Which DX version are you trying. And for certainty run the clear mods option on launch, but it will delete your save.

I would imagine the issue is with the game using your integrated card instead of your GPU, but I would not be able to advise you on that.

Unfortunately, you can't. Once progress is lost, there's no getting it back. Your only options are to redo everything or download a 100% save from nexusmods. For the future, I recommend backing up the contents of: %LocalAppData%\ReadyOrNot\Saved\SaveGames That way, if this were to occur again, you can just put your backed-up files in. If you choose to do the 100% save, make sure you disable steam cloud before making any changes and ensure you do it while the game is closed.

Hello, so i've got my friend to buy RoN a week ago but we've always been getting this annoying high latency issue that keeps kicking us both out of our games after a short while during a match. No matter who hosts the 'friends only' server it will still happen, the performance is fine but it's the connection issues that has been really disappointing so far because the both of us have really good internet. Is this purely because of the game's multiplayer being P2P? Because this has never happened before in any other multiplayer game we both played so idk. Have you tried clearing your nvidia shader cache and relaunching the game?

You either deleted the ready or not folder in local appdata, or clicked delete save data in the crash report menu. Check your recycling bin, if they're not there you can't get it back.

As Arc has mentioned, if your PC is crashing with the game, it is an issue with your PC.

Games can and do crash, but it is not normal for them to take your PC down with them. That is a sign of an issue with your hardware/software.

It's less related to AMD and more related to the card being factory overclocked and probably not taken care by the user over the years.

It really goes back and forth between AMD and Nvidia with issues, so it virtually always goes down to individual SKU rather than the brand itself.

If you read the changelogs for each driver release and notice the Known Issues list they are mostly comparable.
Nvidia still didn't fix the HDMI2.1 TV signal sleep bug to this day, AMD has DisplayPort sleep bug in certain apps, etc.

Hello, im having an issue running ready or not.

I am stuck at 16% loading into headquaters when trying to host a friends game. I have tried it the other way around, with my friend hosting and with me joining, where i can get into his headqauters but get stuck loading missions at 100%. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Safe Mode runs on DX12, try to switch to DX11 renderer.
if you have issues running the game at all without Safe mode, remove all mod files and verify game files in Steam.

Go back to DX12 and let it compile shaders. On older CPUs even though it's a 16-thread one it will take few minutes (5-10, on quad-core CPUs even longer).
If you you keep fiddling with video settings, the process may restart so long as there are unique shader combinations to compile. Same if you update GPU drivers.

You likely have leftover mod data somewhere that the game is still reading, which, aside from using the clean mods/save data launch option, I'd recommend you just go into gameplay options and disable server-side checksum. This should especially be done by whoever is hosting. However, if you do want to fully clean out the mods and use said launch option to do so, then make sure to back up the contents of: %LocalAppData%\ReadyOrNot\Saved\SaveGames otherwise, all your saved data will be lost.

Well, I was asking that for if it fixed the issue with incompatible mods, which seems to be the case. So, if you're worried about that and want to use mods, then do the other thing I mentioned and make sure whoever is hosting has server-side checksum disabled in gameplay options. Just make sure you install mods manually from NexusMods and only download mods uploaded/updated on or after December 10, 2024, and you should have no issues.

I have this problem, too. RoN has been running great with no issues and suddenly I couldn’t play anymore. I load, get to first splash screen, game freezes, and crashes.

Solutions I’ve tried but none work:

• update gpu drivers
• verify files
• launch in dx12, dx11, safe mode, clean mode
• update drivers
• antivirus exclusions for all RoN file locations
• delete all RoN files + configs and reinstall
• delete paks and reverify files again
• DX shader cache delete / fix
• all overlays off + any 3rd party programs closed
• launch without DLC
• launch with Admin

Clean install; no mods ever. 1 DLC installed only (Dark Waters).

Specs:

• 13700k, 4090, 64gb ddr4, ssd drives, 1000w psu - Windows 11 64-bit, 23H2
  (Undervolted since day 1, still undervolted, and never recorded anything past 1.5 vcore. Yes, I have tried default settings on updated BIOS. Never had a single stutter or crash in RoN @ 4K 240hz. Every other game runs fine and compiles shaders with zero issue and no crashes - Rivals, Wukong, Remnant 2, Darktide)

Go to %localappdata% > and delete ReadyorNot, it will get rid of old bad caches, but it will also delete your saveprogress. Since you used clear save, it is already gone anyway.

Hey, I was wondering someone would be able to help fix an issue I'm having with Ready or Not.

Everytime I've tried booting up the game, it would crash and it used to say "Program had an error occure and would like to close" (but now it just auto closes) and would not give me an error code or anything.

Launching as Administrator
Launching in fullscreen optimization mode
Verifying the files
Updating my graphics card

I'm not sure I'll be completely honest I'm not the best with computers I'm just trying to help you with my knowledge, but with those specs you shouldn't be experiencing problems I don't think, handcuffs are glowing probably because of low graphics, I'd look through your settings again and see if there's any other graphics you can lower, if that doesn't work try verifying your files and rebooting the game

A good FPS would be like 60-80 though I usually get about 60 with my R3 if I don't have anything else running

Hi, is there a way to make mod.io download mods straight into the drive that RoN is installed on? I noticed that it tends to download mods into my OS Drive, which is very limited on space, THEN transfer it into the actual game files.

Essentially to get past this, I had to babysit the game and delete the files one by one on the OS drive after it was done tranfering them to the actual location, and that can be tedious when you have many maps subbed too.

Have you forced DLSS 4 in the Nvidia app? My game was doing this with the new DLSS 4 - I've had to leave it turned off then it runs just fine on DLSS 3 as normal. Devs probably need to release a fix for this as every other game that I've forced DLSS 4 on has no issue.

hey! I got crashing issues with ready or not. It insta crashes when i launch the game. It was working fine last weekend but now it just insta crashes. Any ideas how to fix this? I just see void interactive logo and then the game just crashes.

Just did Ironman without losing any officers. Didn't get the watch nor did any achievements proc. Any clue why (and is there a fix or will i have to download SAM?)

You wont get watch if one of your officers was resigned, as for achievements you need at least C grade on port hokan

hello, im new here just because i cant seem to play multiplayer, everytime i try to join, it says that i lost the connection to the session, and even if I make the lobby, someone joins but then it kicks him i guess, i have poor internet, yes, but i can play bunch of games perfectly fine, what should i do?

You probably deleted some core game files, verify game files in Steam.

youre going to want to check the last updated dates for all the mods you have installed

if any have a last updated date from before december 10th 2024, delete them

Up to you if you want to see the debug overlays for individual systems or not.

BTW there are 2 "latest" drivers, one WHQL and one Beta, so always ask which specific version, it clears things out a lot.
