First big update to the bus system enhancing the profile economy 🎉

  • Finished bus job is now rewarded with a payout

    • Each finished job is financially rewarded based on the driven distance
    • Any sustained damage reduces the payout based on how bad it was. When the damage is too bad, no payout is issued
    • The amount of rewarded money is subject to change

  • When a bus job is active, more information regarding it can be seen in the Current Job tab in the Route Adviser

    • This includes the name of the next bus stop, the expected arrival time at the next bus stop, and more
    • The expected arrival time is based on the navigation data, it does not replace and does not correspond to the time shown in the DBus World overlay

  • Custom waypoints are no longer removed from the map when arriving at a bus stop

  • TruckersMP's partners have their logo shown next to their nametag

Get started by inviting our Discord bot, @hexed yacht, to your server. Keep in mind, though, that not all Discord servers currently have access to Linked Roles.

Right now, two configurable attributes are available: staff status and account age. These are updated in real time. So for example, if somebody leaves the TruckersMP Team, they will immediately lose a Linked Role with a staff requirement.

We have continued with the user interface overhaul. A year ago, we released an improved chat system, which we iterated on earlier this year by implementing IME.
Today marks the second iteration; we are introducing the Player Panel, a supersessor of the old Scoreboard. 🎉

  • New, improved, modern design. Say bye to obsolete windows; embrace a panel!
  • The panel automatically scales based on the resolution. This can be further tweaked in the interface settings.
  • No more question marks for non-basic Latin characters; all character sets (Georgian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc.) are now correctly displayed for usernames and player tags.
  • The player tag and username columns are merged to make the player list more compact.
  • Each player is highlighted with staff/patron and player/company buddy icons.
  • By default, friends and company buddies are grouped at the top of the player list.
  • Players can be interacted with by using new action buttons.
  • The sorting configuration for the player list can be saved between sessions.
  • The panel can be moved around and resized like the old Scoreboard could be.
  • The context menu has been remade with this new design.

    • The profile time is no longer affected. Instead only the environment time is synchronized.
    • This allows to fix all issues with the photo studio, namely:
      • Changing the time
      • Changing the weather
      • Modifying the depth of field (the focusing plane position and the blur)
    • Glitches when drivers generated a ridiculous amount of money after the connection are fixed.
    • Job offers finished after the connection are no longer penalised for a late delivery.
    • The fatigue simulation is now working.
  • After a successful connection, the job market is regenerated with new job offers to fix issues with no job offers being available.
  • Added a map overlay which can be opened while driving (binded to the same key as opening the world map, "M" by default).
  • Fixed the synchronization of animated gates (garage doors, gates at companies, and doors of the inspection rooms).
  • Fixed a rare issue when the "You cannot do that. Firstly stop your truck." message has been popping up repeatedly.

  • Reworking the Scoreboard with a new context menu replacing buttons at the bottom of the window
    • The context menu can be open by right clicking a player in the list
    • Copying or sharing the actual job can be done through this menu
  • The job market is now regenerated right after the game is loaded (instead of the time synchronization)
