You could try checking windows event viewer logs .. Go to Event Viewer, then Windows Logs, then Application.

@mental timber Windows search bar, type in "Event Viewer' and fire it up. The logs should by default be sorted by date with the newest at the top.

So check is Event Viewer → Windows Logs → Application. Look at the exact time the crash happened, then filter that log for Error and Warning entries around that timestamp. The most useful event IDs are usually 1000 for Application Error and 1001 for Windows Error Reporting; 1002 is the one to check if the game hangs/freezes instead of instantly crashing.

Yeah I just helped maze and he had NZXT CAM overlay enabled and their game would just go to a black screen and crash, disabling it fixed the issue, I would recommend disabling discord overlay and steam overlay for starters and if its still an issue I would disable nvidia overlay and lastly make sure you are on the latest graphics drivers.

I would recommend that they first update their Adrenalin drivers and yes, disabling the overlay also to see if it causes issues. Run the game in DX11 also to see if it still crashes if you do the above steps.

Since you are on a laptop I recommend checking your nvidia control panel settings and making sure you have your GPU set to maximum performance either globally and or under the "Programs" tab for Ready or Not, and making sure you are on the latest drivers which are 5795.79 for Nvidia. But yeah DLSS is broken in-game right now...only DLAA appears to be working.

Have your friend find and download the "AMD CLeanup Utility" and also have them Get the latest AMD’s Drivers off their Support page, either with Auto-Detect and Install or by manually selecting your GPU. 2. Go to Start → Installed apps, find AMD Software, and click Uninstall. **3. **run the AMD Cleanup Utility next, before rebooting, have them disconnect from the internet (So windows does not install some generic shit driver), it will reboot them into safe mode. It will remove previous graphics and audio drivers but it should not touch their AMD Chipset drivers. Once those drivers are removed, Reboot. 4. Then install the graphics driver from AMD, once reinstalled, reconnect to internet and let us know if it works.

If that does not work, you all three should try to exit the game, reboot your xboxes and give it another try, lastly maybe have someone else try to be host and see if it fixes it?

I would also check your NAT and UPnP. Lets check if your NAT settings are not potato on the xbox... go to Settings → General → Network settings. Then tell us if you see something along the lines of "UPnP not successful, Double NAT detected**, or NAT Type: Unavailable/Open As a last resort you can try to use googles open DNS as the DNS resolver instead of automatic settings on the xbox.. **Settings **→ General → Network Settings → Advanced settings → DNS settings → Manual, then use **8.8.8.8 **and 8.8.4.4

Login to epic and actually verify what accounts you have linked including your steam account, unlink it (your steam account)and relink the steam account, there is no cooldown period so you should be able to do it quickly.

If I recall, as long as its the same steam account you can relink almost instantly. It will just reset any game history and progression on the Epic side. Just don't try to relink it to another steam account.

On Xbox, I can play the full game by myself on single player and not crash or anything.

heya! I'm on CachyOS (an Arch based Linux distro) and whenever I launch my game and try to use the in-game modding menu all it does is freeze the game and make it so I can't click any buttons. I've tried in both DX12 and 11 and verifying file intergrity didn't do anything. In order to fix the buttons on the main menu not working I have to restart my game by force quitting it through steam. I've had this issue since before the Boiling Point update.

I am on Xbox Series S but play exclusively keyboard and mouse. I have no prompt to toggle the 3x scope on and off. I have seen videos of others doing it, but I am for some reason incapable. I’ve finished the 3 boiling point missions, standard S rank on quick play and on commander mode and the trophy associated with it doesn’t pop
