Ok it just happened again, one friendly SWAT suddenly died at room 1201 main room with nobody shooting at him, 2 hostiles already surrendered

I suspect it's due to the gas grenade launcher round I have already launched and dispersed gas. It is always nearby the bodies of the dead SWAT.

No, you're good. I cannot access the start menu of the game. I spend hours on end verifying files and double checking everything else hardware wise just to essentially reboot loop until I can actually load the game up. I get about halfway thru a level and if a gas grenade goes off or someone starts shooting the AI the whole thing stops, sometimes its as simple as I'm bagging evidence as I hear an AI yell and the game freezes without any hope of recovery. Give me a sec and I will send specs

Ok. I'm having a very frustrating issue.
I've been playing the game for years now with no issues. However recently, I've been getting this "Out of video memory" error occasionally. Over the past week, it has completely bricked the game. I can no longer launch whatsoever. Sometimes it comes up when the game launches and immediately crashes it, sometime it does it when in the station, sometimes it does it when loading into a mission.

The game is completely playable in the state it occurs in. So in this screenshot I can still move about the station and do literally everything... So clearly I'm NOT actually out of video memory. I've tried just about every solution I can find online. I'm on a fresh install on an M.2 SSD (Was originally on an HDD with no issues). No mods or mod data, running any options, dx11 or dx12, safe mode, etc. All has the same issue. I've increased my page memory to the max. I've monitored my GPU Usage and it gets nowhere near maxed out. I've launched the game in 1080p and it still happens. I can't explain it.

Anybody else have this issue or come up with any solutions?

Your CPU was made unstable and has an issue with Oodle shaders that the game uses

Essentially. Your chip out of the box does not have the proper code to regulate its energy use, and will fry itself if given enough time. Intel introduced the patch in August that you have to update to, you are free to look online if you don't believe us specifically.

Updating it will regulate your chip better and fix the issues while also avoiding your chip frying itself.

Valley of dolls runs perfect on DX12 and same with the Lawmaker map on DLC 1

I hope DLC 2 gets a pass on performance because right now i dont think i will be able to host a boat session with less than 40 fps on coop

RoN uses P2P, there are no official servers, the host is the server.

There have been some cases where if you are too close there are issues like if you are two far, but it depends on your connections

You can try changing your download region in settings and clearing the cache, but worse case scenario you can create a backup of your %localappdata% > ready or not and then reinstall the game completely

I arrest canceled a civilian by walking just as i was putting the cuffs on him, he got up and started repeating the "no fkin way" lines when telling him to surrender, not even beating him or using tazer worked, he acted the same way as the druggies on the meth house when they get bugged on the second floor closet

Like they hear commands but they are stuck "in a state" in this case being non compliant and there is nothing that you can do to break it

Same as the meth heads when they are panicking and hide in the closet, they get stuck inside and are "visible" but still inside the closet and still non compliant

Hope its a quick fix because if not i will have to not use the arrest cancel ever since i die or i brick an npc and im not taking chances haha

Well HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE will make it run as admin (causing the prompt), while HKEY_CURRENT_USER will make it run as the current user. (To my understanding.)

That is so bizarre. It looks like all of the evidence in the evidence locker has a weird bronze texture all over it, or lighting isn't being applied to it correctly.

I think it may be due to a lighting issue, because it flashes with correct colors for a frame before going back to this. I think the same thing happens with the Bounce Light on the flashlights now too, where it will flash briefly before going dark.

Update seems to have broken some of the game's basic lighting.

So touching base here first to see thoughts. PC specs as follows MOBO z490. Ram 64gig 3600MHz, GPU 3080 10G. Proc i9-10900KF. All drivers up to date. Game has been verified (2x) no issues found there. Now attempted uninstall and reinstall on m.2 980samsung. Game now look very bad screen shots to follow. can anyone help with performance issues. i have like 30% gpu load and 75-80 cpu and getting 50-60 fps on average on new maps. changing settings to max makes the game stutter but use a bit more gpu. weirdly i have good frames in HQ and good gpu load there but not on the maps.
