If you are crashing while loading into a mission/HQ after removing mods, follow the steps below. It is likely the result of having modded items in your loadout/preset.

0. Remove your mods (use the clear mods option on launch)
   If you do not get prompted on launch to select clear mods, right click the game on Steam > properties > launch options > select ask on launch.

1. Open file explorer and search %localappdata%

2. Go to ReadyorNot > Saved > Savegames

I've heard of some instability with the 5700XT from a few cases and threads I've seen, but it's not something I've looked deep into. Try doing a clean reinstall of your drivers and/or try reverting to a prior build tos ee if it's an issue with the latest

But crashing your system is a hardware issue in some way, it's not something I could say "delete this RoN file" for.

Highlight them all and make sure there are only 46 of those pakchunk files, if there is a pakchunk23, delete it.

If there is a modio folder, delete it. If there is something else there that isn't a pakchunk, delete it

As mentioned before, it's a sample size issue. It is a universal rule that a game shouldn't crash your system, the game can crash, but it shouldn't crash your system. It only means you haven't ran into another game that uses the plugins/engine/other technical details that RoN uses.

For example, 13/14k chips had crashing for RoN because of a microchip error with the compression software RoN uses and Intel. It was addressed with later bios updates*

Consoles (or controllers) are meant to use voice activity by default while KBM has push to talk, my assumption is you trying to use KBM on console would not work properly in that sense.

We're in odd territory, KBM is not intended on consoles right now, so I don't expect everything to work properly. If you plug in a controller and it works, then it is because of KBM

That's a generic timeout error unfortunately, I can't recommend anything besides disabling VPNs, restarting your game and/or Steam, close outside tabs, etc. That kind of thing.

Again, walk up to one of the NPCs and see if you are crashing when they trigger their dialogue or if it is a time based issue.

The way the HQ works is there are different levels where sometimes the NPC talk, sometimes they don't

If you get an HQ where the lockers don't talk, you're fine.
You can also try sneaking past them, go into the briefing room, make a sharp left hugging the wall and go downstairs, you can change your weapon at the dude there

The issues started with LSS but I believe those reports go straight to the devs, so it does have some purpose besides the crash buttons.

a "gaming" laptop implies 2 graphics chips, one integrated in the CPU that does not have its own memory, another that is dedicated in its own chip that has its own memory.

The bug you see is the game engine running on the integrated one, detecting no dedicated memory as a result and glitching out (well, it disables one system and the devs have no fallback to it but that's neither here nor there)

I wanted to kindly ask if you have any plans to add full keyboard and mouse support on PS5. Currently, the keyboard works but the mouse doesn’t, which limits the gameplay experience for those of us who prefer using keyboard and mouse on consoles.

Since Ready or Not is primarily a co-op tactical shooter without PvP concerns, adding keyboard and mouse support on PS5 would greatly improve precision and control without creating unfair advantages.
