By default for laptop:
Set system power plan to High performance, set Nvidia GPU to be the primary used one in whichever driver or companion app you use to control your laptop and ensure it runs off the line power and not on battery.

Other than that, verify game files in the Steam client and ensure no other app is interfering with the game.

I’m experiencing an issue when trying to play Ready or Not. The game launches normally, I can open it without any problems and navigate through the menu smoothly. However, when I click to start a match, it tries to load but then immediately closes and returns me to the desktop.

I’ve already tried some solutions on my own: I restarted the computer, verified the integrity of the files through Steam, and even uninstalled and reinstalled the game several times via Steam. Unfortunately, even after all these attempts, the issue still persists.

What’s curious is that outside of this moment of starting a match, everything works perfectly — graphics, sounds, and menus respond without any errors. Because of that, I believe it may be something specifically related to loading into the match.

I would really appreciate your help in resolving this issue, as I’m eager to enjoy the game but at the moment I can’t play any matches.

Basically try to cover as much area as you can from the spawn, one of you go on the left to deal with outside and another do the right and last one does the main entrance basically just cover everything. As for PC issues, Intel Raptor Lake (and Raptor Lake Refresh) have known issues, now Win11 update on (seemingly) AMD platforms killed some SSDs using Phison controller, exploding RTX GPUs in the past, broken GPU drivers from all sides, etc.

PC parts are a literal minefield these past few years sadly.

Hi everyone, I really need some help.

For about a month now, I’ve been having a strange issue in Ready or Not: my character’s aim/pointer randomly jerks to the right during matches. It even happens in the main menu.

To clarify:

It’s not my mouse or touchpad (I tested 4 different mice, disabled the touchpad, and even tried with no mouse plugged in — the problem persists).

It doesn’t happen on my Windows desktop or in any other game.

I already tried reinstalling the game, removing all mods, changing sensitivity, and checking drivers.

This started out of nowhere after months of playing with no problems.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any known fix? Right now it’s basically unplayable.

Hello, I'm facing a problem where the game starts resetting missions, but the rewards I've earned (clothes, armor, etc.) are still saved. When I enter the game, it says "new game" instead of "continue," and when I click on the new game, the missions either appear or disappear, but even if they appear, it says I haven't completed them. This is the second time this has happened. Can you please advise on how to avoid this?

I can confirm that servers work fine on my end. I have a suspicion that it is not 300 people experiencing this but probably a small group of users for a variety of reasons.

If you have not already, use the clear mods launch option then verify your game files afterward and try again

Double check the folder RoN is installed to has read permissions. But again, double check quick play mode specifically to see if maps are unlocked there, if they are, it means there's an issue with commander. If there isn't, then it's an issue with the game saving at all.

Quick play and commander mode both have maps locked by default and you have to play maps through one by one to unlock them in both modes

If you have a commander mode save that’s finished the base game missions at least they should be unlocked then in quick play too granted I haven’t tested it concretely. If you wanna avoid that all together then you have to play multiplayer/friends only lobby if you wanna avoid playing with randoms.
