Great welcome to the community new player and i get banned for a minor collision with another truck/player because my steering wheel decided to disconnect randomly was generally an accident ban appeal was also declined too strict in my opinion

If there isnt valid argument or counter-evidence for why the ban should be removed (Excuses, isn't valid as people might think. This is covered by rule §1.1 - Account, equipment & Gameplay).

But, if you after the out come of the appeal still isn't happy about the decision. Forwarding it to feedback ticket for the responsible team, might be worth of a try. They have the final say, in the provided case.

It's kinda a common error, I experience that as well....simply just close the game (alt + F4).....then restart the game from the TMP launcher, it should fix itself (or at least that's how it works for me)

It does say overtaking is prohibited. There is no other part to it with amendments for more than one lane, would expect it to be 100% no overtaking at any time.

Something to understand on event servers, specially on convoy similar events by same concept of convoy. --> When the temporary rules, mention "No overtaking", it means overtaking is prohibited, regardless of road-design. Highway, country-road, intersections etc. This can only be exception, if stated otherwise during the event.
