The problem is that it's nothing that a thousand other PVP FPS titles haven't already done. Ready or Not is a semi-unique modern entry into a relatively niche slice of the shooter market, which is its main selling point. A mechanically solid, polished, competently designed PVP deathmatch does nothing to set it apart from a hundred other titles that specialize in that, and despite what many people think, development time and resources are finite—time spent on a generic, superfluous PVP mode that is no different from anything else on the market does nothing but dilute resources better spent on the game's unique aspects, its very strong asymmetric PVE design.
While there may be a place for PVP in Ready or Not, it certainly should not be this—generic, run-around-and-click-on-people gameplay that dedicated, veteran, high-budget studios haven't done better a hundred times before.

it's not super precise, and you have to kinda juggle the camera unlocker and ansel, but with some patience there's a lot of possibilities

Right, if its anything like the reshade dof plugins I guess it depends on a few hooks that are pretty unstable? iirc the filter that it uses to take depth info is also considered a cheat

I simply adjust the distance by making the depth of field of the distant view extremely large. However, they all seem to have different problems, and even if they teach the same method, they often do not work properly.

i recorded a lotta footage of the port maps that i'll edit into something tonight/tomorrow, but idk if i have the patience to go back in and mess with ansel and the camera again to maybe get the depth of field to work. i'll just fake it with a tilt shift filter in post haha

personally I use the first one, UUU, because it has slow-mo and freeze time. The slow-mo crashes the game unless you activate it in the main menu (before the police station hub), then just turn the slider back to 100% speed so you can walk around the menu hub easily, then just turn the slider back down to slow, but not all the way to zero or else it crashes the game lmao, hitting the button dedicated to freezing the game doesn't crash stuff though :D

I was able to boot as normal, but it seems to be a problem for an unspecified number of people, and there are various problems that I can't identify, such as not being able to boot Ansel, or being able to boot but having DOF problems. I can't really recommend it, but downgrading the Nvidia drivers may fix the problem.
