No, the versioning is simply not correct. if VR gets ever in the main game, tmp will support it. but as of now, no.

So you really have only two choices
1.) Play VR, but Singleplayer
2.) Play TruckersMP, but no VR

The VR Version is not in the main game, its on a different version than the main game, which makes TMP unable to support it.

Sadly, VR support is a separate game branch. If one day SCS make it a part of main branch, then TruckersMP may be able to support it.

Well, that's approximate. Usually TruckersMP tries to follow astronomic seasons - and this year it's 21 December. Last year, Frosty Mod support was introduced earlier so that Christmas Convoy can have snow 🙂
