The difference in performance between stingers and flashes is negligible honestly ; the rubber pellets in stingers spread out the more space there is and flashes seem to work better in low light environments

Just use whichever you like honestly ; it’s easier to fuck up and get a rubber pellet in your head with stingers than it is to get injured by your own flash though in my experience

It also be done less lethal way though, yes it's bit harder but it's pretty much guaranteed in one successful try, just take away all evidence and move them close to each other and then just arrest them all at once.
