And you're 100% sure they're up to date on their bios? Usually it's Intel 13/14k chips having issues, but again, crashing their entire PC shouldn't be possible. A game can crash, yeah, but it shouldn't take your PC out with it.

Keep in mind DX11 leads to stutters in-game until the shaders are fully compiled.
I usually prefer/suggest DX12

With DX12 it takes a while to load into a mission (the first time for each map), that's normal because it's compiling the shaders (depending on your CPU this can take some time).
But you get no stutter in game this way

Then you did not enable it propery, it's bugged currently.
But there's a workaround;

Create a new save (enable ironman-mode before), then you're at the difficulty select screen, hover over your desired difficulty, then you press X (on an xbox controller) to enable ironman-mode (works with any controller).
Basically you have to enable it twice, once on the first screen & once on the difficulty select screen.

Since the new update I get: "corrupted data found, please check install". It gets trigger instantly by joining singleplatyer or multi player. When I press "continue" I can load into lobby but the error will popup again when I try to select a map.

Can you/ someone explain me on my PlayStation 5 (slim), latest Firmware version, with usage of an Sony Inzone H9 Headset/ Sony Dual Sense edge controller & Sony Inzone m3 monitor (244 Hz), why the game lags so bad? I mean it’s kind of expected when you’re playing online with 3-5 officers? But mostly the lags which are affected, which are the craziest ones, are in “Gunfights”

Make sure you have no left over mods in your files. It will cause crashes.

Launch in Safe Mode first. once game is loaded check any mod launcher you might've used and purge links. If you didn't use a Mod launcher. Manually delete the files inside the game directory and re verify through Steam, it will create a clean copy with no left over.

It could be just left overs from previous updates. Browse Local Files and delete all the folders. Re-Verify and the game should recreate all of them correctly.

It took me doing this a month after Dark Water released to find out there was a new TOC because the Files didn't update correctly

Interesting, well firstly take a look at your graphics settings which I assume you have throughly. The second step I would take is to check your game integrity which is easy it's just right clicking RoN in steam and clicking properties and you will find it in installed files. the last thing I would look at is your ping with the host usually above 200 ping you will have issues unless you have a good wifi.

I got pc freezes mid game and lock up and after two minutes it restart itself. Once i reseated gpu take it out and put back in and problem was gone. I done this three months ago and same problem again. My pc is put on table with moza r5 steering wheel put on that table and somtimes pc is little bit shaking, but very very little. Now i have event 153 nvidia driver crash. I just ddu drivers and havent tested yet if problem was with drivers. If problem will be there then I do gpu reseat.

Graphics are set to lowest and it works fine. I've already checked the integrity before when I was uninstalling the mods.

Now my ping is usually above 200, but I can't help it. I don't live in Europe/USA so this will be natural. The thing is before the update there were no issues even at 200-300 ping. Are the level loading issues also due to ping?

i click launch and select the dx11 or 12 etc and nothing happens it doesnt launch no crash error or reports ive tried reinstalling left it launching for 30 minutes and nothing helped deleted mods and also verified game files? this didnt happen before.

Are you running DX12 or DX11 ?
If you use DX12 then it basically takes a while to load each map because it's compiling the shaders (should get faster after loading each map at least once)
Also the compiling process is heavily CPU dependant, means if you got a slow CPU it takes longer.

If you're using DX11 it does not pre-built the shaders (during the loading screen) but it's compiling them during game-play means each map will stutter for a while.

If you got a mod.io folder inside the Paks folder. Try moving that to your desktop to see if that fixes it. (\Steam\steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Content\Paks)

If that doesn't work;

Move that folder somewhere else (desktop or whatever) & then try launching the game again.

If it still doesn't work;
Open Steam, right-click on "Ready or Not", go to "Properties", then "Local Files", and finally "Browse".
In the game's installation folder, find the file named "sl.pcl.dll".
Right-click on the file and choose "Rename". You can rename it to anything, like "sl.pcl.dll.bak".
Try launching "Ready or Not" from Steam again
If it still doesn't work then, sorry no clue :/

It's bugged, workaround;
Create a new save (enable ironman-mode before), then you're at the difficulty select screen, hover over your desired difficulty, then you press X (on an xbox controller) to enable ironman-mode (works with any controller).
Basically you have to enable it twice, once on the first screen & once on the difficulty select screen.

Only works with a controller though.

a few things are buggy on the Trainings maps (because i think it only gets reworked with every major gameplay shift so its there since we have the new map)

You did not enable ironman-mode properly (there's currently a bug preventing it from applying correctly).
Workaround;

Create a new save (enable ironman-mode before), then you're at the difficulty select screen, hover over your desired difficulty, then you press X (on an xbox controller) to enable ironman-mode (works with any controller).
Basically you have to enable it twice, once on the first screen & once on the difficulty select screen.

Also keep in mind for the achievement you need to play on standard or high difficulty, casual does not count.

Also yeah, what Casual said "Keep in mind that your team cannot die, quit, or be fired".

Move that folder somewhere else (desktop or whatever) & then try launching the game again. This folder includes your saves/settings/etc so do not remove it (unless you wanna lose your progress).

If it stutters while you move your mouse it's coming from your PC. if you have 8kHz mouse stop using it at that frequency

it was already at 250hz but i think when i first bought the laptop i changed it to 1000hz

everything is fixed now the issue was from the mouse

1kHz is expected to work but it depends on your CPU (since polling sends HW interrupts, and that's processed by the CPU).

Double check that the CPU runs at expected base/boost frequency, since this issue might really be just a CPU/performance issue in disguise.

FYI for if the game stutters on mouse movement it's mostly the mouse in general (it's HW properties, wireless connection, driver or companion app), quite the number of times it's a guy with mouse set to 8kHz polling rate. Since marketing materials won't tell you what high rate "polling" actually does to your PC.
In games with anti-cheat it's usually caused by malware trying to re-hook into the game while simultaneously being unloaded by the AC (had that a lot on Ins/ISS).

There are keybindings so you can easily switch between those though (without having to change it in the audio settings).
"Cycle voice channels" = L (by default, in case I did not rebind this).

You could use any macro software though and set the push to talk button to "hold/toggle".

i solved my crashing issues with the game. As we have seen 1 fix might not apply to all. Here is the tutorial i followed. Dont feel like watching a 1 minute video? i changed the P core setting from 57 to 54 for all the cores on my 14k cpu in the BIOS

Hello i am having issues launching the game it loads for about 3 seconds then closes

A few methods that may work;

%LOCALAPPDATA%\ReadyOrNot

Move that folder somewhere else (desktop or whatever) & then try launching the game again. This folder includes your saves/settings/etc so do not remove it (unless you wanna lose your progress).

If you got a mod.io folder inside the Paks folder (\Steam\steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Content\Paks), try moving that to your desktop to see if that fixes it.

Open Steam, right-click on "Ready or Not", go to "Properties", then "Local Files", and finally "Browse".
In the game's installation folder, find the file named "sl.pcl.dll".
Right-click on the file and choose "Rename". You can rename it to anything, like "sl.pcl.dll.bak".
Try launching "Ready or Not" from Steam again
