Clearing mods, checking system requirements, running the game as an administrator, verifying integrity of game files, updating C++, updated DX, updating GPU drivers, disabling overlay, checking windows updates, antivirus checks, windowed mode, clean booting your computer, closing background processes, resetting and/or reinstalling, etc. etc. all do not work, I would recommend either waiting or pestering someone to fix this, as it seems like more than a local issue with your computer.

Either way you slice it, it looks like you cannot fix this yourself, so I wouldn't recommend stressing yourself out by trying.

Go to steam > on the top left click on steam > option > cloud > uncheck all boxes, then
right click on ready or not in your library >properties > general > uncheck the steam cloud category box
You should be able ton play few minutes later, I had to relaunch the game a few time on geforce now

Method 1- Automatic Launcher
[Will remove saves like scores and loadouts]

1. Go to Ready or Not on the library and select the game

2. Hit launch and wait for the popup box to appear

3. Launch as "Clean Save Data/Mods"

4. Hit "Yes" to continue

5. Hit "Yes" to continue

6. Hit "Ok" and/or close the window

7. Launch RoN using DX11/12 as normal

Method 2- Administrative Auto

1. Right click the game on Steam, click "manage", then open local files

2. Click and open Engine > Binaries > Win64

3. Right click "Crashreporter.exe" and hit "Run as administrator"

4. Hit clear mod & save data (OPTIONAL), allow it up to 20s to do so.

5. Launch the game

Method 3- Manual

1. Right click the game on Steam, click "manage", then open local files

2. Click and open ReadyorNot > Content > Paks

3. There are 26 core files with "windowsnoeditor", do not touch these.

4. Delete anything (including the mod.io folder) that is not one of the 26 files.

5. Type into the top directory bar of file explorer, "%localappdata%"

6. Delete "ReadyorNot"

7. Verify the game files

8. Launch the game

Hi! It's me from the "Mod installer" comments, I am unable to load into Direct X 12 (the game does not show the beginning movie/boot picture and goes straight to the crash screen) and I have to delete my save data to get my game to boot in Direct X 11. I have no mods, I hand deleted all files and downloaded the game onto a new hard drive (SSD) and it is still having issues. People keep telling me to use the auto mod remover, but I have no mod files to remove! (Not that it works anyways, if you hand install PAKs or MP3 files the software does not recognize them/delete them)

That is why the game is on a brand new and separate SSD. I am on the current version of windows, and my Nvidia drivers are up to date.

My game files are verified and I have sent multiple crash reports

This is NOT a mod issue, as when I can load into the DRX11 version of the game (after using the crash managers "delete save data" option, neat that it works) it shows I'm running a non modivied version of the game

If you're in fullscreen windowed make sure the resolution matches the one on your monitor. I have to do it ever time I boot the game

I think the newest update is fucking around with my PC.

If I alt tab while it is loading, it bricks my PC and the only way to stop it is to manually press the restart button on the PC case, because the game screen covers every display on every window and pressing restart or shutdown through the windows menu does nothing.
