I recall one recent event where a mod/config file was the culprit but the guy was adamant that it isn't caused by mods, and the rest of answers for this issue even from mods and CM is "it's either mod or network setup".
I'm not sure if this game is using SteamSockets or not, but it is P2P so the culprit simply is somewhere between you and them one way or another, which is why you see people post repeatedly the same answers.

Sadly, if it is network related, you'll gonna spend quite some time troubleshooting this on your own regardless of which answers you'll find, since at that point the resolution differs per user setup, so that time sink is mostly unavoidable.

It is possible but it is not recommended, USB has certain overhead and timeouts so execution from external devices is going to have unforeseen issues from time to time depending on the game

Better if you simply move bloat from your main drive to that SSD instead.

Compared to my friend, I also changed the games brightness from 2.2 to 1.8 and even to 1.0, menus got way darker but in some places it still was extremely illuminated, like in the second map

Hey guys, it’s been over a year since I quit playing, and the game is still unplayable for me.

The whole reason I quit is because the game became so laggy that I couldn’t play it anymore, it was totally out of the blue, because my computer handled it just fine before. Literally I was getting less than three frames per second, and prior to that, I had been upwards of 70 no problem.

I don’t know if it was a tech issue or an update issue, but for whatever reason it still is a problem even a year after. And I still cannot play the game.

I can’t be the only one experiencing this. Are there any fixes/updates that are planned to address this issue, considering I spent a decent chunk of money on this game?

Hey guys, I've made this mod which replaces some textures (specifically the posters in the streamers house from 23mb a second), but today when i updated it with more replacements my game wouldn't work on DX12, only on DX11. When I launch with DX12 I can click continue to go to the hub, when I get in the hub I can move my camera click my keybinds, etc, but when I move (that being clicking either W, A, S or D) the game immediately crashes. Again, on DX12, when I go into settings from the main menu and then click graphics, the game crashes. None of this happens on DX11.

If you use the in game mod.io feature you mean? it would install them automatically but I don't recommend using it, it has far more outdated mods. I recommend installing manually from nexusmods. #❓modding-faq has instructions on how to install from both sites.

That's what I was thinking, usually it worked when restarting the game but I added the EBR gun that comes with it's own attatchments and then it broke, I've since removed that and it doesn't work anymore

Occasionaly my game crashes during loading screens. It just seems to happen randomly and is getting kind of annoying. Every day if I play at least a few matches it crashes at least once or a few times.

That patch is a big deal for your chip series and if you do not have it, it will fry your chip, ontop of causing issues for the game

Go to game install location through steam, ready or not, content, paks, then delete the modio folder

we have a few modded guns and they come with scopes but for the modded guns if you try to put anything on them it doesnt load for me and my friend just sees white boxes in the modded guns attachments and the only mod gun that seems to work is the glock mod we have this is all if he hosts the server, if i host it he cant even join.

we are using vortex incase the mods need to be loaded in a specific order but so far that hasnt been needed

Right so sounds like the mods aren't working 100% on his end. I would highly recommend you stick to manual installation only and not using vortex but this is a known problem with additional attachments currently there isn't any fix for it afaik until the mod author updates the mods with the data from this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/readyornot/mods/5273 currently though if you have the colt canada BCM installed and are getting this issue you can fix it with the example data for colt canada mod on that mod page.

Ran the game on DirectX 11 instead of DirectX 12, now all my unlocks are gone, even on DX 12, is there a fix or am I fucked?

There is no way changing DX versions did that unless you A) Crashed, B) Used the clear mods option, or C) Deleted something

It still has all my highest completions saved

But every unlock and saved loadout I had is gone

There isn't any way to recover that data if it was corrupted, but as I mentioned that requires one of the three above to happen, changing DX version just changes your graphics at a basic level so it wouldn't touch your data.

Your options would be to replay or download the 100% mod, but you cannot recover your individual save

I fixed it by the way, if you're encountering this issue go to your File Explorer, select your drive thats experencing the issue and check for any errors, I had to repair mine and it worked no issue after

my friend and I are having problems with crashing when we join each others games. Whoever is the host doesn't crash, but the one who joins does. We can usually make it 2-5 mins into a game before whoever is not host just disconnects. You can verify the game files though, yes, but if you deleted a core game file it will reinstall it

I went into the "browse files" in steam for the game, I went into the ready or not folder, then to content and clicked on Paks, I selected all mods in their and deleted them. Granted Knowing me I deleted the wrong thing.

Then you deleted the core game files, go into your recycling bin and put back only the files above, or verify the game files and reinstall them.

As of tonight (01/21/2025) i had my brother play a game with me, we played a few missions together then i started noticing a bug/glitch so to speak. In the operator customizations locker screen it seems to not be saving my outfit, selected voice, & operator skin. but i have a saved "loadout". i know that the Loadout tab is different from the customizations tab. let me state that my saved loadout is the same, but my visual customizations auto-reset back to default. [Operator skin, operator voice, and all of my selected and saved apparel or kit. {Combat belt, shirt, pants, eyewear, flash resistant goggles, tattoo selection, watch or time peace selection, helmet, boots, gloves, ETC. I'm new to comuters and have been following this game since the beginning and im very very pleased with the overall gameplay of the game. AI is really buggy if you watch them through the saved video logs or replays to watch you and your team through free cam.

well for a moment i thought it fixed but when i make a change to my operator and overwrite the save, it seems to have similar problems. outfit remained the same this time, only my character and voice changed back to the default JUDGE selection.

I don't know if customization presets save the selected character I think it's only the clothes it saves but regardless as long as you save as preset the clothes should save but the character voice is a known issue and nothing to really be done about that until a patch for it is released.
