing the load order by renaming the files and changing the number after pakchunk that way you don't have to remove any mods though depending on the mods this may or may not work some mods just aren't compatible with one another.

that crdownload file represents a partially downloaded file in google chrome, so im guessing that the mods youre trying to download didnt finish fully

my mods are being downloaded as compressed zip folders

do i pop that folder into my mod folder located within my paks folder or do i pull out the pak file and put that in the pak folder

If it is crashing when you add the mod, then it is because of the mod, there's not much else to be said. It is broken/outdated more than likely
