They'll be adding different difficulty levels to choose from with the console release update so hopefully that will resolve the issue for it feeling too easy with more numbers.

Aside from that there's always the option of using AI mods to tweak the difficulty to your liking as there's many of them out there so I'm sure you can find one that suits your needs.

Also my personal opinion and realistically speaking 5 is not a large team and in realistic scenarios even if it's just 1 suspect a lot more than 5 guys are generally going to be sent out to deal with the situation. With the many situations D platoon faces a lot of them would definitely have at minimum 20 guys realistically.

Gasmask stuck on face is usually a result of using mods to put it there and since the mods used game assets even after the removal of said mods will keep it there which is usually fixed by resetting the loadout preset to default and exiting the loadout screen and then once you go back in you should see it removed and to exact the loadout preset needs to be reset not the customization preset.

Than this folder is simply just a different installation of it because those files are not correct for the current version of the game.

Right click the game on steam go to manage and select browse local files and head to the paks folder from there. This should lead to the correct paks folder on the correct version of the game currently installed through steam.

🛠 This is most often caused by having outdated mods (from before the Home Invasion DLC Update).

Delete ALL your mods:

3️⃣┃There are 22 core files named "pakchunk#-Windows.pak" with numbers being 0-19 and 22/23; do not delete or modify these!

On another note, I'm having performance issues that I've literally tried and failed to debug for around a year now. I'm convinced it has something to do with improperly uninstalled mods that are broken and take a significant amount of arbitrary processing power and freeze my PC for MINUTES. I think it was a shaders or overlay mod, and I KNOW it didn't uninstall properly because it used to come up with the menu for the mod at the top like a console but it doesn't do that anymore. This would happen in safe mode, all DLSs, after a data wipe, and after I deleted both the game files AND the userdata files. It's completely unplayable because of this.

Also happens with the Quad NVGS, but much more bearable and doesn't happen on the screen borders, only where the outer and inner set of goggles meet, and can be explained away as LSPD getting the defective batch of the NODs (for cheap).

Are you using Tappy Plus? I remember the posts tab of that mod had a user say they couldn't use mouse wheel to cycle between the teams.

Its because TappyPlus uses mouse wheel to pull/push doors, Open Simple Mod Menu's settings tab, find TappyPlus and edit the keybinds of pull/push door.

If you have both of these mods installed that is, Simple Mod Menu + Tappy Plus. If you don't, then idk.

Once you remember that every UE4 and UE5 game behaves the same way it's quite easy to costruct the paths from memory. They do not use whitespaces in %LOCALAPPDATA% by default, so it's "ReadyOrNot".
Same for the main game directory inside %installdir%: ".\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\..

Download the mods manually.
In game mod.io often causes issues and isn't recommended. Vortex is hit or miss, works great for some and doesn't work at all for others.
Make sure you have all required mods. They are usually listed under the requirements tab or in the mod page description.

It took a second but it finally worked. I havent played modded in awhile and I didnt have those first two essential mods. my only complaint is they removed the launchers ability to kill civilians or cops after complaints, but the 9 bang rounds work nicely.

Ready or Not keeps crashing. I disabled steam and discord overlays and my GPU and CPU drivers are updated and dont have any weird settings. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP WITH THIS! At the current moment, the game is unplayable. All basic trouble shooting steps have been followed and have done nothing.

If so then it’s hard for me to help you because if the game crashes without any error it can’t give you any crash logs

So verify files,update all your drivers etc and set power management to high

So it can utilise max performance for games etc

I've been having some issues with my game. I recently deleted all of my out of date mods for ready or not but my game is unable to start up. It does for a few moments before it just closes. I've tried deleting my folder for ready or not, verified my files several times, and tried opening it on every option, even in safe mode, and it won't work. Anybody know any other options? For this, reboot Steam client and ensure it is not running as Admin. Mismatched permission levels is what causes most of these "requires Steam" errors in general.
Also, sometimes Steam services time out occasionally so that might also be part of it (easier to notice if you have Steam Friends panel open on your second monitor).

For all intents and purposes the two processors seem to output the same gaming performance. The video you sent seems a bit skewed weirdly enough. That being said, one does have more cores which helps in a lot of scenarios outside of gaming, but both of these are great pieces of hardware. That depends on what's wrong with your PC.

Start by verifying game files in Steam, deleting DX12/DX11 shader cache from AMD and Nvidia folders (you can google the specifics, it should be either in %LOCALAPPDATA% or %PROGRAMDATA% ), ensure your CPU isn't overclocked or otherwise unstable, etc.

RoN is P2P, which means the host is the server and you connect to them, there's not much I can recommend besides disabling VPNs, change host, try to limit the things in the background that could be using your connection, etc.

Statistically either your Windows 10 build or your graphics card driver are years out of date.

You can post the exact version numbers for each if you are unsure which one needs updating, no, saying "i have the latest" doesn't help.

While for Ready Or Not, you can use DX11 as a workaround, this may not work for other games that rely on the DX12 Agility SDK.

I'm having an issue, my friends and I want to play but everytime I try to join his lobby, it gives me the notification "Your Connection To The Host Has Been Lost"

When he tries to join my lobby, the same happens for him.

We're playing with 2 mods, we both have serverside checksum disabled. This issue did not occur 3 days ago, which was when we last played before then. Since that time we have not made changes to our mods or has the game been updated as far as I can tell.

ron servers are peer to peer so there isn't much that can sadly be done besides stuff Disable VPNs and anything that might hinder network traffic

Like Patrick said, it's P2P for the most part so the issue is somewhere between you and them.

Generally speaking it's better if you test this in vanilla environment, so no mods of any kind, that way you have a known environment that you can reliably test against.
Other than that you are facing a networking issue so maybe reboot PCs, routers, etc.
