New pistol carbine aint bad, just did Port Hoken with me and all AI using the carbine. Rather than the damage it's more the stability and lack of accuracy at range that hurts, you're gonna want to bring at least 8 mags if you try this. FSR is fine, only DLSS is broken. Been experimenting on the settings for quite a while and only fix for the DLSS is by switching to FSR

Game already has Global Illuminations, RTGI is not needed since it will only appear on the viewmodel. Been testing Marty's latest iMMERSE RTGI with all possible settings including the preprocessor settings called RESHADE_DEPTH_MULTIPLIER. Since the game's depth buffer is reversed you will still need the depth multiplier to bring the normals upfront. Regardless of bringing it the illuminations is never going to be present due to the game having it already. And only makes the game even more laggy. Also note that the depth buffer settings in the Add-ons section of reshade always reset once you enable RTGI so every time you enable it will be disabled randomly because its not constantly picking the monitor size even though its matched.

For me it helped to tab out of the game aswells as turning v sync on and off but it seems to be only a temporary fix for the broken DLSS since it came back after a restart. Apparently i cant even turn V sync off or the problem persists all the time with DLSS on.

RTGI will still work regardless of in-game lighting. It’s applied over the screen using existing depth/color data. It can’t actually detect any underlying illumination methods. There are uses for it.

I think that is reshade's issue giving that auto disable, I've disabled mine just because its not consistent for example I've enabled it on the lobby and once starting a mission its disabled and I enable it again in the mission and once back in the lobby its disabled again. Kind of frustrating, I've disabled it now completely since for what I've observed even though the normals are brought upfront by increasing the RESHADE_DEPTH_MULTIPLIER, the RTGI's reflection is limited to the viewmodel only, only noticing effects are the ambient occlusion which darken the scene and made my game laggy.
