A good chunk of mods no longer work due to the update, some have already received updates but there's still a lot that have yet to receive updates. I can tell you cosmetic mods such as clothing reskins/replacers and addon's work without crashing the game but some may be missing textures or in the case of addon helmets simply don't appear in game at all.

If your PC shuts down spontaneously, that means your PC is just that unstable.

Usually caused by over-voltage, over-current and overheating protections, though it can be also caused by random things like power button being stuck, etc.

If you run out of disk space for update, Steam will use another active Steam Library to download and apply the update.
If one of those libraries is slow drive, it slows the entire process even more so.

Can I somehow roll back this update on my low-end computer. It messed up the lighting again on another map, which was 23 megabytes. Before the update dropped, my screen wasn't as bright like this, but now it's like the lighting deep fried everything.

The previous DLC dropped messed up Brisa Cove map for me, too. Overall, it's like more maps are getting their lighting deep fried with each update.

I know raising my shadow graphic setting to high will fix it, but it butchers my frames.

If you are the host, you will always be Judge because he is the only one with command voicelines. I have heard of other cases where you can't change your voice, I imagine it is related to the preset bug in #❗known-issues-and-fixes

Hey all, I've been having this problem where when playing, either 10 to 30 mins (The timing is very inconsistent) into a match I'll have a sudden freeze that last 3 seconds roughly then the game full closes without a crash report.
Somedays I'll be able to complete multiple maps with no problems and others I get crashes 4 or 5 times in the same night.
I play with friends, sometimes duos, sometimes full squads.

I've tried lowering my settings and monitoring the CPU and GPU stats and am unsure how to diagnose what's causing it,
From monitoring it, my GPU runs around 97% consistently and CPU runs around 25% or higher, my frames are consistent at around 100FPS

different values over scallability settings, different patchs, way more detail etc..

Tweak the graphic settings to your preference. For example, the 'Shadow Per Object' setting is often one of the most demanding when set to High/Epic. Also, there is a chance that your graphic settings may be reset, so check your upscaling settings. Make sure your drivers are updated and that mods are working correctly.

What it means is that you have a bloatware that keeps flagging harmless apps as potentially unwanted applications.
So the best course of action is to restore that specific Ready or Not file from quarantine, whitelist the entire SteamApps directory in said bloatware and then remove that bloatware entirely from your PC, yes, I am talking about Norton.

In my case it's because I uninstalled the game BEFORE whitelisting the RoN .exe file, which is admittedly my fault.

But now there's most likely a few bits and pieces remaining that cannot be overwritten by a reinstall, so now the install procedure cannot be completed and I get a disk write error.

Yeah I'm also getting that issue too, it's really frustrating. After the update I had to equip the gear on my person and my squad and after entering a match, not me or my other four dudes had the loadout I had them equipped. I temporarily disabled my antivirus software. Avast flagged the Ready or Not .exe file and quarantined it to prevent the game from launching, even though it is a false positive.

As I said, I uninstalled the game BEFORE adding the RoN .exe to the whitelist / AV exemption list.

But because my AV was still running during the first reinstall attempts, I couldn't get Steam to finalize the reinstall due to a disk write error.

I only managed to complete the fresh install after temporarily disabling Avast. Steam now managed to complete the install procedure and the game launched just fine.

Next time I run it, I have to add a manual exemption for the RoN .exe file and I should be good to go.

No. Disable AV, (re)install RoN, see if the installation procedure manages to complete (I had trouble initially, where I got disk write errors at the end because my AV was still running), and if so, launch the game.

Then check your AV next time and see if it quarantined a certain file. If so --> add to whitelist and you can play RoN with AV running.

Hello, good evening, I have a question. Is it normal for the game to experience random frame drops out of nowhere? It doesn’t usually happen during gunfights, but it does when I’m exploring the map, any of them. If you are playing DX11, it is loading the map as you play. DX12 caches most of the map during the loading screen, but not 100%, and not at full detail

I'm playing on DX12, that's the weird part. I mean, no matter how many times I play the map (I'm playing 3 Letter Triad, goated map), the same thing always happens. Sooner or later in the match, the FPS drop to 70 for a split second, causing a small stutter, and then everything goes back to normal. I tried everything: updated my BIOS, chipset drivers, and GPU drivers, monitored their temperatures—everything seems normal. I even reinstalled the drivers for all of the above and cleared the cache twice, yet it still keeps happening

Not sure how to word this but when uninstalling and reinstalling games does steam use a backup from your old cloud save or does it give a full clean install, for context I installed RoN on my new pc

but it’s entirely possible that you are suffering from height over bore, it would presumably be more prominent on a magnified gun since it’s probably aligned for a further range

different sights would have different adjustments in theory for what range they’re meant for. so one might “zero out” around 50m while another might around 100m so on so on

Refresh my memory, is it a known problem that one cannot shoot or throw grenades after Dark Waters (with no mods) as a client in Coop lobby ?

There actually was reports that shoot keybind was reset for someone, but im not sure about it

Seems like broken config file for some reason. He did check his keybinds in-game and they were correctly displayed (so maybe the config reset/unbound keys but UI had cached values, dunno).

Seems to be working after removing keybind config file.

The issue where your loadout resets after backing out is annoying
